Probably one of my favorite places to eat whilst in Bangkok.
The service and food is always consistantly impeccable!

On this occasion we were honored to be guests of Ryuki Kawasaki who invited us to try his fabulous new recipes!

The tasting itinerary is absolutely sublime, all paired with with a memorable wine list. The sommelier was incredible and his choices simply perfect with every bite. We started with the oysters, I recommend the samurai gold. My favorite dish was the Niigata Murakami wagyu, still dreaming about this and it exceeded my expectations.

Outstanding view, atmosphere and experience. It deserves 3 stars. Top noch service.

The only thing I would improve is the dessert selection.

Ate here while staying in the Lebua hotel.

Absolute top notch service, absolute top notch food.

We had a seven course meal and I was blown away by five of the seven. A couple weren’t quite as good as I wanted.

The Kobe beef was unbelievable! I have read about it extensively but haven’t had it before, and it exceeded my expectations.

I’d go back!

I should have written a review for this restaurant since 2023 but, for some reason, didn't get a chance to. I remember this place fondly with good memories and joy. I will come back again next time.

Two Michelin stars fine dining restaurant with great atmosphere and a stunning view. I was a bit surprised by our course menu, which was Japanese cuisine, which I wasn't expected to have Asian cuisine. I was expected to enjoy Western cuisine, but the entire dinner was just incredible with various textures, flavours, and the best products. I loved every single dish.

Most excellent dining experience with very attentive and amazing staff. The sommelier deserves special mention - he was very thorough and knowledgeable, good sense of humour too, and told us many interesting facts and history of all of the wines. The pairings he recommended could not be more perfect! Food was amazing, dinner took about 3hrs start to finish so make sure you have time to spare. Lots of little surprises and extras too, apart from the 7 courses on the tasting menu. And they even included a surprise birthday cake for my fiance which was very thoughtful and unexpected! Cannot find a single fault, everything was delicious and top quality. The restaurant has very cold central a/c, may be useful to bring a shawl or a jacket. We met the chef de cuisine after dinner and had a short chat to thank him personally, he was a most humble and pleasant man. Definitely will be making a repeat visit. Very impressed.

When east meet west? The chef did a good job to redefine the meaning of this which he takes the flavor and delicacy from Japanese cuisine and the extract flavor from French technique to serve us this spring menu.

Each dish are well balanced, such that one could experienc the harmony between each ingredients.

Wine pairing are well managed, thus enhancing the flavor of each dish.

Staffs were friendly and knowledgeable .

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience fine dining at its best while in Bangkok.

Fantastic experience. Had the winter Menu and enjoyed every minute of it. I have to say the only thing that threw me off was the offering of champagne to start. $18000 baht a bottle. LoL no thanks.
Anyhow dinner was lovely with a bottle of Chablis. Paired perfectly with almost every course.

Such a spectacular restaurant with the most amazing views from the 65th floor! I had the "Season of Winter" tasting menu along with the premium wine pairing. Everything was delicious and the wine pairing was delightful.

I will definitely be back here the next time I'm in Bangkok. It's a pricey meal, but very much worth it!

Edit (July, 2022): I came back! This time was just as wonderful with the "Season of Summer" tasting menu!

The uni "pie" was spectacular, as was the Guinea Fowl & Foie Gras "Duo". The chocolate dessert had wasabi infused with the chocolate, which was unique and way more delicious than I thought it would be! 🤤😋

The service was amazing, of course. The wine pairing... *Chef's kiss*. Kudos to the sommelier! ☺👍👍

Definitely happy to come back, and I'm looking forward to trying another seasonal menu the next time I'm in Bangkok! 🙏🙏

Elevated dining experience that’s both enlightening and inspiring. From the time you arrive on the 64 floor, the staff is there to greet. They’re welcoming and happy to accommodate. We were led to our table with a few words of introductions. And the food journey begins; good pace and nicely orchestrated. Do the wine pairing. Spectacular view over looking the city with just the right ambience... I could do without the live symphony music. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Finish the night off with a takeaway gift bag of goodies and a copy of our menu (smart idea). Overall this made our trip to Thailand extra special, an unforgettable experience.

Had the pleasure to dine at Mezzaluna last week. It’s 2 star Michelin status and I think the restaurant is worthy of these stars. Amazing food, great service, and what a view from the 65th floor of the State Tower.
Special mention to the sommelier - a French gentleman with perfect execution on wine pairing and presentation. Also the wine cellar was exceptional, a hallmark of Michelin status restaurants.
Overall a brilliant restaurant. Yes its extremely expensive to dine here but I think worthwhile, especially for those who can enjoy and appreciate very high level wines. Recommended!

Probably one of the best restaurants in Thailand. Food is super delicious. The chef is a genius.
View from the restaurant is like a panoramic view of Bangkok.

The selection of wines is so good and they even serve Chateau Mouton Rothschild for the wine pairing.

The sommelier there has a Michelin award for sommelier.
Japanese chef cooking french with japanese ingredients, it's unreal.

But it's the best of all. I want to go again.

If you are not adventurous with taste, don't come here; after all the chef is Japanese, ingredients are Japanese, and all dishes cooked in a European style for the crowd in Bangkok. If you want innovation in taste, this is the place to be.

For the price you pay, service is impeccable, live musicians are great ( though sometimes playing fast Beethoven isn't exactly good for chewing, you might choke)

The food is very very very innovative. So there are definitely some that I can't understand due to my lack of cultural culinary knowledge.

Beef was great, both fishes served were paired beautifully with their sauces. Duck, foie gras and barley reminded me of home.

Couldn't understand scallop jelly, lobster and the complimentary tapas. Too complex for me.

The dish that perplexed me the most was the deer. It was tender to the bite, but as I chewed on it, it grew mushy. It's a very new experience to me for meat.

I was glad that the chef educated me about game meat. So the taste of the meat varies according to when the deer was killed and sent to the butcher; Sometimes deer that was killed earlier may only be sent to the butcher after 2 days. So it really depends on your luck. This gives a variety of taste and texture to the meat quality of the deer.

After educating me on the finer details on deer meat, I was given a complimentary glass of muscato. A brilliant touch and a crowd winner.

I love both deserts; one was made of rice, the other was made of 80% dark cacao with no sugar added. They were heavenly.

Oh oh they give you a special gift in a nice paper bag, some special salt and their menu in an envelope. It felt like a certificate for participating in a culinary adventure 😂

Would I come again? I would. But I won't be ordering cocktails. They are a tad expensive. After all they do make their own ice and probably need to make back their money on the ice machine🤔

I had my birthday dinner there and the food and the service was excellent. Many thanks to chef Ryuki Kawasaki for the menu creation, the presentation and the superb taste of every dish. The wine pairing suited every dish perfectly.

I’m having Summer menu of 2019, with tea paring (this is a really interesting choice for non alcoholic customer!) absolutely love it! Majority of food served on my course is on the salty side. Ambiance is very nice while i was there, with string quartered , Bangkok best panoramic view and a lovely service... totally recommended!

Service perfect. Food excellent. Only real complaint was the lobster was a tad bit over cooked. The desserts were like nothing i have ever tasted. Only thing i can recommend is don't eat too much bread no matter how delicious they may be. The most amazing part of this restaurant is how disciplined and quiet the kitchen was.
