A large off the beaten path victory monument. Entrance is free even for foreigners.
After climbing the monument you can enjoy the view over more rural Thailand and also visit a small shrine in the monument.
Really enjoyed my visit and when I went at 1 PM it was just me and two other visitors.
Some small van vendors sell food, drinks and worshipping supplies.

Love this temple! It was beautiful and absolutely worth a visit. I believe there are 79 steps to the top. Once you get to the top you can see the rice fields.
There is also a beautiful cafe to have fresh smooties after. So peaceful!
It is free to enter.

The temple has been under renovation but the pagoda is fully accessible. There is a small buddha statue room situated inside the top of the pagoda, which you can access from a small entrance.

This place is an epitome of beauty and human ingenuity. Buildings, sculptures that express beauty, can be seen by the human imagination. These Buddhist monasteries displayed happiness. The sculptures of the Buddha statue are amazing. We entered by taking five hundred baht tickets. The afternoon was hot so it was difficult to walk in the sun but it was nice to spend time in the six places.

Nice Temple with free entrance. We can climb 80 stairs to the top of it. From the top we can see really nice view of the surrounding. The toilet is clean.

Absolutely stunning temple and one of my favourites. It is much less busy than other Wats and it is free entry. You can walk up the temple for an absolutely fantastic view, just remember to stay on the path and not to climb up the restricted areas. Highly highly recommend visiting this Wat!

One of the most famous temples in Bangkok. Origsaw it across the river, glowing golden at night. On this trip, in February, I managed to visit. It's magical. It's so beautiful and tranquil.
I recommend it if you're in the city

I found this one has similar style as Wat Arun in Bangkok, but not like Wat Arun, here you are allowed to clim up higher for the view.
I love the area around this temple too, there are colorful houses nearby, green field, and fresh air too.
Tips: Don't wear black or white if you want to take photo with this temple.

Absolutely gorgeous white stupa surrounded by a small group of older ruins. Apparently it was recently restored, which (as a history nerd) was very rewarding - it's nice to see an example of what these beautiful monuments used to look like.
There were weirdly a ton of very loud chickens, birds, and adorable [Ayutthaya staple] dogs. Plus, *no one* else was there when we arrived towards the beginning of a beautiful sunset.

Stunning white temple. We got there by motorbike in maybe 15min from the city center. Part of the surroundings were flooded because of the heavy rain seasons but we managed to walk up and enjoy it.

The place it gives you good historical vibes and the Temple really looks majestic with its pure white color. Its the second kingdom of Thailand and the longest standing one from history before its ruin as of now.

12/2019 - we went to Ayutthaya to see the temples and there are many. This one was superwhite and in the day, my eyes hurt. From the top of the temple you got very nice view, so maybe sunset might be amazing. Go visit this place if you like temples and this specific architecture.

When I visited this temple, it was not being restored yet, so you can clearly see the effects of time. Like many others said, I too like this rare white 50-meters chedi, for being one of its kind in Ayutthaya. Built in 1387, it's surprising to find out that still an active monastery. Located outside from the ancient city, this wat has less tourists and we get to have the whole place to ourselves. Highly recommended.

This place was great with giant pagoda. There was steps from the ground to inside the pagoda. All angles were good for taking photos.

One of the better temples in Ayutthaya. Beautiful sights when climbing to the top.
The altar has fans.
Hardly any people around.
