Beautiful tree. Worth going. When u follow Google map, the last bit is not very accurate. Follow the local sign for ‘Makka Yuk, Sai Yai’. You will eventually get to here.

We dicided to visit this place without expecting a lot, just on the way to waterfall.
But itbwas 100% worth it, the tree is huge!
As well stepping just a few meters insode of the forest we could feel, that the forest is alive and full of sounds, amazing.

Stumbled upon this by chance, something you normally only see in a National Geographic documentary.

If you on the island don’t pass up an opportunity to take a little scooter ride out to see this magical spot, the tress is truly massive and no photo can actually capture its true size and beauty.

Makayuk and the chai tree are both incredible. I would highly recommend the short ride and walk to see them!

Another very old huge tree (500 years old). This particular tree was an inspiration for the movie Avatar. Short 50m walk from the path.

Definitely a place you should see. Sure it’s just another tree but it’s just another beach another cafe as well and still people go there. Preferences are different as is every single sight even if it feels very similar at first. I think it’s quite impressive.
Please don’t litter like many others do and maybe pick up some of the trash as well. Try to make a change!:)
