Our Jungle House

We really enjoyed getting to stay at OJH this past week! The staff was extremely friendly and were able to accommodate all of our excursions and give good advice about which were best for us. They were also able to arrange long transfers to and from our other stops which we appreciated.
To echo other reviews, this is a somewhat open villa around lots of wildlife. This is something we appreciated but might not be for everybody. Our villa was very clean though despite this! We’ll definitely be back!

Our Jungle House is AMAZING!

The team here did an absolutely incredible job accommodation and arranging for us.

We did a guided tour with all meals included, but had to leave the tour early to catch a flight. The jungle house team arranged our transportation and private boat in order to make our flight on time, we're extremely responsive by email and easy to communicate with.

Our tour guide at Cheow Lan Lake, Op, even rearranged the itinerary so that we would not miss our early boat, and he arranged for us a to-go breakfast. Everyone who worked with the tour and worked with the hotel are wonderful.

Fully recommend! Staying with Our jungle house was an amazing experience. Location is wonderful and unique, stuff is very friendly and activities are fun.
We chose active package and … it’s active 😁👌 next time we will add one day extra just to enjoy beautiful surroundings. Definitely worth it!

Once in a life experience!!! One night stay at the beautiful tree house inside the forest by the river was amazing! Second night at the rafthouse in the lake with tour on the amazing limestone was beyond expectations!!! Waking up at the lake and watching the sunrise while swimming in the emerald waters of the lake felt like paradise!!!

OJH is one of our best places to stop during our trips to Thailand. We have visited this place many times and will be definitely back. Green lush, jungle vibe resort with amazing views - LOVE IT. Staff is also super kind and very easy to reach. Communication between us and resort was always fast and smooth. Big thanks to Tanya and Gwen who always reply quickly to our emails and try to fit all our requests.

We have just returned from 2 nights in Khao Sok Village at Our Jungle House and then 2 nights on the floating bungalows arranged by MJH. Literally 10/10. Everything was PERFECTLY organised. It was an experience to remember forever. They arranged to pick us up from Tapee Pier in Surat Thani and then drop us to Ao Nang after our 4 night stay. We never had to wait for anyone to collect us. We did the river canoeing whilst we stayed in the village which was fantastic. Everything was always on time and it just ran seamlessly. We went to Khao Sok elephant sanctuary which was fantastic too, so ethical and magical. Floating bungalows were extremely basic (no fan or charging ports in the room, no signal) but it was an incredible experience. Staff were so lovely we were treated like family. Our guide spoke good English (his name was Ed) and he was so amazing. He was so enthusiastic despite doing the same job for years and years. Our driver was so lovely too (Lec). We had frogs and geckos in our bamboo shack on the bungalows so prepare to be very close to nature. We saw many animals in the wild with Ed - elephant, gibbon, bison, monkey, hornbill etc. We did the Viewpoint hike which was tough but good. We do not have a bad word to say about our experience it was fantastic.

The manager was very accommodating to us when the travel company we had booked with allocated an incorrect room. It was sorted relatively quickly, and the room was lovely. The manager also helped us when a giant hornet got into our room at night. We were a bit squeamish about the insects but what do you expect in the jungle.

If you want an authentic jungle experience living close to nature, this is your place! So beautiful and calm with plenty opportunities to go on excursions or visit the local village. The rafting was awesome, the river is nice for a refreshing swim, massages were peaceful and the people very friendly and helpful. Particularly enjoyed the vibe in the bar for a quiet drink and some good music 👌 thanks our jungle house for such a wonderful stay! It was like a dream come true to fall asleep in a treehouse to the sounds of nature 🌱

What a magical place. A wonderful jungle location! The staff were very helpful and efficient, ensuring breakfasts were ready at specific timings to allow you to head out early for the day's activities. The overnight stay on the lake was incredible! There are so many activities to choose from, all well organized and run. I would thoroughly recommend staying here

We were blown away by Our Jungle House — this place was just so cool. We only stayed here for a night as part of a tour we did of Khao Sok, but we absolutely adored it. We stayed in Jungle House 2, one of the treehouses. It was such a cool and secluded area. We enjoyed the River access as well for cooling off from the jungle heat. We liked the restaurant as well, and after our tour the staff let us hangout for a few hours while we waited for our transport (which they also arranged for us). This place was amazing, totally worth the price. A once in a lifetime experience.

