Very happy with this restaurant.
The food is great! Big proportions and not expensive. The staff are all very nice and the service is very good. Although the restaurant was pretty busy the food and drinks came out really quick.
Keep up the good work. See you soon again

A new place for us to try as the restaurant we intend to visit was closed. The Mother stepped up. The menu is Thai, Chinese, and European so all tastes are covered. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I don't think this restaurant was here when we last visited but I can't be sure if that. The food was full of flavour (we had Thai) and this can be cooked to your spice preferences. Remember Thai spice has fire!
Would return again when in Koh Samui.

Fried fish with garlic and the morning glory was delicious (Aroy-D!).

Staff was super friendly. Held onto our luggage while we walked around and provided a taxi service to airport for a reasonable price.

Friendly personal and absolutely delicious food! Really, their pad kra pao or tom yum or chicken cashew was the best we tried on Samui. Also if you say you want spicy food, they give you like thai spicy level and this is the best! Thank you and see you next year :)

The service and Thai dishes in „the mother restaurant“ are absolutely amazing. The best experience we had in Thailand so far.

We had Curry, Pad Thai, Fish, Soup and all the dishes were superb. For seafood this place is definitely a recommendation.

Local Thai food at a very high level!! Excellent pad thai, top yum soup, if you want to eat cheap food and you are in a nearby hotel this is the place! Excellent service and really, really delicious food!!!! recommend🍤🍛🍲🥟🍜😍

Took Tom Yum for dinner and fried rice with chicken for take away. Both was good. But in Tom yum were too much ginger and onion. It's common for locals but bad for Europeans. Looks like it's more tourist place because food was not even spicy at all.
Prices are affordable, or even lower than usual.

Highly recommend coming here for lunch or dinner. The fried fish is the best fish I have ever eaten, all the food is so fresh & delicious. Definately get the pineapple rice & the king prawns! The service is amazing, staff are so friendly and happy. We loved it so much we went for lunch two days in a row. Thank you Choy & team 🙏🏼

Never miss Tom Yam Soup with seafood and red curry here.
We have also tried the grilled prawn, which is so delicious 🤤

I had an amazing dining experience at The Mother Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The portions were generous. Plus, the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this gem for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine at such an affordable price. Much better than the other Thai restaurants in this area.

Service was incredibly fast and enjoyable.
They spoke very good English .
The green and red thai curries were amazing and they gave us a complimentary dessert.
Was very well priced and would highly recommend.

The best food in Choengmon! 😋😋 The panang curry, chicken with cashew nuts (pictured), chicken with ginger and chilli, and pad see ew were delicious. We were really pleasantly surprised. Fun atmosphere and great food, thank you!

Highly recommended to dine here. The owner and his staff are extremely customer oriented. Food is delicious and well presented . Seabass is fresh and we enjoyed all other dishes. Dined here 2 nights in a row and wished we had discovered this place earlier. Kudos to the team at The Mother Restaurant for giving us a pleasant dining experience. From Pop & family.

My wife and I had dinner here and it was great! The lobster and sea bass were exceptional. Very friendly staff and good prices for fresh seafood. We will be back!

The seafood was very fresh, prepared very well and arrived quickly after we ordered. The service here is very high. It started with giving us mosquito spray if we wanted it. I saw a few flying around but they didn't bother me. Then the staff was exceptionally friendly. They offered to take photos for us. The table was set with high quality plates, silverware and real cloth napkins! After eating the fantastic food, they gave us a nice treat for dessert. Definitely stop here.

Dined for dinner. We shared fish cakes, penang chicken curry & vege fried rice. All the food was tasty & one of the cheapest Thai restaurants we ate at during our 2 week holiday in Samui. They also gave us a complimentary banana fritter & ice cream dessert. Staff friendly & welcoming.

I can't believe we liked every single dish that we ordered. Wow. Charred veggies, Tom yum soup, glass noodle salad, fried wontons, steamed mussels in the clay pot, steak, french fries, the Mai Tai.. The fried red snapper. And then free dessert ( coconut ice-cream was the creamiest I've had on the island) fried banana and mango and sticky rice. Literally almost every basic Thai, Western and seafood dish you could want. Also the food came out FAST.
