Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui

We stayed here for 6 nights in November 2023. The resort is rather small with 80 suites and villas, but this gives it a pleasant family feel and the character of a boutique hotel. Nevertheless, it offers all the amenities you would expect from a top-class 5-star hotel.
The reception was extremely friendly. We had booked a Grand Suite with a sea view and the service includes a personal butler. Our butler, Ms. C., met us straight away and showed us to our suite. Throughout our stay, she was extremely competent and took care of organizing excursions, restaurant reservations, transfers, etc. Her friendly and helpful manner made this vacation a great experience for us.
Breakfast is included as standard in the room rate and is very plentiful and varied. During our stay we visited both restaurants in the complex and the quality and service were excellent in both.
The friendliness and competence of all the staff should be emphasized. We felt extremely comfortable throughout our stay.

I recently stayed at the Vana Belle and had an amazing experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the service was top-notch. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. I especially appreciated the attention to detail and the little touches that made my stay extra special. The location was also perfect for exploring the island and taking in all the sights.
I would also like to give a special shout-out to the butler (Nicki) who went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. Their attention to detail and personalized service was truly exceptional. Had an amazing stay here. The staff here are the pinnacle of what luxury hospitality should be. Everyone here, especially Nicki, our personal butler (yes, you actually get a butler!), were so accommodating and friendly. Their attention to detail was stellar. We definitely plan on making a trip back again. We will never forget their generosity during our stay. The best stay we’ve had at a Marriott, by far. My wife has celiac disease and they were super accommodating with that. To the Marriott leadership: this place was amazing and the staff is the perfect example of the type of service that can really elevate anyone’s stay.

My 4 nights stay at Vana Belle is absolutely one of the best vacations! Not only me, my two kids at 11 and 13 as well as my husband just enjoyed so much.

But I have to say, what actually makes it so good is each and every staff who works for this hotel. They are all enthusiastically professional, kind and patient! It is them who made our family holiday and the entire experience flawless!

We had an excellent one-week stay in late Dec to early Jan and can't wait to return! The property is superb, with great views and facilities. We stayed in one of the Tropical Pool Villas, which was divine. The main pool adjacent to the beach is large and the beach itself is also very beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the buffet breakfasts at Kiree and Panali was great for lunch and dinner. As awesome as all this was, it was the warm, friendly and exceptional service that really stood out. And our villa concierge, Khun C, was truly exemplary. She helped make our stay memorable in so many ways!

To say that this resort is amazing is an understatement. It truly is a special place. From the moment you walk on to the resort and they tell you about the history of the place in the middle of the himmpan (jungle) to their mascot with an elephant with the tail of a dolphin, to the hospitality of the staff and personal butler. Just truly spectacular. We stayed in Dec 2023 and since we were recently engaged our butler Song made it extra special. The buffet and à La Carter breakfast is amazing as are the cocktails at the bar. The beach is quite serene and private, away from the hustle of Chwaeng beach. The rooms are spacious and we had an ocean view room with a plunge pool. The sunrises and sunsets were truly spectacular. The experience is first class. Highly recommended and would come back on return to Koh Samui.

We stayed three nights at the Vana Belle and it is a great Hotel Complex, especially at Beach and pool area. The hotel is build quite nice into the nature and the beach is very nice to relax and swim. The food is delicious at the restaurants, highly recommend. Spa is also very good and also the gym.

Big thanks to Dean and Max who made our stay awesome, both are at the pool Bar and restaurant.

The cons are minimal. The pool villas missing a sun lie and look a little bit sad, maybe a plant or something would help.
Also not ping pong (table tennis) table available

Among the best hotel properties in the world. Tremendous service, location, and the villas were world class.

Our butler, Khun Pum, was incredibly helpful. Responsive within minutes to multiple requests, including lining up reservations, transportation, and anything else we generally needed during our stay.

My wife and I throughly enjoyed our time at Vana Belle. The staff on hand went above and beyond to make our time there feel special. Our Villa host Pum was amazing and so sweet to us. There were a few hiccups during our stay but the staff acted quickly to make things right. The crew at the pool was incredible too. Boat, Zen & Mr Dean all did a great job serving us while we enjoyed the pool and beach area. I can’t promise that everyone will have a perfect experience at Vana Belle but I am confident the staff there will do everything they can to make your stay a great one.

Service at Vana Belle is exceptional. Location of the resort is excellent as it is at the more quiet side of Chaweng but still within 10 to 15 minutes drive to the shopping mall and night markets. Would like to specially mention Song who had taken very good care of us during our stay. We felt she truly wanted us to have the best vacation and she had gone far and beyond to make our stay memorable. We will come back to Vana Belle again for sure!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and the view was excellent. Would recommend the ocean view rooms. The resort is well maintained.

On the last night of our quick visit to Koh Samui, we switched from the nearby Hyatt Regency to Vana Belle. It was my first time staying at a Luxury Collection hotel, and the FHR price was about the same as the Marriott website's Bar rate. To give my companion a better birthday experience, I decided to book the Grand Pool Suite directly. After making the reservation, I emailed the concierge immediately, and the day before check-in, the App showed that we were upgraded to a Beach Front Tropical Pool Villa!

