Shambala Restaurant

One of the best places I've ever been in Thailand.
Great atomsphere, great food, very good prices. We had lunch and it was genuinely homemade and the fish super fresh.
Recommended!

Gem of a restaurant, food is equally great as the ppl work here. We got Red curry and it was simply the best, 2 was mild so choose 4 and above if u want it spicy. Place for food hungry not ambience hungry, so highly recommended and value for money. +1 for the music :)

Delicious and inexpensive - I had vegetable fritters, green curry and rice as well as a pineapple juice, and it was all fantastic. Staff were friendly and pleasant and service was quick. I only had one night in Samui and I’m glad I got dinner here. Highly recommend.

Absolutely delicious food with great service. I had the Shambala curry and ordered it level 4 spicy and it was a perfect mix of flavour and spice! Cheesecake for dessert was a nice finishing touch after. Thanks so much for a great meal!

Some of the best food we have eaten in Samui, the fried rice is fluffy, super tasty. The satay sticks delicious and the chicken beautifully soft. Garlic pepper chicken amazing. Not too oily at all. Really happy.

Really Thai tasty food. They provide from 1 to 5 the spicy you want the dish. The massaman Curry is delicious. Cheap prices and good amount of food. The photo about the bill can be an option for 2 people.

Really tasty homemade food, friendly local staff and very good prices. Probably the best tom yum seafood soup i ever had. Also the cocktails are awesome.

Right amount of spice for me at Level 3.

Location is not fancy but that's not what i am looking for.

Masaman the best I ever had. Remember that it takes some time to be prepared and that time is well worth it

If you want a Thaistyle spaghetti arrabiata take shambala curry with pasta, little hint of lime.

Very good inexpensive food but high quality. Can recommend tom yam soup, pad thai, fish with herbs, seafood curry in coconut, and coconut milkshake. Cash only.

Great food for the real thai experience. They adjust the spice per our needs. The herb fried fish is amazing.

Great place with an amazing view on the Big Buddha. Delicious food, especially the prawn tempura and the shambala curry specialty.

A very good and simple restaurant close to Big Buddha temple. I really like the table with a view. :) Green curry was wonderful. Recommended.

Excellent Thai restaurant, the food is delicious and great value, not expensive like a lot of the Thai restaurants on samui these days, we’ve been here many times and will be back many times.

What a gem of a local restaurant! Cute setting, super tasty, fresh food, very reasonably priced. Been there probably 10 times in the last 2 months :) No MSG and lots of vegetarian options. My favorite is there own shambala curry with Tofu. Must try!

Fabulous local Thai food. They have Western dishes as well but ignore them and go for their curries. Their special Shambala curry is awesome! The owners are delightful as well. A real gem with some of the best Thai food I've had.

Nice place for late night plane spotting. Food no doubt is really good!
