We were careful to choose an elephant friendly place. This one had just one old elephant called Samboon. The owner of the farm also just do one to one meetings. We could choose any better place to go. It was the highlight of our trip to Thailand!

An amazing place to meet a 60 years old elephant, treated well and ethically by his owner. Samboon is a really friendly elephant, which you can meet, feed, walk with and bath. This experience cannot be missed while in the area.

This place is amazing and made my wife's elephant dreams come true. We had a private experience with sonboon. We fed and bathed him in a respectful way. This elephant has had a tough life and is now being treated with the dignity he deserves. This is a family run operation and I would highly recommed coming here.

A family farm with one elderly and friendly elephant named Sanboon. Well cared by the two brothers. You can cook and feed Sanboon, learn about his lifestyle and bathe with him in the lake.

It was a magical experience that exceeded all of my expectations. Our guides Aek and his brother introduced us to their happily retired elephant Somboon (which means big belly!) and adorable dog Leo, and taught us about the history of elephants in Thailand as well as their family's history of elephants. Aek also is a photography genius, on top of being an elephant whisperer! He even showed us around his farm, with lots of beautiful bamboo, banana, pineapple, jackfruit, durian, curry leaves and more.

Picked up from our hotel by Top, the guide. He had amazing knowledge about the elephants in Thailand. We did so much with the elephant, prepared his meal and fed him bananas. The elephant was so happy and well looked after. It was an amazing experience for myself and my girlfriend. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Very personal one on one time spent preparing food for, feeding and swimming with Somboon the retired elephant owned and beautifully taken care of by the Sonchana family. This is a must if you are in the area....signage on the road is a little hard to see.

Great experience! The hosts gave us a warm welcome, they thought us how to make food for the elephant and local food for us. The bath was amazing. All the family members were very kind.

We were really blown away by the kindness of Aek and his family, both in how they welcomed us when we showed up unnounced and how they care for their retired 57-year-old elephant Samboon... like part of their family. When we met Samboon, he was munching on bamboo and grass in the jungle, happy as can be. This is the place to visit if you are looking to see the happy life of an elephant on a small family-owned farm rather than a big camp.