First of all, this stay was superb😍. From check-in to check-out, Butler Tik took care of everything, and we could make any requests at any time. My companion liked the local snacks provided by the hotel. We were thinking about asking Tik where we could buy them on the island, but she offered to handle it for us. So the next day, a bag of 1kg of snacks (300THB) was already neatly packed in our room after breakfast! Many thanks to MVP Tik!

Vana Belle was formerly a Six Senses, so the entire resort has quite a bit of history. However, all facilities are very well maintained. I thought the room might be a bit old, but it’s in a pristine condition. It was even more comfortable than I had imagined. I personally loved the space in the bathroom. You could gaze at the small private courtyard while soaking in the bath. Although the total square footage of the Villa is extensive, the indoor space is not that big. Instead, the outdoor area may account for even more, which could be a minor drawback of this room type.

I initially thought that dining at the resort would be expensive. However, Thai cuisine was priced similarly to what you'd find in Bangkok. We ate two meals before we finished using the 100 USD credit provided by FHR😅. Moreover, the excess beyond the credit was discounted by 25%, and the spa was 40% off.

The beach here is much nicer than at Hyatt. But unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our days there. Going into the sea even felt a bit chilly😨.

Another MVP of this trip is the VB’s Body Lotion (I forgot to take a picture🥲), specially designed by the Thai brand PAÑPURI for Vana Belle, primarily with the scent of jasmine. The key is that it doesn't feel heavy when applied, but it moisturizes very effectively.

I loved my stay at Vana Belle, and thanks again to Tik for making our stay perfect.

I have never seen people more kind than in Vana Belle. They do everything to make your stay here unforgettable.

We saw all beaches in Koh Samui, but the beach of the hotel was by far the most beautiful. It is a long and wide beach, crystal water, fine sand, shadow under the trees if you want, entering the water is smooth, perfect for kids.
We will for sure come back here.

The epitome of luxury

We have just finished a weeks long stay with Vana Belle and could not be happier with our holiday.
Firstly we must thank the staff, from security at the gate all the way down to the pool and beach, everyone is so warm, caring, friendly and professional. We would like to thank Wee, Muay and Kaew in particular for their care during our stay.
The grounds are gorgeous - secure, private, lush and well maintained. Our room was cleaned every day and cleaned very well. The breakfast was plentiful and gives you options to eat A Le Carte or from the Buffet. The room itself was lovely, we had a sea view and our own pool. The beach is gorgeous and is private so it’s quiet and not too crowded. The restaurants are both lovely and we recommend them both, if you don’t want to venture out. To me, 5 star combined with competence is about anticipating guests needs before they even know they need something themselves and Vana Belle exceeded our expectations at every turn.
There are two local businesses we would like to recommend; ‘Yuis Spidernet’ across the road which is Scooter Hire and the Massage immediately opposite the front gate - just perfect! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

1st and Foremost I want to highlight the casual elegant experience this team and property offer. I’ve never felt more comfortable in a luxury hotel than this, felt private, special but not in an over the top way. Hard to Explain as it’s a personal experience from the very start upon arrival with the front office team and butler experience- with Kuhn Tik however again felt more like coming home - so comfortable and everything was ready as you would expect.

Tik and the team made everything look easy and seamless however I know it was not easy and all the things the team does behind the scenes/back of house to pull off a wonderful experience like that.

I’ve never had valet services for my scooter, amazing and again beyond friendly and helpful team making sure we were ready for our days adventures after an amazing breakfast - what a way to start the day. Buffet but with made to order menu mains - so fresh and served again in an understated elegant way - everything you could want was there and more. All with a personal touch.

Certainly the GM Kuhn Francois has put his fingerprints upon this place - trust me when I say it’s an experience that make lifetime memories worth coming back for.

As the property is set on one of the most perfect beaches in Koh Samui - impeccably maintained, the services as noted above and beyond with a personal touch and a team that is empowered to make each guest’s experience special to their own.

A benchmark any hotel would be hard to match…

I can’t wait until my next opportunity to come back to Koh Samui Vana Belle and see the warm and friendly team and be lucky enough to enjoy an amazing experience.

Simply the best service I have received. I had very high expectations on Vana Belle before arriving, so I was slightly disappointed to know that there is no kids club and only one pool. However, their service and the attention to detail just dazzled me.

My son had fever while we were there, not only did they offer free shuttle to the nearby hospital and porridge, but constantly check in with me on his condition with genuine care.

Certainly going back to Vana Belle for my next trip to Koh Samui.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience at the resort. Our butler, Khun Dao, was extremely helpful in organizing everything from arranging transport to booking activities. There is even an on-site photographer, Khun Ton, who took amazing shots for us. We were spoiled by the pampering afforded to us in such a way that is unintrusive and seamless. The staff are trained to anticipate our needs. Loved the room, the pool, the spa, the Thai food at Panali, but most importantly the wonderful people that gave us an experience of a lifetime.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Vana Belle.
We were warmly welcomed and spoiled by all the staff. The guest's well-being is taken care of and every wish is fulfilled.

Wonderful resort. We enjoyed the scenic pool and easy access to the exclusive beach. The breakfast buffet was amazing with good Thai food as well as international options. We got a cold on our last couple days of the trip and the hotel manager was kind enough to let us check out late free of charge.
Will definitely come back again.
