The Beach Natural Resort Koh Kood

Great stay on a great Thai island! Everything was great from arriving to departing. Staff was friendly, the bungalows itself were lovely and spacious, nice outside space to sit and relax in the evenings and watch the wildlife go by (fireflies, bats, geckos), and Bang Bao Bay is just stunning and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. We rented the snorkelling equipment from the hotel and went to the far right of the bay, stunning!
We also used the complimentary kayaks and watched the sunset from the sea, beautiful.
The restaurant of the property was right by the beach and pier and offered a lovely scenery.
As the description stated there is no public swimming pool which was no issue whatsoever as the sea is so super shallow and the water is crystal clear. The beach is fairly narrow but it’s not crowded so no issue and another huge and stunning beach is only a 5 min motorbike ride from there too. Would definitely come back.

This is an amazing resort with value for money and in a beautiful scenery. It is highly recommended! We rent the big beach view villa (sky) it was an amazing house, nicely decorated, very down to earth and modest but with taste and a touch of luxury. I would only suggest that they make a real garden in the bathroom/shower area instead of the plastic artificial. This was the only thing which didn’t go well with the room. What can I say about the service, cleaning, hotel breakfast and beach bar other than that everything was amazing and they are professionals!! I highly recommend to have the massage in the resort. The stuff is very experienced and you get a professional service. Wish I had tried it earlier… wouldn’t miss a day without massage! Overall, we’ve been around the island as there are so many amazing beaches. It is recommend to rent a bike and visit other beaches, I’ve seen many resorts in Koh Kood but to be honest I think the Beach natural is one of the best and I would love to visit again soon!!

Magical hotel at peaceful little Koh Kood. Such an exclusive feel and with perfect crystal clear water on the private beach - doesn't get more paradise than this.

The hotel is somewhat secluded, but you can get a taxi or rent a scooter at the hotel to get around. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food, so you have everything you need, right here, if you just need to do the sea, sun, sleep, repeat routine.

Perfect place for a short break
We stayed for four nights in the Beach villa. The room was perfectly equipped, modern and comfy and very clean. The view from the terrace was magnificient, and the sunsets were amazing. Staff was very helpful and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast offers plenty of choices, and the restaurant can be recommended for lunch, dinner - and cocktails for sunset. If you get the chance, do not miss out on the seafood barbecue!
There is a small private beach with access to the crystal clear water.
We can only recommend this resort!

Loved it! We stayed 4 nights in a pool villa with our 2 dogs.
It's a beautiful resort with an amazing sandy clean beach.
The staff was always so attentive and helpful and always with a big smile. It was a big plus that pets are allowed in the resort and the beach is very safe for them to run around with us.
The rooms are clean and tidy. And the restaurant has a very good choice of Thai and western food to a good standard. We loved the breakfast's pastries and cakes btw!!
We will definitely come back for another holiday break

This hotel was so beautiful and relaxing. The location was great for swimming and hanging out on the beach because it was secluded and wasn’t packed at all. The hotel staff went above and beyond and were so lovely. Yummy food, great rooms, can’t say enough about this place!

What a delight to stay on this lovely isolated island. The hotel villa we chose was fantastic. Large open plan with everything you need.
Staff are so polite and helpful and my partner loved the smoothys brought over to her.
If you want beer and loud music go to another place. This was great for the 4 day unwind we wanted.
The thi food was good and the weasten bbq was lovely.
We did pay a little extra for the bigger suite but was worth it.

This place has been the highlight of our trip around Thailand, and we have just booked to come back for three weeks again. The bungalows are lovely, the bay that the hotel is located in is just perfect for swimming and kayaking, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. If you appreciate nature and peace and quiet, I cannot recommend this place enough.

This was truly one of the most amazing hotels we stayed at! Staff was at our service all the time, they were extremly nice and friendly. We stayed at the Natural bungalow, which was very spacious, had a superb terrace and bathroom. The resort was so beautiful, located among so much tropical greenery. The beach had sunbeds and umbrellas and the bay had crystal clear water. The breakfast was good, you could choose between Thai and Western food. Their Blue Coral Restaurant served very good food, with reasonable prices. I can't find any negative comment about this hotel and hope to come back soon🥰

Beautiful Resort in a paradise-like location. Cristal clear water, free kayaking included. Very friendly staff, everything was clean, especially our room (cleaned every day). They offer room service and the food in the restaurant is good as well. Motorcycles are available for rent. The staff helps with transportation and recommendations. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Love this resort. It's the most peaceful mature vibes compared to other resorts on the same beach.

