Artur Restaurant

I have been to Artur Restaurant for 12 years. I was impressed by the romantic ambience, good services and privacy. The food was very delicious. For me, compared to another restaurant, the taste was remarkable and also overwhelming. It is hard to find a place to compare with In the past, I visited for dinner or lunch at Artur’s 3-4 times a week. I ate less before the covid epidemic because I traveled often. It was about 5-10 times a year, the food taste and service were never disappointing ever since. The place really classic and high quality in everything. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who looking for the best experience in dining.

I’ve been to this place for over 10 years and I go back there very often since the restaurant is so near to my house, so I’d dare to say I’ve been visiting the restaurant probably reaching 100 times already.

This is one of my favorite place for steak, oysters and martini. The quality and service has always been more or less consistent.

Food-wise, I like their attention details. The butter, the bread, the appetizers, they are all good. Their steaks are always perfectly cooked. The side orders are also perfectly cooked. For instance, the spinach where I always find other places over cooked. The sauces are perfect. And most of all, the price is reasonable comparing to other places with similar quality. The restaurant has also just got a new super expensive duck pressing machine by Christofle, so duck is also a must-try dish

The restaurant also invest in the interior and cutlery. It makes the food tastier when they use quality stuff.

They retain their employees very well and hence the service is consistently good. The hospitality and flexibility gives you an ease of mind when eating.

Drink list here is also very good. Wines are carefully selected and they don’t do a lot of mark up. Mr. Artur is an expert on wine, so you can trust him. The cocktails are also top notch. Don’t miss the martini here!! I also grow to like cafe royale and their gin & tonic selection too.

This is one of the restaurant that don’t do advertising. People who are here are told/ recommended by their friends. I’m also one of the person who have been recommending my friends & family to come here and they all like it.

Must try menu:
All the steaks, beef tartare (my favourite 🤩), oysters, Cesar salad, beef stroganoff, Dover Sole, duck

Must try drinks:
Martini (all of them are so good and you will enjoy how they serve the drink), Cafe Royale, Gin Tonic

My wife and I both enjoyed everything, from start to finish. The service, ambiance, food, drinks, music and everything else left nothing to be desired. Prime rib was outstanding, and we’ll be back again soon for the Wellington.

It’s hard to find restaurants like these.

We ended up having dinner at Artur on my birthday (25 Feb) quite by chance, as we had missed our reservation at another restaurant. Though the kitchen takes the last order at 930 pm they accommodated us at close to 10pm. Thank You. Turns out there must have been some divine intervention, because we felt we had entered the Paris of the 1920’s bygone era with its dark reds and velvets, chandeliers and its charismatic and larger than life Polish owner Artur who regaled us with his stories of years spent at fine dining establishments in Paris and then in New York.

The quality of the food was par excellence. We started out with the Lobster Bisque with a hint of X.O. Cognac, which was just delish. For our main course, my wife opted for the Australian Angus petit filet, while I had the 10oz Ribeye. Both steaks were done to perfection (Artur suggested medium rare). Along with that we had a side of sauteed green asparagus and the rich mousseline mashed potatoes. If our hotel was any closer we would have walked home as we were so full and satisfied.

A couple of other people I must not forget to thank . First is his elegant wife Suriya, who kept checking in on us regularly and made recommendations when we were in doubt. She also helped get us home, as the BTS had shut for the night. Also his long term staff member Meyow who chatted with us during our meal , telling us they also worked together in NY and have been together for over 20 years.

Although this is a Fine Dining establishment, the staff made us feel like we were at a house party. There was something very familiar and comforting.

I Highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening out, whether it is steak or seafood. You are bound to leave the restaurant with a smile on your face, both because of the quality of the food and the fact that it isn't heavy on your wallet for the quality of the food you are getting.

Thank you again Suriya & Artur. This birthday in Thailand will remain in my memory for a while.

Definitely 5 stars for this place. Starting from welcome drink, appetizer, white asparagus, escargot, pan-sear foie gras, venison steak, pre dessert, and creme brulee, all are scrumptious. Parking lot is at the hotel, same building. Recommend⭐

Ambience was amazing, service was delightful and food was very enjoyable with the owner himself, checking up on you to see if everything is okay! Will for sure be back as I am a big foodie and this restaurant deserves the recognition from me. Phenomenal!

Wonderful hospitality from Mr Artur himself. Steak was amazing.

Bisque soup excellente. Great "canard au sang" and our cote de boeuf was perfect , a real bearnaise sauce. French classic cuisine. Amuse bouche very creative. The restaurant was full but calm and quiet atmosphere. Love atmosphere.

The taste is guaranteed by Thailand Michelin Star. Fillet de Boeuf Artur is superb. Try Scallop, Pork Chop or Mushroom soup if you don’t take beef. Good ambience for date, executive or business dinner

One of the many Steakhouse in that area. The meat is delicious, but not cheap. I can recommend if you want enjoy a very good piece of meat.

Worth every dollar you spend! Amazing food and service compared to many other 5 start restaurants in Bangkok. I love the lighting and the tables felt cozy and elegant all at the same time. Very well trained staff and delicious food. It’s a Romaric corner for a Friday’s treat :)

One of the best restaurants I've experienced in Bangkok! Fois gras was off the charts. Service was impeccable especially when you order drinks that need to be shaken. Very extensive menu for beef and seafood with French character. I'd love fo back!

Fantastic and delicate food, wonderful atmosphere with great music and a friendly owner! Must try the Côte de bœuf and beef wellington along with the juicy crispy pork chop!

Good place for a private dining, high quality french restaurant , excellent service. No mistake here! If you like foie gras must try the foie gras sauce with their juicy steak.

Superb meal and superb service. Owner and host was exceptional in choosing a great wine for the meal, along with his friendly personality, made for a great evening!

Artur deliveres the total package as far as classic french restaurants go. The menu contains classics like fillet steaks with a wide choice of sides and sauces, all done perfectly - steak tartar prepared table side and adjusted to your preference, lobster bisque, escargot, Duck l’Orange and a wide variety of other classic french dishes.
The food is prepared with the utmost passion and care, and mr Artur and his lovely wife will make you feel most welcome.

Wine selection is wide, mr Artur has broad knowledge of the subject, and recommended wine pairings seems to always be a perfect match.

One could not ask anything more of a restaurant than what is delivered here, I give Artur my warmest recommendations.
