Update: I loved my ring so much, I went back to Tarun to help me design something a bit larger (2ct center diamond, 2 0.7ct diamonds on the sides) As expected, he delivered a perfect piece. My photos don’t really do it justice. I absolutely love my ring, and I won’t be going anywhere else for my future jewelry purchases.

A few months ago, I ordered a custom engagement ring based on my design. Tarun - the owner, personally guided me through the design process. I chose - Laboratory grown Diamond, in oval shape - 2.10 carats, G-VVS2 with GIA certificate, placed in crown in "East-West" position, with rose gold ring band.

The entire design process went smoothly. At first, I sent my inspiration and proposal along with exact guidelines. Successively, I received a CAD drawing with render. Ring production was executed in less than 2 weeks.

My fiancée Ann, felt in love with a ring as well as me, and more importantly, she said Yes.

Tarun was very involve in the whole process, answering every question and concern. He was taking care of the quality of the ring as well as timing. I can easily recommend Thai Native Gems for everyone in BKK.

I could not be happier with my experience with Tarun and Thai Native Gems. I would say that they exceeded my expectations, but that's not enough. They basically exceeded my best case scenario hopes for my engagement ring purchase. Tarun was professional, clear, and thorough throughout this process. Looking back, we exchanged over 40 emails over the past 2 months. I never felt pressured and Tarun provided several options across multiple price points, even navigating me away from options that would exceed my stated price range. When asked, he happily provided recommendations, which i was so glad to receive, as this was my first custom jewelry purchase. At the end of the day, the ring I received was absolutely perfect and better than I had imagined.

I'm going to be honest, the idea of sending this sum of money overseas to a business I had never visited was a bit scary. I went to great lengths to ensure that everything was legit, from examine past reviews on Google, Facebook, and TripAdvisor, to reverse image searching the pictures of past creations to ensure they were original. This was not due to any specific concerns from my experience, but rather an inherent fear of getting scammed. The more I saw and the more I worked with Tarun, the better I felt about giving him my business, which was a great decision. He updated me throughout the process and always responded quickly to any questions I had.

Thai Native Gems delivered the ring of my girlfriend's (now fiance's) dreams. Everything from the ring, to the box, paperwork, and delivery packaging were extremely professional. I had to have the ring independently appraised for insurance purposes, and in the states it appraised for almost double the purchase price. TNG was great to work with! I'm very pleased with how my ring turned out. The process was smooth, and despite my many specific requests, Tarun was able to make it happen! That's the beauty of custom making something exactly the way you want it. However, since all pieces are custom to the client's requirements, don't expect to go there to visit a shop with different models to pick and chose from. Come somewhat prepared, and Tarun will guide you as needed. Highly recommend!

I worked with Tarun at Thai Native Gems in Bangkok to design my fiancee's engagement ring. I chose a 3.25 carrot Yellow Sapphire with a hidden diamond halo, with diamonds on the side set on an 18k yellow gold band. He helped to keep the ring within my price point and discussed everything in detail, answering every question I had. The whole process was perfect from initial consultation, to choosing the stone, through the design process. Thank you to Tarun for all your help!! As someone who knows very little about jewellery, he guided me through the process with patience and reassuring knowledge. The whole process was very refreshing and I would definitely recommend anyone else who wants jewellery to come here and speak with Tarun.

I love my ring! Thai Native Gems, and in particular Tarun, live up to the hype. If you’re shopping around and torn between who to choose, you will not regret choosing TNG. I wanted a colored sapphire ring but I needed quite a bit of help from someone experienced with jewelry. I was also having a hard time finding a jeweler with a decent selection of non-blue sapphires.

I told Tarun my rough thoughts and he made the process so simple. I thought I wanted an orange-peach-pink center stone but he showed me several other options and I ended up loving a gray stone that I never would have known to ask for. He also helped me change the design several times when I changed my mind or when my requested shapes/sizes were unrealistically small.
I absolutely love the way the ring turned out. I loved the process. The price was less than I budgeted. I will be using TNG for all my jewelry going forward. Whether you are shopping for an engagement ring or gift or looking for a personal piece, this is the jeweler for you!

I was in a hurry to buy an engagement ring. I had only 2 days before going back home. Thai Native Gems specializes on custom designed rings. And the price would be 50% cheaper than in in-stock shops. Sounds appealing, but I will probably order the ring later with delivery service

I contacted Tarun via IG after I saw his post of a beautiful ring. With the specs I gave, he recommended a gorgeous radiant cut diamond. He is frank in giving his advice for the best quality matching the price, which is also excellent.
Picking up the stone was easy at his office (note, not a retail store but that's not an issue to me).