Staffs are professional, attentive, and have an eye for detail. We were greeted by such a vibrant English-speaking front staff named Omar ( I'm not sure how to spell her name but yeah Oma- short hair, smiley front desk).

There was one morning when my mum and I didn't go for the breakfast buffet, and the front staff called us if everything is okay, do we need takeaway breakfast, and whatnot. We were so impressed by the care and attention they gave to us.

Moreover, on the checkout day, Oma even said happy birthday to me in advance! She even checked that my birthday is coming soon and make sure to take action on it.

As a person who also has been in the service industry my whole life, I can confidently say that she’s a superstar and definitely a keeper.

Please keep up the good work. We will be back for the 4th time for sure.

We highly recommend this hotel for its staff (attentive and professional, trained by Thai DSD while we were here), well-maintained with modern tech. Some of the staff are currently from Cambodia, which we love, and with good competence in English. High value compared to other islands in the are on which we have stayed. 👍

They literally take care of everything you can think of. Thanks to the wonderful reception team we had the most stress free stay. They arranged our transportation to our next stay in Koh Mak (which turned out a though job given the rainy/low season). We could rent a motorbike easily, kayak is for free.
They booked us a great snorkling trip. This team shows a lot of flexibility and organisational talent!

Above all we felt instantly welcome in this beautiful resort. The restaurant service is fast, friendly (always smiling) and serves delicious food. They have a lovely farm to table concept and if you're lucky you'll even spot little pigs running around the beach.

The only downside I can think of is that we should have planned to stay around longer. Koh Kood is a magnificent island and this is a great place to stay!

Shout out to the lovely staff at The Beach natural resort. The resort gave you chill atmosphere and very quiet. Food is the best !! All meal was perfectly cooked and tasty. Just fews things to be concerned for some travellers. The hotel got no pool and no TV reception which is acceptable for us. Also the hotel can provided Happy hour for the guest I will give 6 stars. Overall I would recommend to stay at here.

As a female travelling alone I spent a lot of time reviewing where to stay before booking the Beach. After my stay I think that some of the poor reviews are unjust. You can't mark down a hotel for not having a pool that it doesn't say it has, or for mosquitoes getting into your accommodation on tropical island when each room has protective doors. And there is no language barrier for kindness.
This is one of the best laces I have ever stayed. Everyone was kind and helpful at all times, you may not have a pool, but there are sun beds directly on the beach.
Every dinner was exquisite and the setting super romantic- on the beach, or overlooking it. Beautiful

This place is pretty darn fancy. Our room was huge and super comfortable. The restaurant / bar area is pretty nice with indoor and outside seating next to the sea. The private beach is very clean and the water is clear. Excellent service. Takes about 30 minutes to get here from the pier. It's a bit on the pricey dive, but it's worth it I think.

Beautiful resort with a wonderful service. Love the beachfront bungalow and the breakfast here will never disappoint you. We spent five nights here and four out of five nights three have barbecue seafood at dinner by the beach so I would highly recommend everyone to try it. Everything is delicious and well seasoning but I would highly recommend the fish... especially the sea bass barbecue... one of the best I’ve ever had, of course the price is surprisingly good value for your money and your tummy too! Don’t miss it :)

My review is as a day guest from another resort nearby and I wanted a change.
Breakfast was good with many western and Thai dish options. The usual egg station, pastries, salad, yoghurt, juices and tea and coffee. The coffee machine produced a very nice latte. Staff were smiling, attentive and helpful

After breakfast moved to the beach and spent most of the day lounging & swimming. A fabulous day!

Magical place to relax and enjoy the sea. The staff were incredibly helpful and always attentive to our needs. It's a bit of a journey to get here but definitely worth it.

It's a beautiful place. Great location great service very kind people. Clean rooms enjoyed my stay very much and recommend to preorder because the place is most of the time fully booked.
