Most wonderful fresh, healthy tasting food at Fisherman's Village. The menu is perfect, the hosts Patrick & Era were so welcoming. Yoga classes next door. Beautiful quiet rooms with private courtyard close to lovely pool. The Salsa classes Friday night were alot of fun. Highly recommended this place to stay.

TL;DR

Pat and Era were amazing salsa instructors for our private class - even our guest who came in terrified they could not dance because they had two left feet had a blast. They made salsa accessible and fun - and ignited a passion in sone of our guests!

My husband and I are big salsa aficionado and we wanted to organise a salsa class for all our wedding guests as part of pre-wedding festivities. Pat from Greenlight Cafe was super easy to liaise with to organise the class - and he worked with our wedding planner to take care of all the details.

On the day, Pat was very friendly and engaging. He needed that as a lot of our guests were very anxious and uncomfortable! He broke down the basic steps simply, and slowly raised the difficulty but never lost his students. He really got people out of their comfort zone very gently. By the end of it, everyone was dancing the very basics of salsa with a partner - even turning the girls! When we had a power outage, he still managed to keep people engaged.

I cannot recommend Pat enough - he is a great instructor!

Really extensive vegan and veggie menu (with a couple of meat dishes too if you need to keep the meat-eaters happy!) Staff were really friendly and the service was good.

We tried green light cafe after looking at the extensive menu online and decided we had to go immediately.
On arrival we saw a big sign to advertise their free begginners salsa classes and party every Friday 8pm onwards. I am looking forward to attending tomorrow.

Onto the food - phenomenal! My friend actually teared up while eating as she said it was the most perfect food to indulge in after a 30 day fast.

We tried the vegan pizza, cream of pumpkin soup and mushroom burger.
All were delicious we even ordered another pizza as it was the best vegan pizza we have tried to date. Cream of pumpkin soup also a 10/10. Mushroom burger was nice also.

Can't wait to return tomorrow. Highly recommended if you enjoy great healthy food.

If you’re in Koh Samui, make this a place you go to! The food is phenomenal, with lots of vegetarian and vegan options. The food prepared here proves that healthy food can be just as delicious and decadent as less nutrient dense foods/meals. I had gone to the restaurant twice—once for dinner and another time for breakfast. I had the Asian Salmon Bowl, which was incredible! For breakfast, I had a Blueberry Field Smoothie Bowl topped with peanut butter, which was perfection! 💕😀

In addition to the food being amazing, the owner and staff are phenomenal. Patrick, who is the owner, is so kind. In fact, as I was leaving the restaurant, I had asked a question about advice he may have had regarding transport to catch my ferry for the following morning at Nathon Pier. Without hesitation, Pat and one of the wonderful members of the staff, made a phone call to a taxi driver they have a good rapport with. In minutes, Pat had my taxi transport settled for me. I mention this small moment because It highlights the unique and incredible kindness and generosity of Pat and his staff.

Super fresh and tasty food! The pumpkin soup hooked us on a rainy day and drew us back for two more visits during our stay. Great vibe and friendly staff.

Went here for an early breakfast shortly after they opened and we were the only customer's aside from one other table. We fancied a healthier breakfast and opted for porridge and a smoothie bowl along with a Frappuccino and Americano. Food was really tasty and well presented. Coffee went down well too. Just be aware that there is a lot of loud construction work going on right next door (see photo) which started up at 8am, looks like it will be on-going for quite some time too. [Date of visit: 8th Aug ‘23]

We went here for breakfast as we were searching for a restaurant serving vegan options. The food was very good and specific requirements had been no issues. Really lovely interior and relaxing atmosphere especially due to the backyard incl pool. Very welcoming staff.

We came here three times during our stay: once for breakfast, once for dinner, and once just to have cocktails and enjoy the salsa dancing! On each occasion it was fab - but especially the breakfast!!

We enjoyed the high-quality, delicious (vegetarian) and healthy food and drinks several days in a row. Would recommend eating here for sure! The people are so friendly, we were even allowed to use the swimming pool with our 4y old.

Lots of gluten free options, all clearly marked on the menu. I had the Banana Pancakes, which were a delicious light breakfast. The restaurant was quiet for a weekday breakfast, so service was quite fast.

Outstanding restaurant! What a great little find in Fisherman's Village. The staff was so friendly and helpful- Carol, the manager was so sweet and kind and helped us pick what to order. Everything we tried was delicious!!! The menu is unique and the flavors are thoughtfully put together for a really outstanding meal so far in Koh Samui. A vegetarian's dream! Oh! And the locally brewed Kombucha drinks! They were perfect! Go enjoy!!!

You can swim while waiting for your food or after filling your tummy!

Would be better if you could serve water not in plastic bottle but some other sustainable way.

Loved this place!! Enjoyed my visit and food yesterday. The food was really well prepared and and very tasteful. The presentation made you not want to eat/move anything. Lol. The service was also attentive and quick. They checked up on me every so often, but nothing overbearing (I don't like that). And the communication was pretty smooth. I had the Quinoa and Black Bean wrap, Spicy Sweet Potato Soup, and the Sparkling Apple Cider to wash it down. The dishes aren't all plant-based, but they have a big selection of plant-based dishes which I was a fan of. Didn't know what to choose. The establishment, in itself, had a real laid back and chill vibe. There was also a pool in the back. Don't know if it was for customer use, but it added to the whole vibe. All in all, service, food, presentation (place and food) get 5 stars from me.

Super healthy restaurant with lots of customisation possible. Wild salmon is a nice touch - it's important to eat wild seafood. Chocolate cake dessert was exceptional.

This is my absolute favorite place to eat! The best healthy vegan (and vegetarian) food, a big variety of bowls, soups, salads, juices, smoothies and more! I totally recommend this place!

Stumbled across this gem while waiting for my hotel room to be ready. Grabbed lunch. Just a great place that came at the right time as I had just came out of the clinic with a kidney stone so this was a welcome sight. Had some cucumber water and avocado toast and relaxed. Then a really good iced mocha after.

Came here for its smoothies after dinner. Had a 'Cool Runnings'. Highly recommend after a day in the sun of island hopping and water activities. Server is very friendly. Vibe is very good!

Taste the egg on toast and you will be amazed.
