This hotel was so relaxing and stunningly beautiful. Yes, it is away from everything and that’s exactly what we loved most. The views and peaceful solitude are definitely worth it!

Immediately upon arrival and a super easy checkin, we were offered a cool cloth and delicious juice. The friendly staff member escorted us to our gorgeous room and we were so impressed with the view we didn’t want to leave.

Eventually, we went to the incredible pool near the restaurant/bar and swam as the sun was setting. Again, the view is spectacular! The restaurant and bar staff members were all VERY attentive and always came over to ask if we’d like anything. We enjoyed wonderful cocktails as we swam and while listening to the birds.

We stayed for three days and we loved every minute of our time. The restaurant is gorgeous and the food and cocktails are delicious.

professional, very kind and anticipated our needs before we even asked. We’ve never expedited such professional service in all our travels. They all made us feel very welcome. We hope to visit again!

You don’t want to miss this special place. It’s much more than a hotel, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

P.S. Be sure to schedule an outdoor (private) Thai massage with the receptionist. The massage therapists are wonderful and very talented at determining where you need the most stretching and massage. They also provide you with a very comfortable set of loungewear so you are fully clothed and very comfortable.

Beautiful hotel with wonderful villas and great views of beautiful Khao Yai. We stayed in a private pool villa which was gorgeous, and we paid for a private barbecue served right on top of our villa. Excellent breakfast, kind professional staff.

Booked the villa option. There was a pool along with its own outdoor dining area as well as a private onsen. The staff welcomed us with a beautiful butterfly pea drink. The room is exquisite in a blush pink and minimal tone. There is a bathtub set in beige colored stone. There is also a rooftop area for each villa to have drinks during the sunset. Room service works until late especially for the drinks.

You might be visited by some critters, we had some small red ants and a small gecko. But all part of the tropical experience.

The room was a great choice for urbanites looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life. It was private and relaxing, with excellent food. The view from the room was simply stunning, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge energy.

Beautiful private villa with great service! Food is also very nice! The view is amazing. I love the rooftop couch which can see the mountain view during sunset. They also have infinity pool (public) on top of private pool at each villa.
Good place for have weekend gateaway at Khao Yai! Will come back again for sure.

Excellenct service! Staffs help to peel welcome fruits and decorate the dish beyond my expectation. The guards clean our car after the night-rain seems as a new one.
Only location on the hill-top, far from everythings.

We availed of the private BBQ dinner at our villa and although the set up was swift and complete, we hoped there would be someone to walk us through the offerings and how to proceed with the grilling. Aside from this our stay was very pleasant and we would want to come visit again during our next trip to Thailand.

Best vacation of our lives. We are not what would be considered wealthy by American distorted standards but we are comfortable enough to have saved for that vacation for several years.
The people were amazing and friendly and would go out of their way to be helpful in any way they could. The food was outstanding and we thought it was some of the best food on the entire trip.
Even travel to the hotel was interesting and fun. We loved every minute of our time in Thailand and South East Asia.
I have recommended to my friends and family to put Thailand on their bucket list and if they go to stay here.

Nice facility. Love the details of everything here. Nice service. We have fluffy 4 legs visitor at night but he means no harm. Maid will come clean your outdoor facility every morning (all dry leaf in cabana and pool but still the pool has dirt and dust anyway). Breakfast is just fine. Now they have a promo 15%discount for you next stay at any SALA.

Me and my family having a great time over a new year night. The place was so private up on the hill.

I would say it a little far to go out to seek for a restaurant but you can rather spend time with their the restaurant. Thai food was incredibly delicious.

The facilities was not so much but beside the private pool and jacuzzi, there’s also an infinity pool where u can hangout around 5 with the view.

Each villa has a personal butler.
So I think it fit with family and couple which I highly recommend.

Excellent escape from the city life! Mind relaxing and fully heal from all the toxic, noise pollution, and busy life in bkk.

The bed and the pillow are incredible, I ended up changing all my bed accessories to be the same brand.

Service is great, all staff are friendly; especially the dining team.

The room was clean and very well organise. I don’t mind the small insect in the room (we are living in the mountain, it’s normal)

If you want ease of food access, night life, bustling streets this may not be a place for you. But if you are looking for tranquility, peace, and romantic place to spend with someone special, this resort is definitely one of the consideration. Located at a secluded hill top, it provide a panoramic view of Khaoyai. Check in is at the roof of your room, while you walk down a flight of stairs to access to your private room with a private pool with a view. Dinner menu maybe limited but its quality vs quantity. After dinner, laze around your roof top to admire a sea of stars.

Hilltop restaurant: Awesome view/ambience at night for dinner in candlelight and moonlight. Pasta was delicious and they follow instructions for vegetarian option. Weather is cool even in summer and they have a wide pool which is nice to even just look at. Attentive staff and on the expensive side. I would want to use their room next time.

I Love The Ambiance so much specially the smell of the tree in the night and morning when you wake up .Very Accomodating staff for assisting the guest.

The place is comfortable and the ambience is great.. food is tasteful and accomodation is spaceful and clean.

Great panoramic 360-degree views

The Sala Khao Yai is a fantastic destination, with private villas excellent! It was probably the nicest resort either of us has ever stayed at.

Food - Great BBQ set. Plenty of choices with excellent friendly and charming service- staff recognized us.
Villa - The villa itself is beautiful with every convenience you could hope for and panoramic 360-degree views from hilltop! Incredibly quiet place to relax.

Service - I cannot compliment this resort enough, the service is excellent, staff here are always so polite and happy.
