OUTSTANDING!! I highly recommend this Italian restaurant! The manager Oliver and owner Camilla are absolutely amazing. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel welcomed and attended to. The service was exceptional, and the food was beyond delicious! I have been to many Italian restaurants but this one is honestly one of the best I have ever tried in my life! Every dish was prepared with great care and attention to detail. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. I can't wait to visit again!

A slice of Italy on this island which really delivered! Everything is fresh, we had the mussels, a lovely steak, spaghetti with lobster and tiramisu. Do try the torta at the end - amazing!

I had an amazing experience at an Italian restaurant in Thailand. Oliver, our server, did a fantastic job. The food was delicious, the wine list offered high quality options from around the world, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommend!

First, Camila and Oliver are two amazing people who provide an indescribable service experience. And after they made us feel like we were in their private dining room, dishes started coming out at a crazy level with the highest quality ingredients I got to taste. And all with the modesty and smile of charming people. Without a doubt, it was an outstanding culinary experience in a well-kept and homely place.

We had one of the most memorable dining experience. The host Camilla made us feel so welcomed and sat us at a waterside table with magnificent views over the water and capturing the sun as it set.
The food was exceptional and the atmosphere so warm and personal.
We will definitely dine here again.

This entry is a mashed of 2 of my visits 2 years apart. All in all very good experience is guaranteed whenever you're here.
I was at Salefino during the very early days when tourists are slowly coming back on the island, so here goes my first visit after they moved the restaurant a bit after the new renovation. The same vibe is still there; very nice atmosphere, but it can cater more guests. Wine list is still very decent. We only came for the drinks and some nibbles, and it was a perfect night out for us. Recommended for anyone looking for a sunset view with good food, good drinks and an evening out where it's not too crowded. Would come back if I'm in the neighborhood again

The second time was just a few days ago during the high season of Koh Samui, we were lucky to get a table because it was full house! Congrats to the owner and the whole team.
We liked everything that was recommended that night, especially the vongole linguine with bottarga. Service was pleasant, wines were wonderful, dessert was a big hit. Not to mention that we stayed a little longer than their closing time(sorry guys) and witnessed a very lovely birthday surprise of one of the staff of the restaurant. You could see that the staff are really part of their team and treated very nicely. Good to see this kind gestures from the management and it is truly something that I honestly think makes their business stands out from others. Can't recommend enough of this place, a must visit!

The food is amazing! The ingredients are fresh and top-quality. The dishes are traditional and authentically Italian. They even make their own, ridiculously delicious, Arancello from scratch (it's takes 1 month—I asked). It goes without saying that their wine selection is excellent.

But, what really sets Salefino apart is how you feel being there. I took my mom for her birthday, along with a friend, and from the moment we walk in to the moment we left a few hours later, we felt like we were having diner at Oliver and Camila's home. Their positivity and personal touch made us feel special, like we were part of their family. But it wasn't just us, I observed that they did the same for every table that night, providing individualized service, making people feel special. I want to highlight that it wasn't just Oliver and Camila though, their entire local staff were so nice and welcoming and provided a wonderful experience.

If you want authentic Italian food made with love, and great service, you must try Salefino!

The most romantic restaurant in Samui. Oliver is a great host and his team is well trained and professional.

Most importantly the view and finally the food is phenomenal.

Highly recommended the pasta dishes and octopus.
If your on a date try and get a table by the ocean.

Only critique is the lights turned down 10% would make the intimate experience even better.

Beautiful restaurant, beautiful location and wonderful dinner! Enjoyed all their fantastic Italian menus, especially the clams and mussels in white wine sauce - personal highlight! Service was attentive and always extra was Oliver- the passionate restaurant manager. The chef was also super nice to come out of the kitchen and greet all patrons as well as asking how the food was. Absolutely loved the ambiance, the food and the drinks here - all indulgent and delicious.

What an experience, this is so much more then just another Italian restaurant, this is top service and top food, this is a little magic gem on Koh samui. From the warm welcome from Oliver till the goodbye from Camilla, the Italian chef. Best of the best of the best... I love good restaurants, but this an experience not to forget

Charming little restaurant by the sea. We had the sardines, Al fungi pasta, seafood pasta, vongole pasta and grilled whole fish. Every dish is delicious. Advisable to make reservation before going down.

You know when you’re invited to a dinner at someone house and you are deciding what bottle of wine to bring to match the hosts appreciation of the wine? In other words why bring an expensive bottle to someone that doesn’t have the knowledge of wine….well bring the 1990 Petrus to this place! That’s the review that’s it! 🙏🏼

Best Italian restaurant in Koh Samui. The food is only the best, the main dish are those who belongs to the best of Italian cuisine, the pasta is the best, well cooked ("al dente"), the ingredients are fresh and very ell cooked, Camilla, the chef, showed her experience and her love for the Italian food in her menu. Oliver takes care of you when you get in the restaurant, professional, easy going and very helpful in case you don't know what to order (I would take the entire menu), the service also is very accurate and professional. The ambience is breathtaking, just on the sea with a wonderful view on the surrounding harbor, it is a perfect place for a romantic dining. I will be back again as I do every time I visit Koh Samui.

Beautiful sunset. Staff was super nice. The manager was very kind and attentive. All appetizers and main dishes we had were tasty. The panna cotta’s the best one I’ve had in a long time. The chef even came out of the kitchen to greet us on our way out. Highly recommended!

Our first fine dining experience on the island, excellent food with attention to details. Simply amazing and enjoyable journey for our taste buds. Price is higher then other joints, but definitely worth every Baht. Will definitely come back

Beautiful Italian restaurant that will make you feel at home. Simple little place overlooking the sea, and it's simplicity is what makes it perfect. The host and chef make you feel special and then the food is the cherry on the cake. Deeeeeelicious! You have to go.
