Khao Yai National Park

We had an amazing day here with a guide.

The national park is beautiful. Huge, spacious and filled with amazing wildlife to see in their natural habitat. Very well maintained and you can see local elephants, deers, antelopes, scorpions, owls, etc.

I would recommend to visit with an experienced guide that can help you spot the wild animals. I would definitely come again to visit the other spots as 1 day is simply insufficient.

What an excellent park. A number of attractions to see along the way. A couple of the waterfalls were restricted for safety reasons but still a great day out. All the monkeys were the highlight for me.

Goregous park came here for the nighttime safari drive.some suggestions would be selling the tickets at the entrance to the park also so that you can buy tickets and get different food than what is in the park. Took 45 minutes to get from entrance to the visitor center for tickets. Was unable to return back to hotel room for warmer clothes like was planned due to length of time to get to visitor center. Also would suggest using led spotlights for nigjttime safari much brighter and easier to see. Also thermal mapping for drivers so easier to fimd animals and direct light instead of driving and hoping to see something.

Got so lucky and saw monkeys and my first wild elephants twice within minutes.

It was one of the best parks I had been in. A must visit place when you are in khao yai. Managed to hike to one of the waterfalls, and the view is magnificent. Really enjoyed myself there.

Beautiful place for a few short hikes. We spent an afternoon and evening there and had time to complete two waterfall trails, one cliff trail and their night safari tour.

Kao Yai national park is beautiful place. Having waterfall and reservoirs. Wild animals and aight seeing. Lots of restaurant available. Temple and resort and hotels available. Strawberry gardens and sun flower garden available.

True Jungle experience walking on the various trails.. Elephants stay hidden unless you go further in, about 50km from entrance.

I had the chance to come to this park in May 2023 for work related matter and it was one of my best trip ever. The park is very clean, very pristine and very accessible. I think they kept as much of the flora and fauna untouched as possible while providing easy access by vehicles.

We can drive into deeper part of the park and saw wild animals roaming freely. We saw deers grazing and resting, hornbills flying and resting, python crossing the road at night, golden neon bug, porcupine, and others.

The cafeteria serves some good food too, with views that are speechless. i also saw a family of deers drinking by the river. All in all, wonderful place.

Do what you believe, and believe in what you do. We went to the temple to make sacrifices. My wife had asked for my son to transfer to another school and it came true. Who knew? The ticket lady didn't even charge us for entrance fee. It's free for those who go to the temple to make a wish or sacrifices.

Recommended to go only if you’re driving. Drove up to a field with tall grass. Great vibe, only con is the weather, hot! 🔥

A lot of things to visit, if you’re lucky, you will get to see animals along the roadside.

highly recommend for night safari. 600thb per car , can share for 6 passengers. special experience to looking for wide animals at night.

Dagerous road but nice place. Take care if u have your own car.

This place is worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful park! Some helpful tips for visiting (we visited in December): entrance fee for foreigners is 400baht per adult even if you have a work permit. If you'd like to do night safari, you should book ahead at the visitor center, we booked the morning of, one car is 600baht, you ride their trucks. You have to enter the park main entrance before 6pm for the safari tour, it does take at least half and hour from the entrance to the visitor center so plan accordingly. Bring warm clothes if you are visiting in the cooler months. We saw a few deers, foxes, porcupines! Overall, fun trip and beautiful places to take photos too.

We had good time together. My 1st time ever to do camping. It is brilliant 🤩.

Very accessible. Monkeys are sometimes on the road, drive carefully. Also mice rods for cycling. We met several cyclists crossing the park.
Lots of public toilets and place to get food and drinks at see sights and visitor center and waterfalls...
Plenty of birds to watch in particular hornbills.

A very good place to drive, hike and enjoy nature.
