Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok

A truly incredible experience. The Kimpton is a fantastic hotel that is hard to beat. It is incredibly well ran, with the closest attention to detail whilst still being relaxing. The check-in process was efficient and professional and we were made to feel v welcome. The room is fantastic. Spacious, with a wonderful bed, smart lighting and a beautiful view of the city. The bathroom was huge and the amenities were good. The gym was high quality and again professional, and the pool at night was a lovely experience.

This is our new favorite hotel in Bangkok. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating and the suite is very spacious and massive.

They really made sure my mum who is celebrating her birthday was made feel special by preparing a cake and some sweets in our suite when we arrived.

The gym is quite large for a hotel and I enjoyed every minute of it. They also have a very nice pool on the same floor. Having a dog friendly cafe at the lobby is one of the many things we love about this hotel.

We are definitely coming back here once we’re back in Bangkok. Thank you for all the staff for taking care of us.

I have stayed at my fair share of upmarket hotels. This place is absolutely stunning. A joy to experience. Great service, great rooms, everything works, everything is taken care with attention to detail. Best breakfast buffet I ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I came here for business purposes but definitely come for a private trip as well.

Good location, but you may need consider traffic jam in nearby streets.
Hotel rooms are nice, comfort, and fashion.
All the staffs are really nice and helpful.
Food is great, tasty and there are various choices, price also at a reasonable level.
Stayed here for many times, I will come back again when I visit Bangkok next time.

Fantastic hotel! Absolutely amazing, and very luxurious. I was staying at this hotel for a few days for work, but would have no issue coming back here for personal. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are spectacular! Good customer service as well. The pool area is pretty nice and the gym is top-notch! Several different restaurant choices, including a pretty amazing breakfast buffet option as well. Highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the area.

This is a great hotel! It’s comfy and gives off good vibes, it’s a modern style. The services are great-the food service is really yummy, you can order amenities that you maybe forgot to take with you like for example nail kit, tweezers and etc… The hotel rooms are really clean and comfortable. Also the breakfast is great, all the food is amazing, there is a ton of stuff to choose from (it’s also a buffet by the way), the WiFi works well. This hotel is a good choice if you’re in Bangkok!!

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. Staff is incredible nice, rooms are luxurious and spacious with amazing city views. The pool is great to freshen up after a long day exploring the city or a good way to wake up in the morning.
The breakfast is definitely the best one we have ever experienced. So many options, you just wish you could eat more! We will for sure be back!

Beautiful new hotel located conveniently to shops, restaurants, attractions and parks. The buffet breakfast options are endless and the welcome drinks by the infinity pool were lovely. The views from Bar Yard on the 40th floor were awesome.

Beautiful dog friendly hotel in the the center of Bangkok. Convenient location in a walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets and department stores. Very clean and modern room and out of the world breakfast buffet.

Just WOW !! I have never been to such a nice hotel. The staff is exceptional and the room + view was immaculate. They speak fluent english and are extremely helpful. The rooftop bar also gives a breathtaking view of Bangkok. I will definitely come back to Kimpton when I'm in the city.

Fresh. Great location. Calm & clean, far cry from the bustle of the Bangkok while still being close to all the action. All the amenities you could need.

No request was too big for the front desk. Seriously.

What a great property! The rooms, restaurants, amenities and above all the staff.. incredible. stayed for 3 nights in the Premium rooms which are absolutely sensational.
Their biggest asset is their staff. From front office, restaurant to housekeeping everyone always eager to help and nothing is too difficult. Special mention: Porter AE simply amazing. He helped us in organizing cars for local visits as well as airport transfers.
Breakfast spread is one of the best in Bangkok. Many light and healthy options, plus they cater to variety of health/religious dietary styles.

Will be staying here again.

Couple of minor issues:
Elevators are too slow.. for a large property we found that the number of elevators are inadequate and there is always a wait. Recommend to get room away from the lift lobby as they can be noisy.

Location: It is a fair bit walk from Chitlom BTS, if you are planning of taking the public transport to avoid Bangkok traffic. Their hourly shuttle service is good alternative but feel they should run that more frequently and till later in the evening.

We arrived at the Kimpton during the Christmas period, for 2 nights in room 2012, a period which is not ideal for taking full advantage of the hotel due to its overcrowding. I made a constructive comment, which was immediately taken on board by the hotel manager. I have to admit that it's at times like these that the quality of true hotel professionals shines through. The customer service was impeccable and the rooms magnificent. The café, located on the ground floor, has a beautiful terrace with a lovely view of the garden, and the rooftop is very good too. Even when it was very busy, the quality of the breakfast was exceptional, with good fresh juices. thank again to Songpol du voisin the hotel manager

Have to say as one of the best hotel ever stayed. Although the arrival, check-in wasn’t as smooth and took long time to finish and the late check-out had been unwillingly offered even with the IHG, staffs are attentive and professional. Room, facilities are unmatched. And can’t be more generous breakfast !

The hotel of stars! Very charming place. It has a sprawling garden. Lots of food choices. The rooms are spacious, clean, hi-tech, modern and stylistic. I fell in love with Kimpton Maalai and I hope to stay again here.

There’s a reason I love Kimpton hotels and the Kimpton Maa Lai did not disappoint. Came here for a two night stay to begin my honeymoon and had the best time I didn’t want to leave. They graciously upgraded us to a HUGE suite and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire hotel is so clean, updated and top notch. The infinity pool is beautiful, the gym was amazing, and the breakfast was quite literally the best I have ever seen and tasted. I have been to a lot of luxury 5 star hotels all over the world and I swear this was the most extensive breakfast buffet with premium quality items. The staff is so beyond kind and provided amazing service. I really can’t recommend this hotel enough and would come back in a heartbeat.

check in by Pim is very fast and smooth with no obstructions and they gave welcome drink while waiting for the check in. housekeeping was on point and the housekeeper were very gentle and go the extra mile to add additional items to our rooms and bathrooms. check out by Tak is also very fast and smooth. the luggage handler were also very promt and handle our luggage with care. 100% recommend to stay and I will come back soon. truly a 5 star hotel that live up to it’s standard.

It's the luxury lifestyle hotel , full with facilities and surrounded by the greenery view. Room is very big and comfortable. While you can enjoy with the pets- friendly zone 🐈‍⬛🐕🦮🐈. Foods are very yummy and yes,service is very great ! The nice hotel to recommend!!!

I was there for afternoon tea on Chinese new year. Love the decoration and all the details. So many kinds of tea and pastries to try. Love it! With the view from 30th floor, the best!
