The Chill Restaurant

Excellent choice this afternoon! The staff were friendly, fast, and a pleasure to be around. The food was excellent and I almost could not finish my chicken sandwich (see pictures). Don’t come here thinking you will get small plates, I did and ordered some wings to go with my sandwich and fries and could not finish my fries to save my life🤣 Over all a excellent little restaurant with great food and prices!!

So, you’ve been looking around KohMak for good food options…

Well this one is this good I was considering not making a review to keep it for myself :) Seriously, green curry, seafood tom yum (omg!), fried rice, cashew&vegetable stir fry and (best on island) mango sticky is creme de la creme.

Just go there, take fresh coconut or glass of sauvignon blanc (yes, owner pours whole glass;) ), pet the dog, have a chat, get lost in tasting everything you can, leave with smily face.

Good quality Thai food, decent prices for near-beach. Friendly staff. Delicious green curry fried rice and noodle soup. Good cold Thai beer and fresh cold coconuts. They also serve western food . Also good fruit salad!

Amazing place. Went here daily for the best coffee on the island 🏝. Breakfast options are great and very tasty. Dinner is yummy! Can't fault it. Family is very friendly and welcoming 🙏

We went there twice because it was so yummy! I can recommend the Mama Tom Yum it was really spicy and good (vegan possible with tofu!!) A little waiting, but the food is worth it.

Best place on the island for vegans. Lovely owner. Everything on menu can be made vegan, just ask. Great food very tasty! Must try the orange espresso and mango sticky rice!

It's our number one in the island. Everything is absolutely delicious, we've been here a few times and it was always amazing and fresh. The owner is very friendly and there's something on the menu for everyone, even vegans:) We'll back on the island and definitely we'll be coming back to The Chill!

so - 6 years after i haven’t been to koh mak, the owner still recognized me after one second, it felt like "coming home". the food is amazing, i can’t praise this place enough. will eat here and i guess ONLY here whenever i’m on the island. the best.

The best restaurant in Koh Mak. Large selection of thai foods, western foods, smoothies, salads and coffees. Very affortable, but yet very, very tasty. Cozy place to just to go grab a smoothie or have a nice dinner. Restaurant is kept by super friendly family. If we ever return to Koh Mak, this is the first place we’ll go!

After visiting this place the first day on our vacation on Koh Mak, we literally went there every day to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The family running the Chill is very friendly and dedicated to serve delicious food!
