We have been there yesterday and can fully recommend it. Just be aware that you need to consider a long waiting time, which was no problem for us- since other comments already declared this. But then you get very delicious, fresh food serviced with a great price quality ratio. So take one of the games provided, sip on your beer and wait for the tasty food.

I want you to come and try it even though the food takes a long time to cook. But it was worth the wait. 😄 Thailand 🇹🇭

One of the best green curry we ever had. Just take into consideration that it takes time before receiving your food, but it is totally worth it. They provide some card games if you need.

Worth the wait! Food was delicious - we had the garlic pepper pork and Penang curry to share between two people. It was sooo flavourful and well seasoned and the meat was lean but tender still. We will definitely be back for more!

Wonderfully delicious traditional Thai food at prices to match. Slower service but as with patience comes a beautiful meal. Spicy wasn't too spicy at all. The Spicy Fish was quite a treat along with their coconut filet of fish. Make sure you are the first to get there as their tables fill up quick!

Absolutely top, top food. Seafood was fantastically tasty; the red curry prawns in particular being one of the best things I’ve eaten in Thailand. The beer was ice cold and very reasonably priced. We came here two nights in a row and I ate double meals both times because I just couldn’t get enough of this lady’s cooking.

When we stepped in the owner said that it will take long because they only got one cook. Even though it took long the food was most definitely worth it. All of the food were rich in flavor heightening your sense of taste to a new spere. The owner was really friendly despite hectic schedule, the atmosphere joyful and serene.

10/10. This restaurant has amazing food! I went there 3 times during my 6 day stay in Koh Kood. I kept seeing people on their motorbikes idling at the restaurant's entrance, unsure whether to come in. If this happens to you, just go in. You won't regret it.

Great food, and friendly service from the woman/chef taking our order. Only one cook means you get your food after a very long wait if there’s a queue. Fortunately we were first there for lunch. Got the fish with three types of sauce and it was spicy fruity and very flavorful. Coconut shakes also have more meat and less ice so they were very creamy and rich. Parking is limited, show up early.

Really nice and authentic place! All of the dishes we got where nice in flavour and really tasty. Keep in mind that the food here will take time so have patience, drink some beer, play a game and put the phones away and enjoy.

Absolutely delicious! Been twice now, and I won’t be surprised if we end up coming again during our week stay on the island. Yes you will wait a while for your food (as the sign stated on the wall) but come before you are totally starving and enjoy your beer, and you will be rewarded with the most tasty thai food!
Dishes we tried and recommended: tofu panang, papaya salad, prawn hot & sour soup, tofu massaman, veggie spring rolls, prawn panang

Slow service but worth it. One waiter and only one chef, waiter has a bit of attitude because of too much work for two of them but it gives into the whole atmosphere

The food was good. We came late in the evening so the wait wasn’t very long. Everything tasted good!

Food was amazing. Freshly cooked and large portions. I ordered the noodles with vegetables in gravy and it only cost 60baht. Luckily we were only ones there so food came out pretty quickly.
There are signs which state there is only one chef so be patient.

Best food in Thailand we have tried so far! The place is so simple and humble but the food is just fantastic! The cook is super sweet too. A must try if you come to Koh Kood!

The owner is amazingly cute and nice, as well as the staff. Food is low to be served bur oh my, it does worth the wait. I've been living in Thailand for more than a year, and I believe Chaiyo became my number 1 favorite restaurant! Flavorful meals, big portions and fresh ingredients. Thank you so much!!
