A bit too hot for outdoor lunch in this season. Grilled river prawn is always the best here. The deep fried sheatfishes should not be missed as well.

Amazing place. It was a good weather day when I was there, so it was cooling and nice at 3pm. Had a great late lunch. This is the place which does not take reservations of tables and the only reservation is for their giant river prawns. Remember to make reservations for the prawns so you are not disappointed.

Definitely the best place for river prawn in Thailand. The prawns were humongous, juicy, and tasty. You have to call in advance to reserve the number of prawns. The rest of the seafood dishes were amazing as well. Everything was reasonably priced. We didn't have to wait that long for the food to come out.

Located on the riverside of Wat (temple) Choenglane. Good view and nice weather. Plenty of seats but recommended to call for reservation especially during weekend or holidays.
Famous for giant river prawn with reason and acceptable price. Freshness, quality and cooking of grilled giant river prawn is great (highly recommended go for biggest size available), however other menus frankly are average.

Ohh WOW! Such great shrimp. Huge and flavorful. I've never had shrimp legs before and I thought it was crab legs at first, then my wife laughed at me. Dining at the edge of the river was very scenic and beautiful, with nearly no flies that bother you. I only had to swap at one, once. The coconut and pandan leaf cake was absolutely superb. Soft and fluffy, without being overly sweet. The best cake I've had in recent memory.

An amazing experience here eating on top of a fish farm. We enjoyed the delicious river prawns, crab fried rice and garlic pork ribs. Everything was delicious. We even got to feed the fish for 10 bth.
This is a great place if you are travelling to and from Bangkok and Ayutthaya.

Everything was yummy! River shrimp is so fresh and big! Other shrimp dishes are also great! Atmosphere, taste and service are all satisfying and I will definitely come again whenever visiting Ayuttaya.

My no.1 grilled river prawn. Recommend to call and book prawn in advance. This time i visited on Sanday 11.00 and not too crowded. Staff is very helpful & attentive. We ordered so many dishes, stir fried veggie, fried river prawn with salt (small size & highly recommended), shrimpcake. Portion is good compared to the price. They do have promotion with uob credit card as well.

We drove from Bangkok for 1. 5 hrs to try the famous river prawns, and we were not disappointed. Delicious, fresh food, good portions, attentive service and exceedingly reasonable prices. I'd recommend this restaurant to everyone who may visit Ayutthaya. It'll be a satisfying meal and a unique dining experience.

River prawns was so fresh and flavorful, highly recommended. Other menus were so good, especially fried shrimp cake.

Definitely lives up to its name: “best giant river prawn in Ayutthaya.” The prawn on its own is packed with rich flavors, even without the aromatic seafood sauce. The view is spectacular: you are seated right next to the Chao Phraya river. Although you have to reserve the giant river prawns in advance, it is definitely worth it.

A must do here is RIVER PRAWNS 🦐 which is available for reserve in advance.
They are fresh. Natural sweet. Others Thai food are great taste too. Simple atmosphere. Open-air seats.

Must pre-order the giants river prawn a few days before visit. Else risk of the store running out of river prawn. The queue is very long especially during the weekend. On average, we have to wait around 15 to 20 minutes. My favorite dish is not the whole river prawn grilled, but the stir fry giant river prawn with garlic. Very delicious, and best eaten with rice. Besides the river prawn, the store also serves very delicious seafood dishes. Such as Tom yum soup, whole fried fish and fried rice. It's only about an hour drive from Bangkok, so a nice place to take your family out.

Best place for Big Shrimp 🦐 comes with price if you pre book you get 669 baht per piece with nice grilled. Garlic shrimp 🍤 and dry fish are good. Many parking spaces but early lunch would be perfect time.

This is my fist time here ,i used to go once but could not get in there because too many Queue but this time is a weekday i come with my family in december 23 it s very good moment to be here nice weather 20 celious prox. Prawn is very good price 3 medium size just 9xx Baht is surprise me much 😊 i order 4 alacarte menu so just 1700
baht my MOM is so Happy

Top dish : Deep fired fish

The Restaurant is on the riverbank behind the temple. You will find it on the terrace overlooking the river. They serve a delicate Thai cuisine and most were delicious. Initially, we were worried about the time they would serve, according to the number of the table. However, the food was served very promptly with quality. We enjoy the food along with the river filled with fish and the nearby temple.

I’ve been here for more than 10 times and keep coming back and bring more people to eat here. Very good local food & grilled river prawn with reasonable price. Always very crowded but usually have some seats for you since the place is quite large. Recommend river prawn and stir fried lotus branch.

You can call in advance for big river prawn reservation (days in advance). But the small prawn were something not to miss as well. With the good price and good taste with generous amount of prawn, I think it’s good enough if you missed the big one.

A must-try! Highly recommended for an amazing seafood lunch/dinner. The king river prawns might run out so it’s best if you pre-book them. Everything was delicious, you can never go wrong eating in Thailand.
