The allure of Royal Cliff Grande Hotel in Pattaya, Thailand, extends beyond its opulence. The sandy beach is an outstanding feature, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. The pools, with their captivating view over the sea, elevate the overall experience, offering a refreshing escape. As an extra touch of hospitality, my room welcomed me with a thoughtful gesture – a selection of fresh fruits, adding a delightful and personal touch to the stay. These subtle details contribute to the hotel's charm, making Royal Cliff Grande Hotel a distinguished choice for those seeking luxury and a memorable coastal retreat in Pattaya.

Great room and amenities in a secluded part of Pattaya. Services are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and relatively modern looking despite the actual age of the hotel. Breakfast have a wide range of choices. The only issue is that the location isn't walkable from Pattaya City centre and the shuttle service is only free for a single trip per guest. Parking for guests is also not great during events in the PEACH venue.

I only came here for Rotary meeting, so did not stay. However, I did get to see the terrace and the ballroom and the Rotary meeting rooms. They were all very exquisite and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. They did make sure to move me along when I was Checking out the poolside areas, but that makes sense. Peace, DeaconJoshua

Saturday Evening Grand BBQ Buffet
Every month’s last Saturday Royal Cliff Grand Hotel spreads out a lavish buffet with sushi, Indian cuisine, Thai cuisine, grilled seafood and meats, lovely salads, delicious desserts and much more. With price of BAHT 1650 per person (excl drinks) definitely worth visiting.

A very fancy hotel. If you want peace and quiet with 5-star surroundings, then this is your resort. I really appreciated the friendliness and kindness shown by Nattaphong (front desk) and Art (doorman) :-)

My trip to the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya was truly amazing! This hotel left a lasting impression on me.

The space at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel is beautiful and comfortable. My family and I had a fantastic and relaxing time here. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The staff was always ready to assist us with anything we needed.

Apart from enjoying the beautiful beach and sand, we also participated in exciting activities like snorkeling and exploring the nearby attractions. One noteworthy aspect was the diverse and delicious food menu at the hotel's restaurants.

To visit Pattaya, the best time is from November to February when the weather is usually warm and pleasant. This allows you to fully enjoy the beach and outdoor activities.

Regarding expenses, it depends on the type of room and services you choose, but the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya offers various options to suit your budget.

One suggestion to improve the quality of service is to enhance the efficiency of staff at the restaurants and bars to reduce waiting times.

Overall, this trip left us with unforgettable memories and immense joy. If you are considering a visit to Pattaya, then the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya is a great choice for an exciting vacation.

We had the privilege of staying at the Royal Cliff Beach Terrace in Pattaya from October 28th to November 18th, 2023, and it was an extraordinary experience. The direct sea view from our room was breathtaking – witnessing the sunset daily was like living a dream. The staff made our stay special with their incredible kindness and professionalism. The rooms were not only well-equipped but also consistently immaculate. The fitness center impressed us with its high-quality equipment and professional setup. This experience was so remarkable that we've decided to only stay at Royal Cliff Beach Terrace for our future visits. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable stay!
Special thanks to the hotel barservice Wilasinee, this girl is working for 10 and is always so nice. Really perfect

When reviewing 5 star hotels, it's always a but difficult because it's the little things that separate a 4 star hotel from a 5 star.

The amenities are great. The pools have great views and are very clean. The morning breakfast easily makes top 3... great selection and quality. There are multiple restaurants, and the prices were better than expected. The kids play area in the front is well staff and more importantly the kids loved it. The beach is as expected.

Things that detract from the 5 star experience. The rooms need some small fixes, including some burnt out bulbs. The grounds need a bit cleaning (plastic debris in fountains.) The kids ice cream parlor seemed haphazardly staffed. If a room sleeps 4 people and there is only a single bed, it's absurd to charge for a cot. All of the hot tubs were out of service.

It's right at the beach around 5 minutes away from the walking street by vehicle. There is a shortcut to even walk and get there in about 20 minutes

The rooms are spacious enough . Our room was on the 11th floor and you can lie down on the bed and just watch the sea. Amazing view. Ample lifts. The services are quick.

A resort with great views. We had lunch at the Maharani - their Indian food restaurant which was quite good. A bit busy- but the service was polite and responsive.

Best property in Pattaya, good ambience & superb views. It's located just by the beach with easy access. If you are looking for an upscale property then it's a good choice!

I stayed in this hotel for company trip. The overall experience is superb.

The facility offered by the hotel is top notch. You can choose to swim in two swimming pool in the hotel. One of it is infinity pool. You can also enjoy shuttle car and gym facility.

The view from the hotel room is also amazing as it directly pointed to Pattaya bay.

This is probably the best hotel I've stayed in in Thailand. And the best hotel I've stayed in in a long time. Built about 50 years ago, this hotel has seen alot of facelifts and additions since the 1970s. Its still has the grand-ness of the 70s. Opulent marble floors and sturdy wooden bannisters and staircases. Huge chandeliers, bespoke art and the tiny amenities so many modern hotels overlook. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

PROS:
- Too many to count!
- Private, clean beach with loungers.
- Excellent views over the peninsula and out to sea.
- 4 swimming pools + lifeguards.
- 4 onsite bars and 6+ restaurants (maybe more).
- extensive, fresh quality breakfast buffet.
- trendy pool bar.
- see-through infinity pool.
- super-fast wifi 480mbps+
- spacious and clean rooms with huge bathtubs and free bottled water.
- friendly staff and onsite security.
- price is worth it if you book in advance.
- free daily copy of The Bangkok Post.
- allows grab mart + food deliveries.
- live bands and events + happy hours.

CONS:
- Honestly, these are minor things, but I always thing even the best hotels can always improve.
- A few extra pillows in each room would be handy.
- Onsite bars and restaurants are expensive e.g. 230thb for small Chang. The location is worth it but if you time your happy hours you can take more advantage of this.
- Breakfast buffet is great - perhaps a discount for guests staying 2 or more nights?
- There is a shuttle into Pattaya city from the hotel. It is more expensive than a Grab ride. For the price you pay to stay at Royal Cliff, the shuttle should be free.
- A few more directional signs around the property to help guests find their way would be helpful 😀

Nice resort perched on the cliff side just outside Pattaya main town area. More secluded and private in feeling and offering facilities across several properties all owned by the same royal cliff group. The hotel rooms are nice. We booked the Grand and given it was our honeymoon they decorated the room making for a nice pleasant surprise on entry. Restaurants were good although not all open since Covid. The beach and pools are lovely but even we visited in December sometimes getting a sun lounger proved challenging. The only issue with the rooms was the bathroom toilet was hard to flush and the sound proofing was minimal. Television also had controls over the volume probably to ensure guests don’t upset neighboring rooms, however this may prove problematic to the elderly or hard of hearing. In general I’d score the property as five but the staff and management at four. Sometimes we were left waiting when entering restaurants to had to get our own menus and find seats or wait for an age to get service. Easy to fix problems but should be addressed to complete the five star experience. Language is sometimes also a problem for westerners.

Thank you for such a fantastic quality of service. Overall everything is excellent, and the view is stunning. It was a nice getaway from a busy Bangkok with a great relaxing experience. We love the private beach and the ocean view. We are both appreciated and are looking forward to our next stay at the hotel.
