Why can’t Malaysia Embassy staff update Google Maps address as well where majority of people rely on it ?

The embassy is now at Kronos Office Building, few hundreds metres from the old place. The office is grade A with auto scan car plate and pay as you exit the gate via QR scan, please make sure you request for free parking coupon from the security guard at the embassy.

Visited Malaysian Embassy on 8/2/2024 for a visa transfer from an old to a new passport as required by Thai Immigration’s procedures.

The process was straightforward: photocopy the main and visa pages from the old passport, along with the main page and entry stamp from the new one.

Payment of RM200 in CASH ONLY is required.

There was no need to queue and not many people were present.

The entire process took less than expected, with a turnaround time of 3 business days for pickup.

Take note that new location is at Kronos Sathorn Tower, Level 17, 46 North Sathorn Road. And mind their office hours as well at 8.30 - 12.00 & 1.00-4.00 from Monday to Thursday. Visit the front desk to get the QR code needed to enter the lift and go level 17.

All in all, this is one of my best embassy experiences. The staff were kind in letting me know where I can take passport photo and print my documents nearby. They were also patient and kind when explaining all the requirements or documents needed for the process.

Opposite of old location. Free parking 1 hour at Kronos. As always, kind and helpful staff.

At the countrary of many embassies, the experience going there is a good one.
It starts with the polite and smily security guard, then by the helpful and friendly staff's advice. If only other countries could follow this example! Thank you Malaysia.

Temporally relocation that is not far from the original location. Experienced staff is very friendly and helpful. Was in and out within 20 mins. Staff said the embassy will relocate back to the original location next year or so. Enjoyable experienced overall.

The embassy is on Level 17 of Kronos Sathorn Tower. Parking is available, first hour is free and 50 Baht thereafter.

Consular section is open from 8.30am. Cash payment only. Bring your own pen, it cost 20 Baht. Reception provides photocopying service at 5 Baht per copy.

Certificate of Good Conduct is 200 Baht. Certificate of Residency is 200 Baht.

Officer at consular counter was friendly and answered all my enquiries clearly.

Receive very great service from Mr.Somkid every time, big thumbs up for him. He's nice & patience on explaining every single request we asked no matter on the phone or counter. Keep up the good work, wish you stay healthy & safe to the rest of the staff too :)

I cannot understand some of the negative reviews associated with the staff here. Maybe it was a different time? Maybe it was a different staff they encountered? All the staff I encountered at consular office were very friendly and helpful, right from the guard to the administrative staff. In fact, they were than friendly - providing every possible advice and suggestion to assist with the issues I faced. Moreover, they were generous with their time to explain matters to me. Many thanks and keep up the good work!

I emailed the embassy and the consular officer Nor Azizi, was very helpful. On my visit, the staff, Ann who attended to me and my wife was very courteous and helpful too.

Thanks to them, we managed to get everything done smoothly.

Mr Imran is extremely patient, helpful and polite in his explanation. Manage to get everything needed submitted in 2-3 hrs time. Bring your pen or buy the Embassy pen at 20 baht 😅

Tips: Nearest 7-11 located just outside the embassy got Photo Studio shop and Photocopy/printing shop.

Such a pleasant visit to the Embassy of Malaysia. I was there on the 24th of May 2019, around 10am and the counter staff (if i'm not mistaken, she was Ms Anne) was super kind and so helpful. I literally managed to asked her everything that i needed to and she was so patient to explain to me one by one in detail. Thank you and i'm truly so happy!

Good location, quite and clean place with very supportive and friendly staff. Keep up the good work. I am surprised to see the bad review for this embassy specially about Thai lady at counter but I found her very polite and nice.

All staff were friendly, even the security officers. And I would like to thank all the helpful staff especially Ms Thanawan and Mr Azizi , who has helped my need as best as they can during the difficult covid times.
