Khrua Chao Ban

We were in Lamai for lunch on the way back from Pig Island and choose this spot for lunch. Not disappointed. We didn't try the signature seafood and pork omelette or the stir-fried squid with pineapple, but everything we tried was great tasting, big portions and reasonably priced. Great Michelin Bib Gourmand choice on Samui.
[Updated: We went back and had fried seabass, Somtum with fried fish and Noname vegetable (fritters) appetizer. Even better than the first time.

Had not visited in a long time and its just as good. Signature dish Khrua Chao Baan omlette which is like a thick pancake was tasty, we had laab, squid with salted egg, tamarind prawns, rice, fried whole fish, keng som (southern curry) with crab, krua chao baan omlette, nam prik prawn and it was all very good food.
Staff are good.
Venue was busy and they handle it well.

I always eat panang gai ( curry panang chicken) when i test a new thai Restaurant and i can say it has an unique Taste, soo delicious also i had a mango salad and my wife had a absolut fresh noodle with gravy and seafood meal and fishpancakes , after our visit i Found out this Restaurant is an thai insider Restaurant, i will go again 100 %

This restaurant is, without doubt, one of the best in Samui and has been for many years. It is always very popular with Thais and foreigners. The setting is perfect on the beach, with stunning sea views, and it has a great atmosphere. The Thai food is very very delicious (amongst the best in Samui) and well presented. The extensive menu also has western food, but haven't tried it.

Today we especially enjoyed khua kling gai (a southern Thailand spicy dish - chicken), deep fried fish and mango salad, which were all fantastic.

The service is always excellent.

Local Thai, Southern & seafood in one place with sea view. Casual, spacious and many choices of food. Try recommended list if you have no idea what to order. Convenience for lunch & dinner.

We were a party of eight people in this splendid restaurant; the name of which translated says "Local Kitchen", which is located on the beach and on the approach to the village of Hua Thanon; it is well shown on the map. Our Thai friends ordered a fantastic array of local Thai food that proved to be wonderfully delicious and plentiful! The restaurant was clean and well-lit, and the staff were excellent, informative attentive, charming, and with good English skills too. The restaurant also has a good selection of beers too; my friend was pleased that he could drink Heineken there! Parking is tricky though with very little off-road parking for cars, ok for motorcycles. I would suggest going on further passed the restaurant and parking outside the Tops 24-hour shop and walking back, which would take someone five minutes to do.

Very good Thai food with a lovely view of the ocean and their own little private beach with lots of picturesque spots for Instagram. Kind of photos, good cocktails and reasonable prices

Local restaurant with delicious food, fresh, clean and very good service. The staff is smiling, attentive, very well mannered. The big shop has many seats and is next to the sea. Strongly recommended.

Really pleasant restaurant with a gorgeous beach behind it. Nice views for sunset, friendly staff, with nice food with a few unique local dishes. The thai omelette was particularly good as was the spicy mango salad. Excellent value, recommended!

Tasty local food with reasonable price and just right next to the beach. Also offer western food like Pizza Spaghetti and sandwiches. Come with variety of Thai dessert. Also participating with We travel together campaign which is a plus.

Great seaside location w/ good breeze. The staffs were attentive and service was fast. The dishes were delicious. The prices on the abit higher end because of the location / view.
