Wayla Villa Maikhao Beach

What an amazing family run business. We stayed here the night before our flight back to UK. The owner was so helpful, and even insisted on paying for our taxi to the airport. The breakfast was brilliant, and most of all the service was amazing. I wish the owner and his family all the best!! Will definitely come and stay again!!

That was the nicest host we have had on our trip. Definitely a must if you stay at Mai Khao. Villa was super clean in beautiful Japanese style with focus on details and restaurant situated on the top. Meals were delicious and the staff were excellent, let us stay extra hours because our flight was in the evening. They really cared how we felt there and made sure we had a relaxing time.

My partner and I stayed for only two nights but were absolutely amazed by the hotel/restaurant. The staff was so kind and helpful and the food was the one of the best Thai food we had while traveling. We would surely come back! Thanks again for having us!

Location-wise, it was perfect for us as we had an early flight to catch. The host even drove us to the airport at 5.30 in the morning for free. We were very grateful. The room was spacious for the four of us. We were shocked when we saw there were actually four beds so everyone got their own bed. The room was very pretty. We love the stairs between the beds. The water pressure was great. There were two toilets and one shower. We also had fun swimming in the swimming pool. It was a 1.4 metre deep. There was halal restaurant near the hotel so it was convenient for us (Muslims) to get food. As we only booked here for a night and as a pit stop for our early flight, we could not really explore the area. We only went to the airplane viewing spot at Mai Khao Beach.

Great hotel run by a very nice family. They looked after us and helped us with everything. You can also borrow bicycles and get quickly to the beach. The room and the pool are as nice as in the pictures.
If you stay there, don't miss to eat in the restaurant. Lovely food.

Excellent stay at Wayla Villa. The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. The property itself was also excellent with a lovely pool, very friendly and accommodating staff, and an amazing restaurant. I would definitely recommend a stay here when in Phuket.

Even when you stay in another Hotel, try to get a table for the Restaurant on the rooftop.
The Service is fast and very friendly. The food was delitious and fresh cooked. My favorite was the garlic shrimps (with a feeled 1:1 ratio of garlic and shrimp), black pepper beef, chicken wings and a cold Chad of curse.

This hotel was everything I needed after three flights and a six hour time change. Clean rooms, lovely people, delicious food, and close proximity to the airport (but away from the noise and agitation of Phuket). Their airport pickup was there waiting to whisk us away, right where they said he would be, even though our flight was delayed. Thank you for everything!

Arrived in Phuket after 3 long flights from Europe to kick off our holidays throughout Thailand. This was the perfect pit stop and welcome to the land of smiles. Staff is soooo friendly and helpful. The food was great and the room was.... with the jetlag, I slept the best sleep of my adult life. Nice breakfast, quick swim in the super clean pool and off we went.

Family and solo travel friendly hotel! The owners are super nice! I enjoyed riding bike to the beach and Soi Dog! Room is very clean, well equipped, small fridge with water. Comfy bed, I slept so well! Yummy breakfast!

Excellent experience at villa! The beautiful rooms, picturesque landscape, delicious food, and wonderful people truly make it a perfect retreat!

Stayed here for a weekend. Booked the room through Airbnb. The room was lovely, clean and very spacious. The sofa corner was great to have in the room.
The restaurant in front, run by the same family, serves great food. Seafood is amazing and other dishes were very tasty too. No tourist food.
Service overall is great. The family is very attentive and makes you feel at home.
Mai Khao Beach is great for long walks and plane watching. The town is laid back and very different from central Phuket.

Food is fantastic, and so are the rooms. The Japanese style soaking tub was lovely. The hosts are wonderful and caring, I would absolutely come back. Thank you for having us!

We stayed 3 nights with our toddler based on the good reviews and had no regrets! We could walk (with stroller) to the beach, airplane viewing point and the soi dog foundation. The family running the villa were very kind to our toddler and really went the extra mile to ensure a comfortable stay. To top it off, the food was authentic and flavourful! Very lovely stay. Free airport pick up from the owner's father. Friendly family and a cute dog called Happy. The room was neat and clean, view was great, close to the airport and the beach. You can ride a bike to the beach and swim. The pool was also clean and beautiful, I enjoyed the stay very much.

Rooms are all differently themed, we got the Japanese one and it was awesome. Except that the bathtub isn't really holding water so we can't have that typical bathtub relax. Other than that, it was 10/10. You got to ride the bike provided by them to the beach FOC. If you want to go for a massage, they will also give you a ride to and back for free! It is a very family-friendly place but great for couples too and the food are seriously amazing, price are cheap for that quality of food and trust me, we stayed here only 1 night because we booked another hotel but we came back here three times just to eat their meals, it is THAT good. Especially if you like Thai food which means it is spicy. I am a Malaysian so spicy food is my thing. Worry not, their non spicy food also are all very great just that you got limited choice.

Fantastic place! My family and I enjoyed our recent stay there. The room is clean and food is very good. We highly appreciate the very helpful and attentive staff. They made us special take away breakfast on check-out as we had an early flight.

We stayed here a week, the owner and his family have been amazing the entire stay. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the pool is great.

We have been travelling around S.E Asia for a month now and this is the best place we have stayed. They go above and beyond for you. Gorgeous rooms, lovely pool, yummy restaurant and very close to the beach. You can rent bicycles from them for free!
