Amazing location. The beds were very hard, but the rest of the bungalow was great. Clean, next to the beach and very friendly staff. We rented motorbike here as well and it was lovely. Good food as well. Loved it.

If you are looking for a quiet secluded area this is the place to book. It is basically on the beach front rooms are spacious and AC was amazing. Food here was also very good staff were very friendly and helpful

In the last ten years I have spend together more than 6 months in Thailand and this is absolutely the best accomodation for the money I ever had in the whole kingdom. The owner is lovely lady who can understand English quite well and do whatever she sees in you eyes. We spend there 14 days with my family (two kids) – and I cried when we were leaving. Ao Yak is the best beach in the whole island with purest water in the area, there are the best clever-designed bungalows (noise-reducing glass etc.), best cleaning service, everything was JUST PARADISE. Thank you!

We had a bungalow on the beach and this was awesome. The room is good, big, good bed, big bathroom. The only thing is the pressure in the shower that is really really low. Over than that the balcony with the hammac is nice. The beach is beautiful. There are kayaks and a paddle board you can use. The food is good and at good price. A very nice place to chill 🥰

Very nice beachside place with decent prices for food and drink. Good Thai food, but has some wester options too. The fish dishes were delicious, and we loved the proper Italian iced coffees in the mornings, as well as cold fresh coconuts. We stayed in the smaller garden bungalow which were Spartan but suited us fine. The beach was kept clean during our stay. The water was clean and swimming friendly. The rooms were tidied every other day, with linens change about every 4 nights. The mattresses are very firm but we liked that. The family who run it are smiley and lovely. They run a smooth operation for Thailand. The other reviews regarding low water pressure is true but it is manageable. Everything else functioned smoothly. Duan helped us with our transfer and also hired us a motorbike during our stay. This is a place of quiet and relax. It is set In Nature so expect a gecko in your room. It is fairly remote, with nearest minimart about 10 minutes walk away, and only one other bar (neverland) on the beach. There are more bungalows being built in the area so we hope that the beach won’t become unclean and overcrowded. A small couple notes for improvement: more comfortable chairs for the beach as they got occupied quickly, & Cotton bedding would be far less sweaty and more comfortable than the microfibre ones in the bungalows. WiFi only worked in the restaurant so bring data.

Best beach on the island with the best service at the restaurant. Everything is clean and tidy if you help it by yourself too with like cleaning the beach or something. Bungalows are cosy and spacious. Food is authentic and excellent at the beach restaurant. Water is crystal clear and you have free kayaks and snorkeling kits. Drinks are cold all the time. Restaurant closes at 10 PM but it isn't the rule. If there are more orders then it can be open for longer.

Very welcoming staff, all the facilities you need including scooter & kayak rent, ferry bookings, massages and more. Bungalows are up to par and location is sublime. Road to Rimlay is challenging but we managed. Would recommend!!

Awesome place.

If you find yourself at RimLay the fact that water pressure is not great, the road gets a bit dicey after the rain or there is a mozzie or two; has no bearing on the experience! I promise those issues will fade away.

You are sitting in paradise: get a beer and hire a tube from the store up the road and just soak it in!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is delicious, consistent and reasonably priced.

Amazing beauty, peace and quiet... If you are looking for a dream place, still untouched nature and do not like fancy resorts this is a place for you. Ideal for writers, for those who like to meditate or to read books ... In fact, I don't know who it's not ideal for :). The owners and people who work here are phenomenally kind and dear... The food is extremely tasty and very cheap... What else can you ask for?

Lovely place on Ko Kut directly on a quiet and beautiful beach. Nice and clean bungalows with amazing view. Super nice staff and nice bar that also serves good food. Free kayak. Highly recommended! Little paradise!
