JK Khao Kaeng Koh Kood Thai Food

This was the only restaurant where we had food 3 times while on the island. Amazing atmosphere at an easy to reach spot. The service is incredible, they covered our scooter's seats to not get hot in the sun. I have never seen anything similar. The shrimp was great, the pad thai and mango sticky rice are also very good.
If you can,try it out, you won't regret it.

They understood I can’t eat garlic and they avoid garlic from every single plate I’ve ordered. Very good noodles and amazing soup.
They also have mango sticky rice with no sugar added, just coconut milk; it was amazing.
Shakes are not the best, but I mean the dinner was incredible.

Hands down the BEST restaurant in Koh Kood 💖. The food is tasty, service is amazing, everyone is friendly, great atmosphere, we came back five times! Complimentary banana fritter at the end of the meal was delicious and such a lovely gesture. The owner greets you on the street and then helps guide your bike back on the road. Love this place!

Amazing place! Highly recommended 🙏 Fresh fish, had the steamed fish, delicious. Grilled quid, super yummy. Great value for money. Super friendly staff and good service! Visit around 19.00, after that it gets packed.

Best fish I ever had!! I ate here 4 times in 6 days😁 food is amazing and the staff are lovely. Only thing I didn't like was papaya salad - cut too thick.

The best seafood here. Food is amazing in a cheap price. The owner is very nice, humble and friendly. Their staff are nice too. They gave Free a fried banana for a dessert. It’s yummy. Recommend!

Delicious Thai cuisine and attentive service make this restaurant a top choice. From curries to flavorful tom yum, every bite is a delight.

Very Good Seafood. We ate the grilled fish will chilli sauce and the blue crab. Was delicious. The crab meat is miced partly with an sauce which has a lot of oil but its very tasty.
Service was nice and very friendly, they even put pillows on the bike seats during your stay to avoid getting burned.

Absolutly recommendable

Family restaurant with warm and friendly staff and delicious food with ample portions. Fresh fish BBQ and wide variety of dishes. The staff greet you warmly and thank you when leaving. I ate there for almost my entire stay. I would see families, couples drive up with ample parking space. When I told them that I would depart tomorrow, the female server gave me a hug! On the taxi ride out, the owner waved to myself and another customer. Be sure to order the fried bananas for desert!

The food is very very good only surpassed by the friendliness and kindness of the people of the place.

We have been eating here a lot with our kids. They love it, the kittens and the puppies who also live here. We had a little accident with a scooter, and again thank you for being more than fair to us.

Great food. Fish was fresh and delicious. Also good shrimp stir fry, banana fritters and spring rolls. Friendly, welcoming and attentive service with cozy atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone coming to Koh Kood.

The friendliest restaurant on the island!

The place was packed and it's a good sign. They have BBQ fresh fish made by the friendliest chef and a very large menu with both Thai and Western food.

Everything was delicious and they brought me complimentary banana fritters for dessert.

A definite go and go back again!

I think this is the best Restaurant in Koh Kood. The structure is very nice, modern and clean, including the toilet. On top of all the standard Thai dishes, outside they grill delicious fresh fish, octopus, calamari.
The service is top of the world, the stuff is absolutely amazing, the nicest and sweetest people I met in my life, they truly and genuinely love their customers. Prices are standard for the island, maybe only slightly higher (20 Baht per dish) than the mass ugly places. Our dinner was delicious, the fish amazing, the service perfection. You should definitely go there, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent food and a very good price. This little restaurant really delivered in quality price and experience. Located at the top of the hill you can see the ocean from the restaurant. While it's not a beachfront experience that's easy enough to find on the island, this restaurant certainly made up for it in price service and quality. I ordered a fish dinner that I could choose the fish before it was prepared. My friend ordered Thai food at Thai prices so you can eat very reasonably. The restaurant host was very attentive and provided us free dessert at the end!

Fantastic food, nice environment and friendly service. I got the fried fish with chili and garlic, which came whole on a plate, side of rice and a coconut shake. Fish was worth the wait and price. Coconut shake refreshing and icy. We were near the end of lunch rush and it took around 35-40 minutes for our food.

Amazing, fresh and tasty food. The staff is super friendly. every evening there is some kind of seafood and fish barbecue. The boss grills the fish and seafood himself and the food is always fresh! If you want to have a fast snack then you should pick the spring rolls and the mango sticky rice. If you have time you can pick whatever you want on the menu - everything is super tasty. Definitely recommend.

What a charming little restaurant! The watermelon smoothie is excellent, and owner grills delicious fish right in front of you. It is probably the best place we have eaten on Koh Kut. The restaurant is very popular and they have an excellent 80s playlist which adds to the atmosphere 😊
