The Mak Trat

The service was great. Staff was super friendly. They have ferry services to nearby port, they allow you to rent scooters which was nice!
The views from the hotel were spectacular, girlfriend and I were just enjoying the scenery by the pool.
Food was also good, breakfast had a decent variety and had live omelette section too.

Our room did have a leaking aircon, which wasn’t a massive problem but was just something a little bit inconvenient.

Overall. Would definitely come back!

If you come to Koh Mak, I recommend you to come to The Mak Trat. Beautiful view, clean sand, next to the beach, very beautiful. Good service staff, lovely people, managers are friendly, kind, listen to customers and provide good service.

Amazing Resort, probably the best resort on the Island. The staff are amazing and most importantly the food is delicious 😋. Definitely the place to be on Koh Mak!!

Only went here for desert, they have delicious ice cream and cakes, with a fantastic view. Also a great swimming pool which non-guests can use for 200 thb (1 soft drink and towels included). Service is a bit slow but otherwise it's great.

We drove to the cafe by accident. Turned out it has an interestingly beautiful view with the water and sand banks (went there at around 10am), some fun and a little different swings. Iced cappuccino was really good.

If you search for a total disconnection from the world, this is a place for you. The view is stunning. No tourists, no bustle of the city, only nature and tranquility. The whole complex is stylish with a beautiful design. It is isolated from the center and shops buy easy to rent a motorbike.

My girlfriend and I stumbled across the place while looking for somewhere else. We stayed for coffee and cheesecake, then lunch, then happy hour cocktails. The staff offer 5 star service. After taking a dip in the pool, one ran up to me with a towel! While sipping on cocktails, I surprised my girlfriend by enquiring about a room for our last night on the island. So tomorrow we check out of our resort and into The Mak.
The food was good, except the vegetarian burger, which was more like a veg sandwich, but it was priced accordingly. The view and pool are amazing. I think I already said the staff are brilliant, but I'll say it again! Oh, and it was lovely to see all the canine visitors (dogs) and how the staff set tables for guests with dog bowls of water next to them. This is a beautiful resort!

It's very quiet and private just as we like. The room is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Our room is on beach front, we could have stay in the room all day. Staff are very friendly and the use of LINE to contact service staff makes things easier. We would love to go back again.

It​ was​ fun to​ travel by speedboats.​ The​ location was​ way too far from the​ main land.​ Service was​ incredible.​ I like this place.

Excellent excellent excellent!!! Outstanding resort with gorgeous views. We were there last weekend for 2 nights. We were so impressed that we ate going back with more friends. Immpeccable service and superb staff. They even folded our used laundry and neatly stack them. Has to b the first for any resort.

Excellent pet friendly hotel ! All staffs provided best service to us. We enjoyed our time there so much with a front beach Sala view and wandering around the island. I recommend Thai dishes and coconut cake there !

This is the best and newest resort on this island. You can see the amazing view from the infinity pool and restaurants. Villa is located at the beach front. When the sea water goes down you can see sand dunes. Very colorful skies during sunset.

I could call this place home. A wonderful experience. The quiet beach and the tiki huts are perfect. The service from the staff was 5 star.

We didn’t stay here but had lunch and coffee. The food and coffee was nice. And view was one of the best on the island but comes at a price. Was also a little hot if you’re there in the early afternoon.

Lovely view, beautiful venue, great pastiserie and coffee.

The staff is also really nice we were a little big cold and they offer blankets to cover while we enjoy the hot beverages amd the view.

Delicious pizza, it’s real original Italian pizza homemade , Croissants is the best in this island and Coconut Latte’ Love it 😊 ❤
