Sunshine Beach Bar

Sunshine Beach Bar opened just a few weeks ago. The restaurant has an excellent location on Bang Por beach with great views across to Koh Phangan.

The restaurant has a pool table.

We really enjoyed the food. The menu is popular Thai dishes, at very reasonable prices. Well presented and very tasty dishes. The cocktails were also good.

Service is very good.

Amazing food! The pumpkin soup is world class! We’ve had it 3 times in two weeks, it’s that good! Other dishes were also excellent, talented chef!

Recommend this, Nice restaurant with a good view of the beach. We had ordered many things, everything is delicious. Even though Thai foods! Everything is come with a big plate. Nice dessert too!

The Thai food was delicious. The special order Tom Yum Fried Rice was one of the best I’ve had. 🫰

This restaurant is a gem and a must visit if you are on Samui. With it's perfectly serene setup and lovely location on the beach, it ensures you a dining experience you are looking for on an island. The food is super delicious (especially the grilled calamari with JJ's secret mama recipe wit olive, garlic and lemon, make sure you try it), the service is great and the ambiance is fantastic. We ate there twice and both times it was a mouthwatering experience. Go for it and you will be glad you have not missed this place.

What an exceptional restaurant for a romantic dinner on the beach. We sampled the French and Thai menus and were delighted with the food. Fresh, flavorful, and prepared to perfection. The owner of the restaurant was so friendly and even treated us to limoncello after our meal. We went on a monday night and there was live music (jazz played on a saxophone) which was beautiful and enjoyable. We loved it so much, we went back the next evening.

Very good and impressive food by a young chef , beach acces that is great with kids .

Very clean all round. They also have lounge chairs on the beach.

Great Thai food, best we had along this beach.
Super welcome and fast service.
Top end of the price scale for this beach ( meal plus beer for 2 was 1000bt or £25), but well worth the treat now and again.
Great sun loungers too.
Big drinks selection, like a real bar.

Another beautiful place with the sunset and such a nice food here. ✨ The owner told us that the chef he’s from Michelle star’s restaurant and that’s why the food was so nice and yummy.

Sneaky good find. 2 kind gentlemen served us a wonderful lunch, that included the best chicken & cashew I’ve ever had.

Very nice coz place. Friendly staff and owner, great service. Food is very good, reasonable prices, big portions, some complimentary things made me happy. Nice music collection which make my mood and appetite better.
Will be my favorite place at Bangpor, for sure.

Great Italian / Mediterranean food right on the beach
Had the cold cuts and cheese board along with the stuffed squid and it was incredible

Amazing cocktails, only THB190 upwards with quality spirits used, beautiful.glassware and garnishes by Cocktail Clinic. Owner Leani is so lovely.

100% recommend this place. Food was very tasty, tried the skewered tuna, scallops and calamari. We went there 2 days in a row for lunch the first day and dinner the next as we also wanted to watch the sunset.
Everyone’s very friendly and make you feel welcomed