The perfect jungle spot. Hot water for showering completed the daily adventures. Cute rooms for sweet dreams and veranda hammocks for lazy days. Wonderful memory maker. ❤

What a fantastic jungle experience...we spent 3 nights at this unique spot, secretly hidden in real jungle with a floating river at his side.What a fantastic moment waking up by the sound of the awakening jungle,in the evening just sitting by candlelight on the spacious deck of house "Liana " enjoying a glass of wine and leaning back,counting stars.
Our family enjoyed every single day on the great tours, especially the hiking with guide, he showed us so many things( huntsman spider, tarantula,sleeping snake in the tree, young fresh ginger)...we wouldn't have seen without him.
The food at our jungle house is tasty an fresh,we loved the homemade brownies, breakfast is well organized when you goon tour and out treehouse was well equipped, absolutely spacious enough for us 4.

I'm excited to share the incredible experience our vegan group from World Vegan Travel had at Our Jungle House in Khao Sok. Gonthong and Marius, our dedicated contacts, truly made our time there exceptional, accommodating our vegan preferences and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay.

The night safari they arranged was not only a unique wildlife experience but also a vegan-friendly one. Spotting a Slow Loris in its natural habitat was truly magical.

Our vegan group thoroughly enjoyed the canoe ride, taking in the stunning Khao Sok scenery.

The treehouses at Our Jungle House provided a perfect retreat for our vegan travelers. Comfy, eco-friendly, and nestled in nature, they added a unique charm to our stay.

Tubing to the resort was a fun adventure that set a relaxed tone for our time at Our Jungle House. The whole experience, from the river float to the warm hospitality, made our stay truly memorable.

My partner and I stayed at Our Jungle House and signed up for the overnight lake trip (one day/one night at Our Jungle House and two days/one night on the lake). We had a great time at Our Jungle House. They offer a bunch of different types of activities to do which was great. Because of rainy weather, we opted out of doing a canoe trip or rafting trip (which was our original plan), and choose to do the cooking class, which we loved! We got to cook with one of the cooks at the hotel's restaurant. It was a one-on-one class and super personal. We learned a lot and had the best time. There's not much to do in the town itself, so highly recommend signing up for activities. We ended the night at the bar and had a great time watching the sunset in the jungle and sipping on lovely cocktails. The room was nicer than what you would expect in the jungle. Very clean and spacious. I was nervous about no AC, but ended up being very pleased with the ceiling fans - AC was not needed. The rooms have mosquito/bug nets which are a must. We had a great stay and would recommend.

What a very special place. Away from town but close enough for walking. Good food at the restaurant but better value places in town. Rooms are clean, each is unique in location and furnishings. Ceiling fans for cooling

Incredible place right in the heart of nature. So many fun activities to do (tubing, rafting, elephant visits, hikes, night safari, massages...), super friendly and attentive staff, delicious food and the tree houses are gorgeous. Location is right next to the river, about 20min walk from town. Seeing as it is in the jungle you can expect a few critters here and there - that s all part of it! We also saw some bigger animals like frogs, blue-winged birds and monkeys.

Wildlife galore. The staff were amazing and the location is spectacular.
We hired guides and they were absolutely wonderful. Dang was our guide for the majority of the trip and took great care of us!!! Honestly, Dang is incredible. Enormously knowledgeable about the local wildlife and plants and wonderfully friendly.
Our nocturnal guide was Snake expert Mint, who went out of his way to ensure we found the species we were after. What an incredibly magical part of the world.

We had an amazing experience at Our Jungle house. The room had everything you needed and the staff was excellent! If you are a nature lover this place is a must. We booked the overnight lake bungalow through them and they made sure all our transportation, luggage and travel logistics were completely taken care of.
We stayed in the Starlight room and it was perfect! We had a nice balcony overlooking the river and a comfortable bed with a mosquito net. We went in the hottest time of the year but had no trouble sleeping through the night without AC which we are not used to!

Loved our 2 night visit to the jungle (although my wife missed her air-conditioning since it was very humid.) Booked rubber tubing, lake day trip and bamboo rafting through the helpful reception team, all were great. Won't forget the baby monkeys playing in a tree and dropping into the river from a vine on our bamboo raft trip.

First we booked for 3 days and 2 nights, after coming there we wanted to stay here for a day more, cause it was very beautiful and welcoming.
The all around staff in the jungle house was super AMAZING, great, extremely nice and very helpful, the kinda staff you want in your work-place. The food was amazing, fast prepared, the drinks very delicious, the room clean every day ect.
I recommend this place because of all the beautiful people, their kindness, food and especially nature♡
