Kohkood horizon

Ocean view bungalows a few steps from some of the most amazing reefs and underwater creatures to observe whilst snorkeling just off the beach.

Breezy and scenic place worth staying at. Might be the best snorkeling in all of Thailand, plus the food at the resort restaurant is extremely good. I spent nearly a week on Koh Kood and ate at more than ten different places. Horizon restaurant was by far the tastiest.

I think this place has the best spot on the island. You might want to take a snorkeling tour from one of the companies on the island but even if you don't, there are a lot to see when snorkeling at this place's beach. They have all kind of services like yoga class In the morning, rental stuff like snorkels, kayaks, motorbikes etc. Rooms are pretty comfortable with big and cozy beds. Especially half open bathroom is very nice to watch the sky and palm trees while showering. Owners seem to be nice people even though some other people shared their negative comments about them but I don't know if it was a personal issue or not. They were nice to us. Some people also say the prices are high but like I said, they have the best spot on island and therefore a little higher prices are acceptable.

We stayed 10 days at the Horizon Resort, during the low season and had a wonderful time. The hotel staff, especially the manager, Fabrize, treated us as family and every evening we enjoyed great dinners whether Thai and French cuisine. We were a family of four and were given a bungalow with sea view and we could all sleep comfortably in the bungalow, with an extra mattress. The manager and his staff were always ready to help out, and the view is amazing from anywhere on the resort. I can highly recommend this resort.

Our stay in the Horizon Breeze bungalow was just perfect. The bay at Horizon is just beautiful and quiet, ideal for snorkeling with some little rocks to discover plenty of wonders. Ask for a kayak and explore the beaches from there, you will not regret it. Service at Horizon is also of very good quality, always keen to help either reception, waiters, cleaner or managers, they all are very responsive and helpful. Only area of improvement: the cooking can be more elaborated and tasty but prices are fair. You might want to eat somewhere else from time to time. Without hesitating we will come back to Horizon when visiting Koh Kood again and we will renew the experience of the taxi tours provided by the hotel!

We enjoyed our stay at Horizon so much! Comfy bed and room, beautiful views of the clear water through the palm trees, great massage with the sounds of waves lapping below! Laura at reception was very friendly and helpful.
My only constructive feedback would be to have a water filtration system available to guests in the main area, so guests can avoid having to drink only bottled water. I noticed a sign in the room promoting protecting the environment of koh kood and eliminating guests having to use 3 plastic bottles each per day or so would be amazing.

Helpful staff and great sea views. The beach is a minute away; free kayaks available. Snorkelling is OK. Short walk to 3 other resorts so you can eat in other places if you want. Ferry bus tickets easily arranged, motorcycle rental easily arranged. Free breakfast is western with eggs, meats, pancakes, fruit. Relaxed place for a relaxing stay. We would come back.

Whaouuu, one of the best view on the island, nice snorkling just in the front of the resort, the french team Stéphane and Fabi have done their very best to let me spend a so nice hollidays. Definitely a place to go.

The bar has a large selection of quality coffee. also the sunsets are very beautiful.

Nous avons passé 10 jours dans ce bel endroit et nous n'avons pas regretté notre choix. Nous avons spécialement apprécié, l'amabilité et les services du manager français, le calme et la vue sur la baie. Le bar de l'hôtel situé en contre-bas, est l'endroit idéal pour assister au coucher du soleil. Le confort des bungalows (breeze) est bon, sans être luxueux. Nous avons bien aimé la nourriture du restaurant. Il est très facile de varier les menus en allant dans les restaurants avoisinants situés à moins de 5 minutes à pied. Pour la baignade, nous avons bien aimé la petite plage de sable A-Na-Lay proche et facilement atteignable à pied. Un bel endroit également pour le snorkeling ! Le scooter, très utile, nous a permis de trouver d'autres plages, comme celle du Sunshine Resort, plus au sud. En résumé : un endroit où nous aimerions retourner.

Bei Ankunft wurden wir freundlich mit einem kühlen Drink empfangen. Während unser Gepäck in den Bungalow getragen wurde, haben wir alle Informationen zum Horizon Resort erhalten und konnten in aller Ruhe unsere Fragen platzieren.
Die Aussicht vom Restaurant/Rezeption ist Traumhaft schön. Die Anlage liegt auf einem kleinen Felsenhügel mit Gras, Palmen, Bäumen, Blumen und Büschen bewachsen. Sehr gepflegt und eine weite Sicht auf die Bucht.
Die Einzelbungalows sind auf dem Felsenhügel verteilt und mit Gehwegen verbunden.
Alle sind zum Meer ausgerichtet,wobei die vorderen 2 Reihen den Meerblick garantieren.
Nahe dem Wasser gibt es eine „Sunset Lounge“ mit perfektem täglichen Sonnenuntergang.
Es gibt mehrere Platformen von wo man aus ins Wasser gehen kann. Ein Sandstrand ist ca.50m entfernt zu erreichen. Das Wasser bietet sowohl Bade- als auch Schnorchelmöglichkeiten (Korallen und Fische).
Der erste Eindruck hat sich während des 5 tägigen Aufenthaltes nur bestätigt.
Eine gepflegte und ruhige Anlage auf der man sich wohlfühlen kann.

Splendida vista sul mare , bungalow grandi e ben arredati, bagno spazioso , pulizie tutti i giorni e staff molto cordiale. Nel resort si può mangiare , affittare motorini che sono indispensabili per girare l'isola.
Ci tornerò sicuramente !!!
