Really good day at the park. Two treks, one took us an jour, the second, tougher, an hour abd and a half. Saw a monitor lizard, deer, and on the way back an elephant with her calf. Beware of thieving monkeys!
There are several facilties to get food and drinks, plus a gift shop
It's possible to hire a guide.

Excellent reception when arriving at the national park. There are free toilets, coffeehouse, and very helpful staff to give you all the information about the many places to visit at the park

absolutely great experience, if you don't come on a weekend or public holiday. Unfortunately the old camping site just before the waterfall is closed, since a man got killed in his tent by an elephant. coming here since 30 years I still love it madly

We hired a car to drop us off at the visitors center (about 17km from the north gate entrance). It was 700THB for our wonderful 68 year old guide Mr. Boonjah who walked us through a densely forested approx. 3 hour hike on trail #5. We saw a hornbill’s nest, short tailed monkeys, bear claw marks, and lots of cool plants and flowers! The trail ends at the Nong Phak Chi wildlife watching tower. Pro tip: when they suggest the anti-leech socks, take ‘em 😅

Beautiful park, done great nature trails. Guides available from the visitor center.
Some of the trails through forest are not well marked, it can be easy to get lost. Guides are highly recommended.

Amazing and fun to watch those cheeky monkeys (macaques) trying to steal bags and food from the tourists, the talk on the wildlife corridor and the explanation on the work being carried out to combat illegal logging and poaching was amazing

Beautiful. They have a nice mix of things to do - view points, camping areas, and some wildlife too. But please note, 400 baht for foreigners and 20 baht for locals to enter. If you're biking in, you don't have to pay an entrance fee.

Spend a couple of days here so you can explore this national park better and longer! Visit the information centre firstly to book your night safari and guides. They speak decent English and very helpful when it comes to explaining the routes for first-time visitors. Would return again!
