Fantastic place, much nicer in reality than on the pictures ! Beautiful garden super well maintained. Beautiful elegant cottages but with basic comfort inside. We ordered the only room without AC (only 2 fans) but it actually worked quite nicely. Stayed there 1 week end of March.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. We got 1 of their new rooms, which are beautiful teak wood, Thai style wood houses. It had AC, and was clean in arrival.

Good:
-Nice rooms for the price
-They have good quality, newish 125cc motorbikes for rent (both full day and half day rental rates)
-They have their own restaurant and bar on the property, and a small convenience store.
-the atmosphere is beautiful, well maintained grounds. Nice tropical feel with the palm trees around.
-beautiful, quiet beach only 400 meters away (1 minute on motorbike)
-nice cafe nearby (name is "The Kood Cafe")

Bad:
-Rooms are cleaned only once per every 2 days of stay (instead of the usual daily clean)
-Some food was good (pad Thai) and some food was really bad (pad krapao)
-The girl forgot my wife's order (so we had to wait another 20 minutes for her food after mine was served 🤦‍♂)
-The air con takes a while to cool up the room

I went many times to eat to their restaurant. Very tasty food. I recommend this place. The family that owns (they also have a small shop at the entrance), is really kind. Coffee 20baths.

We stayed in a cozy 13 sq M wooden bungalow for three nights and a family bungalow for one night. The standard bungalow had AC, Wi-Fi, fan, and hot water shower, with daily bottled water top-up and housekeeping every other day. The location was great, a short walk from Klong jark beach, with on-site convenience store, motorbike rentals, and a tasty and reasonably priced Thai restaurant run by the friendly host. The breakfast buffet had Thai dishes and tropical fruit, and the grounds were lovely, with a private balcony and river view. The walls were thin, and the electricity was unstable at times, but overall it was a peaceful and delightful stay.

The family bungalow was spacious enough for three adults and had a separate bedroom and living area with a curtain, as well as a decent-sized bathroom and balcony overlooking the river and garden. The AC, Wi-Fi, and hot water shower worked, and the included breakfast was delicious. The host was helpful and offered motorbike rentals and a convenience store, as well as a family restaurant. The electricity was sometimes unstable, and there was a small cockroach in the bathroom (which Nok, our host, said she'd sort), but overall it was a great stay.

We came back in November to eat in the restaurant as the pad Thai and fried rice is so good at decent prices. We also asked for fruit salad and she made us a generous portion for 80 baht. Sadly we didn’t stay in the rooms as they were fully booked., but she delivered snacks and beers to our by bungalow 5 minutes away on motorbike.

Best hosts in the world. Beautiful scenery, great food, five star massage with a view. They make everything possible ❤

The perfect place. The bungalows are very nice and clean, the garden is beautiful and the location is absolutely great. The beautiful beach is just 400m from the bungalows. Also the family is so nice and friendly, and also cooks delicious breakfasts and thaï dishes.

Our stay here was all we could ever wish for. On every level our wishes were fulfilled above expectations. The location is very quiet, authentic and so perfect to unwind with family from the bustle of life. The beach is just a short walk away, with motorcycle (which we were able to rent on the spot and had gotten very well maintained scooters) it just takes 2 minutes. The host and employees were very kind and helpful. Always ready to help with an ever present smile on their faces.

If you come to this resort, make sure to try the local kitchen. They have a very typical Thai menu and all dishes are made with love, fresh ingredients and bursting with flavour. Prices are a perfect quality/value ratio.

We felt safe, welcome and will surely return given the chance. I wish you all the best and thank you for a time we can remember for all of our lives.

Stay away from bigger resorts that are commercialised, immerse yourself in an original and authentic experience like we have had right here.

Best pad thai ever. We did not stay in the bungslows. Just had food there at the restaurant a few times. And it was sooooo amazing. Very lovely and friendly people as well.

We stayed here for 5 Days and enjoyed every minute. The Bungalows are very clean and cozy. The beach is only 5 minutes away. Breakfast was really delicous. The people who run this place are so friendly and help us every time(they organised our trip back to Bangkok). Kajaks are for free and the bike rent was also cheap. If you come to Ko Kut we only can recommend to stay here.

One of the best homestays we ever had.
The bungalows and also the garden was so nice an clean. Also the location right at the river is great.
The family was absolutely friendly and nice whenever we needed something.
The beach is only 200m from the bungalows and for us one of the best beaches on Koh Kut
We would always come again :)

Lovely place, lovely people.

The overdevelopment of the surrounding village is a little sad, but the accommodation is tip top.

The quality and price of everything at the restaurant is also outstanding. But most of all, Walk In Homestay is about the wonderful family and their dog.

Very kind people, recommend for everyone. My next time in Koh Kood , sure want to stay there.

We had a lovely time at this homestay. It is run by a very hardworking family who try to give you a great time. A special mention needs to be made of Nook the owner of the place. The beach which is about 5mins away is spectacular.

Walk in Homestay has 4 bungalows, 3 with view on the water (mangrove) and 1 on the beach.
We stayed 5 nights in the bungalow on the beach.
What a place!!! Don't expect a 5 star luxury, but enjoy the beach and the view from the terrace.
The very clean bungalow had everything we needed during our stay.
A functional bathroom, a good bed, a large refrigerator, air conditioning, and enough space for suitcases.
The reception by the person in charge (Faii) was warm.
Throughout our stay, she has done everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. She even arranged the tickets for the return trip with the ferry.
She came by every morning to bring us breakfast.
We also arranged a scooter through her.
She also has a shop (next to the 3 other bungalows) within walking distance. This is well filled with all kinds of goods that can be useful during the stay.
Here we also found gasoline for our scooter.
On the beach there is a beach bar where you can eat / drink.
When we stayed here it was very quiet.
We really enjoyed this stay!

I only went to the restaurant… But it was the best pad Thai I ever had!

Magnifique endroit, on y a été très bien accueilli. Location de scooter sur place. + Mini market avec le nécessaire + cigarette. Pratique sur cet emplacement de l'île assez loin de tout même si koh kood est finalement pas très grande.
