Khlong Han Beach

Beautiful peaceful beach, with clear water and blue sky. Not a lot of people here. The resort looks pretty empty and the resort nearby is being built at the moment. No place to buy food or drinks unfortunately. Very good shade under the trees.

We discovered this by accident in our search for Klong Yai Kee beach. We ended up at Seacret resort, and the beautiful beach in front of it, with crystal clear warm waters and gentle currents. It is shallow but enough for swimming. You can rest in some shade under palm trees with your own beach blanket or have a drink/food at the Seacret restaurant. One of the best swims on the island, and fairly quiet as only some boat tours stop there, and there is only 1 resort present open to outside guests to serve food and drink (there is another one up the beach, which you have to walk thru water to get to from this side, but they don’t serve food or drink to outside guests not booked at their hotel’s accommodation).

Very beautiful and clean beach, white sand, clear waters. A nice small island just in front. Peace and quiet and loneliness at your disposal. You will definitely enjoy this place. The entrance is through a resort which is still not in function so nobody will bother you when walking through itto reach the beach.

Came here for sunsets and the views was amazing. If you go at the right time of the month/season you might even catch bioluminescent planktons! However driving a motorbike back to our resort in the dark was a bit scary.

I can’t tell how much I love this beach. Stayed for sunset 2 times and both times I witnessed electric blue waves caused by bioluminescent plankton. I freaked out when I saw it!! I don’t know how often this occurs. I was here mid January. The glow is really strong right after the sun sets and when it begins to get darker. One hour after sunset the lights are much less but still beautiful to watch. It made me melt. Please come here, too. 💙

Not sure if I should post this review as this beach should remain secret! Sadly, it looks like they will be building a resort here.

Wider beach line compared to many of other beaches of the island. The sea is lying on white sand and is very shallow. You can walk about 200 m and it will still be less than 2 m deep in some parts. Riding a motorbike up until the coast is very hard, hence people leave them at the road side and walk.

Amazing remote beach accessible by Kayak or the road (you might need to leave your scooter earlier and walk a bit). Wide sand beach, nice coconut trees and nobody around. Enjoy the bliss!
