If you want a place to hang out, enjoy the sun and water (fresh or salt), this place is great. So many different areas to hang out. A net with pillows stretched out over the ocean, a row of floating beds in the sea, pillows under sun cover, large mats with sun umbrellas next to the pool, a table near the restaurant or bar, the table or hammock in front of your villa.. the list goes on. The breakfast is the best I have had in Thailand at a hotel and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a beautiful location, quiet and respectful. Even with all rooms fully rented it's not chaos here, it is peaceful. Yesterday at lunch we had fantastic sea bass. The drinks I tried were good but not great... I will try something different today.

I am extremely pleased with my stay at this hotel. The beach was unbelievably beautiful, and the water floats and other activities provided delightful entertainment. Watching the sunset from the beach offered breathtaking views.

The hotel's beach boasts some of the best snorkeling opportunities on the island. Special thanks for the breakfast; the hotel stayed true to authentic Thai flavors, avoiding overly Westernized options. A genuine plus point!

Beautiful resort with amazing location and beach! The staff were really nice and attentive especially Samrong! Don't understand the complaints about the breakfast here 🤷🏻‍♂there were pancakes, fruits, cereals and a person who makes fresh eggs for you, what else do you need? Yes the coffee is not great, I'd recommend just making a good filter coffee instead of the coffee machine.

very nice resort. cottages located in a tropical forest - something beautiful! the whole thing looks amazing. There are only two minuses: the breakfast, which needs improvement (especially the bread) and the fact that you have to pay for kayaks and water activity equipment (it's the first time I've encountered this in a hotel of this class).

Absolute gem of the island. The resort is situated in a bay with barely any boats around facing towards the west, great for a sunset.

We got the garden view which was very spacious. Nice hammock on your bungalow terrace and huge jungle vibe bathroom!

The staff were very helpful and recommended activities to do and scenic spots to visit around the island.

They also offered snorkel, kayak and other activities for rental per hour for very affordable! Unfortunately we came around rainy season so the winds were strong at the bay.

Overall we really enjoyed our experience and would be more than happy to book this resort again!

Had a nice stay in this resort at an beautiful location. Around 30 min from pier to resort. Resort has beautiful rooms. Waterpressure and drainage could be slightly better (but minor thing in my opinion). Many facilities including bike rental, squid fishing trips and kayaking at beach of resort. Swimming pool is just fine. Def good place and would book it again if going back to Koh Kood.

Didn't stay at the resort but visited twice for snorkling and drinks. Staff very friendly, lovely set up with good selection of seats in sun and shade. Snorkling was amazing - so many fish and we had good visibility. You can hire snorkles from the bar for 50 baht

Beautiful resort in Koh Kood with a nice small beach and two small pools. It has everything you need like a restaurant with a good selection of western and Thai food at reasonable prices. They also have a bar for late night snacks and drinks. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also have motorcycles and kayaks for rent and will help you arrange fir tours to the waterfalls and ferry tickets back to the mainland. Our chalet had a hammock which was great to lay in the afternoons and read a book or snooze.

very beautiful resort area, with access to Cristal Clear water . nice atmosphere and good views . the bungalow are a little bit dark and most of them not new but have everything you need . a very good value for the money

Gorgeous location and atmosphere!
Perfect for a party, or just laid back and chill out. Sunset was magical (if you're lucky and get to see it)

Lunch/Dinner, all dishes we ordered were delicious including the fries. Breakfast was okay (Thai foods, breads, eggs, and coffee/teas)

Room was average, though considering it was not expensive, I'd say it was absolutely worth it. --in case you want your room make-up, ensure to hang up the clean my room sign at the door handle, otherwise they will just leave bottle of waters in front of your room.

Renting a motorbike for 300THB per day. Alternatively you can rent it outside, as it would be a bit cheaper (200-250THB) though it was more convenient renting at the resort.

Overall I enjoy the stay, and would definitely come back in the future.

After 5 years living/traveling south east Asia, I think this my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. The bungalows are big, clean and modern yet you feel immersed in the jungle. The beautifully designed bar overlooks a flawless bay and the sea is the perfect temperature. I’m looking forward to coming back!

Local beans, friendly staff. A perfect place to grab a coffee. Bonus points for opening at 7.

Excellent location as its on the end of one of the beach stretch. Comfortable seating areas by the beach especially the nets. I went with 22 people and they took care if us at all times. They even managed to get us our own private boat instead of 2 smaller fishing boats. We all really enjoyed our time and will be back in the future. 😝😝

Really lovely resort set in a stunning bay with warm water, beautiful scenery and really friendly people. The Food is good and they offer a good selection of drinks too.

Well placed with beautiful bay area. I don't understand some comments where people say the staff isn't nice. Well, opposite! Everyone smiles and staff is very nice. Food is good but maybe overpriced a bit. We had bungalow with a see view and it is excellent with big bed, nice big bathroom and great view. You can rent here motorbike for 400b a day but you can easily find cheaper options on the island. Kayak 50b/h, SUP 150b/h, snorkeling mask 50b/day. You can also take snorkeling/diving trip from here (snorkeling trip 1000b plus free 1h kayak) diving depends on your level. They also serve delicious drinks which may be overpriced a bit but still worth to have some while enjoying your evening. Beach isn't big but there are nice beds on the bay balcony with easy access to the water which is shallow for some distance. Definitely recommend!

Few words, you need to go to visit

I really loved this place. Like many have said it's very peaceful with a nice little beach. The view and the water are amazing, the restaraunt overlooks the beach and makes for a lovely sight during meals. As for the food, breakfast is pretty standard fare, but the lunch/dinner foods are delicious. Overall the place is a great value for what you get, except motorcycle rentals are a bit more expensive than elsewhere.

It rained the second day that we stayed here and unfortunately our cottage had a leaky roof, but we were able to change rooms with very little hassle, and I'm pretty sure the old room has already been fixed. I couldn't review Koh Kood Resort without mentioned the staff. The service was excellent. We always felt tended to, and the were always polite and helpful.

I highly recommend this resort, and if I have the chance I will be back.

Location of the hotel is real nice. Very private and peaceful beach. The water is super clear. Some water activities are for free. This island is very quiet and have nothing at all (mostly jungle). It would take about half and hour or more from the pier to the hotel. Recommended transportation is bike renting. You can rent it at the hotel as well. If you are looking for a good place to enjoy your moment and relaxing (no night life), this is definitely the one you shouldn’t miss.

“I Love everything about that place. Our bungalow was in front of the beach so I could see this awesome view every morning. The resort was in good location because the sun was there all day long, till sunset. Beautiful scenery.
The bungalow was nice and clean. Housekeeper clean everyday so you can have clean towel and neat bed. The bed was very comfy.
The breakfast which was in price of room was tasty, everyday day there was some Thai food, Musli, and some egg dishes, juices, coffee and tea.
The dinner they Serve are also delicious and I totally loved the drinks they have on the BQ Bar.
The stuff is friendly and helpful although their English is rather basic.”
