Koh Kood Garden View

Great value accommodation about 150m walk from the beach and in an area of the island where there are plenty of eating options within walking distance. They hire motorbikes though too.

Also has a good restaurant (Mermaid) itself where food is discounted to people in the accomidation, The Dutch guys who run the place also own the divers' school next door.

We got an extra deluxe hut for free too. Highly recommended.

One of my all time favorit place. It's just everything perfect and i just adore the owner of this place. You can feel her energy straight away and i love this enthusiasm.

We stayed 5 nights at the lovely Koh kood Garden View and we could not be happier.

We have been visiting the island for many years now and stay have stayed at various resorts and home stays, but Koh Kood Garden View is by far our favourite place we have stayed. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and private. A selection of air con or fan rooms with your own balcony to sit and relax listening to the birds in the garden while enjoying the fresh ocean breeze.

The new Mermaid Restaurant at the resort is outstanding. The food is by far some of the best we have eaten in all of Thailand. Each dish is made fresh to order with the freshest daily ingredients by the head chef. You can tell he really loves his job by the quality and consistency of the food, each dish being better and more delicious than the last. Our favourites were the chicken massaman curry, green curry and the daily special of fresh caught fish steak, chips and salad, also the mango sticky rice is so delicious.

The owners Apple and Jessie have only recently taken over ownership of the resort and in such a short time have already done so much to the place with new ideas and improvements in the very near future and we can not wait to return to and see what they do with the place. They are the most gracious hosts, always making each and every guest feel like part of the family with great service and hospitality.

We stayed a few days in the fan room. Location is super!

It’s totally fine if you’re not looking for luxury and out exploring anyways :) the price is okay for what you get! I liked that we got beach towels.

Most of all I am really thankful for the friendly and helpful staff. Even tho we moved to another resort for a change of scenery, we could rent motobikes. Apple was really helpful. If you like delicious and healthy breakfasts, go check out the Mermaid Cafe, also run by Apple! We loved it. Also special thanks to Asako, the receptionist - always smiling, friendly and helpful. She will stay in our hearts!
We would stay again and it’s nice to read that the owners are working on some renovations.
I think this will have a great impact overall. :)

We had a wonderful stay at Garden View.

The bungalows are simply furnished and very clean, you have a ventilator and a small bathroom (no hot water).
It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. The Garden View itself has a restaurant with really delicious food (the green curry is a must!).
With the scooter, which you can rent on site, you can quickly reach other beaches or the waterfalls, and the diving school is right next door. A great starting point to explore the wonderful Koh Kut.

The soul of the Garden View is its owners Jesse and Apple, who recently took over the place and made us feel welcome and at home immediately. They manage to breathe a very special warmth into this spot of earth and are really helpful.
In the evenings, the Garden View has a cosy atmosphere of getting together, playing games and talking about the day and life.

If you are looking for authentic island living, a bungalow retreat with soul and charm, away from the resort style, you will really find it at the Garden View.

Nice resort in the heart of Klong Chao, close to the beach. Basic and very affordable bungalows, excellent restaurant in a nice garden. Good service, very nice staff. Owners are the same as Koh Kood Divers and Mermaid Boutique & Café.

Great location. Close to the sea and many nice restaurants/bars, but still a nice and quiet area with a nice garden. Great, nice people owning the place and u can go diving with their company Koh Kood Divers as well, which I would recommend! I would definately come back!

We were 3 friends staying here. Koh Kood Garden View is really a nice place to stay. They have some rustic but cozy bungalows with a beautiful lounge. The owners Apple and Jessie are lovely, when we arrived Apple welcomed us warmly and provided us a map of the island and gave us recommendations for places which turned out to be really great. We spend our birthdays here and booked a snorkling trip at Jessies diving company and it was the best snorkling experience we ever had, we even got a delicious cake after we had some great green curry.
We wish them all the best and if we come back, we‘ll be staying here again for sure!

We had a lunch today at Koh Kood Garden View and it was amazing. We took thaï food (masaman curry vegetables) and western food (hamburger and home made fries), all were amanzing !

After 10+ years coming to Koh Kood this is my favourite resort on the island. Location is the best, 5 minutes walk from the stunningly beautiful white powder Klong Chao beach & with many restaurants and drinking options in easy walking distance.
The bungalows are very simple but kept very clean and comfortable. The ensuite has warm water, and the bedroom has both fan & air con. There is a great little balcony outside for drying clothes or just chilling.
Food is excellent & the staff very friendly and kind, and all is exceptional value

We had one of the newer Bungalows for 2 adults and our 5-year-old daughter. Clean Room, good hard mattrasses, good price: 1000 bath incl. Breakfast for three ppl. Good food, very lovely family running the place. Central spot on this quiet island. 5 min walk to tinkerbell beach. Motorcycles for rent. Recommended place!

The place will make you feel like you're in your home. The staffs here are so kind, I don't know how to drive a motorbike and they offered to bring me in the other side of the island for free. The food is so great and cheaper in price compared to other restaurant. I really recommend this place to everyone!

The bungalows are located about 2 minutes walk to the Ao Khlong beach (the most beautiful beach on Koh Koot) and the island's only ATM is just across the street. There are many restaurants and coffee places around the area. Bathroom is spacious and there is a toilet flush. The beds are comfortable too. The staff doesn't clean your bungalow unless you ask them to. They'll provide you with clean towels and small bars of soap.
I highly recommend it!

Simple and tasty Thai food. Fuss-free and reasonably priced. Fun fact: The food tasted better than in the fancy hotel next door and was half the price.
