Bondi Aussie Bar and Grill, Lamai

Not the cheapest place in Lamai Beach but the quality of the food and the free entertainment does justify the price premium. We dropped in for a burger and stayed to listen to Alex the singer/guitarist. He is happy to take requests for songs and he knew and could play all 3 of our requests from several decades of music.
We had burgers and they were tasty, nicely made and properly cooked. Overall, a pleasant ending to a pretty spectacular day.

Amazing place with good burger and meat. And the cold draft beer, IS a classic. The place is not extensive for the prestation. Good place to hang out before heading "other bars". Lamai RPZ

Me an my wife spent a bit of time in lamai recently. We started at bondi the 1st night. Well we were still there a week later. Fell in love with the place. Rob the manager makes sure everything is sorted right. Foods amazing. The ribs🤗🤗🤗. Also ashout out to alex the legend 1 man band himself. Sounds incredible night after night. Very friendly enjoyable bar. Look fowrd to nex time

Great sports bar in the middle of Lamai. Good vibes, live music & sport with sound. Great menu packed with pub grub. The chicken burger I had was top notch was still thinking about it the next day 😅

We’ve eaten here twice since we’ve been in Lamai and will probably eat here again! What amazing food! I’m a very fussy vegeterian so what they had on the Menu for me was perfect! Also has great live music and many screens with sports on! Highly recommend!

RESTAURANT AND BAR REVIEW

Bondi has very tasty western pub type food. Arguably the best, chrispiest, french fries in Samui.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Very central Lamai location.

The food was really great. Ribs were so tender and juicy, highly recommend. We tried the Caesar salad which was crisp and yummy, as well as the steak, cooked to perfection!

What a place!!! Visited 3 days in a row for the piri piri and ribs!! Wow, they are insanely tasteful. The live music with some Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, etc. is a great thing for the atmosphere. One tip:
Every time there is a break from the livemusic the whole atmosphere changes because of the radio music u put on. Try to put on the same genre of music when the live artist stops because I saw it changes the mood completely.

I had an amazing experience at this bar! The vibes were fantastic and the live music added the perfect touch. Rob, the manager, was incredibly welcoming and informative. The food was also outstanding. A must-visit spot for a good time!

Very delicious burgers! Special thanks for having Beyond Meat burgers in the menu. Pizza is also very good and juicy (tried veggy), american-style with thick dough. Soft drinks are a bit overpriced. Beer on tap is sometimes finished, but bottle options are always available. Milk shakes also highly recommended!

Well ignore the bad reviews and just give it a go which is what we did. 3 times. Fabulous place great service Bon served us twice and to be honest became more of a friend helped us choose drinks and food... Obviously this is not Thai so if you are after a bit of Western food, drink a band and a bit of atmosphere I couldn't fault it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Piri chicken half and ribs very good. So give it a go and you may be pleasantly surprised... see you again soon Bondi and thankyou Bon. 🍻

Excellent place. Great food. A bit more expensive than other places but definitely worth it.

Went to Bondi bar several times during our stay in Lamai mainly because they play the football and will accommodate whichever game you want to watch. Staff are super friendly and the drinks are good and reasonably priced. There is usually some live music too.

Visited for both breakfast and dinner. Both times food was amazing and staff are excellent. Live music was great too. Ribs are so tasty, definitely worth a visit. 👍🏻

Great place, cheap drinks, awesome vibe and the steak was amazing! Visited twice while there, once for drinks and again for dinner.

Went to Bondi for lunch, I highly reccomend the coconut iced shakes served in a coconut to cool down on a hot day. For lunch I had the cashew chicken with egg fried rice which was divine, the establishment is clean, service is excellent, waiters and staff are friendly. They also have a super cool bar to sit and chill at which is attached to the restaurant, but situated on the street corner.

If you want to hear the best singer on Samui, come & listen to Alex - you won't be disappointed.
