Khao Sok Residence Resort

The location is so beautiful, surrounded by the rainforest and just a 10 minute walk into town. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we were assisted in booking our day tour and sorting transport to our next location. The room is very comfortable and we were able to have our washing done on site by one of the staff. Breakfast was also very good. 100% recommend

A great place with fun, friendly staff. Still brand new, I think I was the third person to EVER stay in my room, so they're still working on the landscaping and their English skills. But the rooms are clean and, for this kind of place, big. It's cool enough in November that I turned off my fan about midnight and got under the blanket. I did not see a mosquito the whole three days I was here, although there were many closer to the river. They have a tiny kitchen and they're still learning about foreign foods, but they are very eager to please. And the road they are on is convenient to the park but away from the noise and crowds of the main road. I worked in a hotel on Phuket for seven years and I've stayed in dozens of hotels all over Thailand. I enjoyed my stay at the Residence very much and will definitely come back.

Room and service is great. It is not so expensive, but it is a bit far from the main road.

Super vriendelijke en behulpzame eigenaar. Hij is zelf jarenlang gids geweest en weet de weg in toeristen land. Heel positief! Echt een aanrader. Net buiten de drukte, heerlijke huisjes.

Очень понравилось. Новые бунгало с отличной обстановкой. Тихое, спокойное место, недалеко до центральной улицы. Отличный вайфай.

Great place to stay. We had a modern bungalow room with air con. We had no hard sell with trips at all and people were lovely. If you want to do a trip the next day they obviously need to know asap to get you a space or else you may be disappointed, maybe this has been misinterpreted as being pushy, but in any case no problem with that for us.
Minus one star for only having sheet and getting cold in night (after switching off air conditioning) I have fed this back to resort. Couple in fan room had same issue with being cold. A little off the main strip but a pleasant stroll of about 15 mins which was fine. Would stay here again.

Good budget accommodation in Khao Sok Village for a short stay. Room was clean, insect net without holes, fan was new and working well.
Apart from the 2 simple bamboo bungalows they also have new and modern huts that looked pretty nice.
There seems to be no breakfast or restaurant option but you’ll find great food in the main road with a short walk.

Kleine Bungalows mit eigenem Bad. Wer für das Geld Luxus erwartet ist hier falsch. Nicht besonders sauber und nicht sonderlich modern. Für das Geld aber sehr fair 4/5

Super idyllisch gelegen direkt am Nationalpark... viel schönes Vogelgezwitscher.
Wir haben mit den Gastgebern eine Jungle-Trekking Tour gemacht mit Bamboo Cooking und so einen einzigartigen Einblick in den Charme des Lebens im wilden Khao Sok bekommen.
Bei der Tour konnten wir auch viele sehr hübsche Schlangen bewundern und der Guide konnte viele Informationen teilen und passt sehr gut auf, dass nichts passiert.

Bonitos y espaciosos bungalows. Las vistas son muy bonitas y hay monos por todas partes. Muy tranquilo sin ruido. Las toallas y sabanas no estan super limpias pero se puede dormir. Los baños huelen bastante mal y nuestra puerta no cerraba. Los servicios de tours del hostel son muy caros y es lo primero que intentan venderte. No valen la pena. Está un poco alejado de la calle principal (15’ caminando) y con poca luz en el camino. Tuvimos problemas con la conexión wifi. Por el precio que pagamos 700B/noche está bastante bien para descansar durante los días de excursiones.

We have booked the place last moment, and there was not many options available.
Despite it is quite affordable, it is still expensive for what you get.
There is no Air Conditioning in most of the bungalows, it is hot during day, however, at night it is ok and we slept well.
It is 10-12 min walk from the main street and the entrance to the national park.
There is a restaurant nearby, where you can have a breakfast or a lunch. The place is also not expensive, but still overpriced for what you get.
The place is fine to stay for couple of nights if you have not better options.

You can buy there tours and transfer, but slightly more expensive than in the town.

Just ok, room was clean but didn't have airconditioning

Unterkunft: sehr schick und zu empfehlen.
Lage: auch perfekt, sehr ruhig gelegen und dennoch ist die Hauptstraße zu Fuß schnell erreichbar

Einziger Nachteil: der Besitzer. So etwas unfreundliches haben wir in unserem Thailand Urlaub noch nicht erlebt!!

Habitación limpia con aire acondicionado. En la entrada al bungalow hay una pequeña terraza con vistas a un maravilloso jardín con palmeras. Personal un poco desagradable, o eso, o se molestaron que no contratásemos el tour del lago, ya que queríamos ir por nuestra cuenta
