Idyllic location in the forest, rooms are plain but comfortable. Food good. Would be great to have some social space

We had such a great stay at Anurak. It’s a great place to relax and also enjoy some of the many activities they have on offer. We did the canoe trip on the River Sok and also joined the cooking experience at a local organic farm, both were amazing experiences. The food at the lodge was great and the staff were all so lovely!

Good to know: you are sleeping right in the jungle and you can enjoy the sounds of different birds, chicken and other animals.

We enjoyed the beautiful nature and the friendliness and attentiveness from the staffs. Room had a great mattress for a super comfy sleep. The food in the restaurant is clean and very tasty. And that all while listening to the nature: magic! You can make a nice little walk over a trail the staff happily explained to us. The Manager George, his assistant and all staffs were very pleasant. We RECOMMEND !!!

I cannot say enough good things about this place.
First off, they had a driver pick us up at the Krabi airport and drive us to the lodge, which is about a 2 hour drive. On the way, the night manager called the driver to talk to us. Since the place is so out of the way and we stayed during the low season, there are not places to go get dinner around, and we were en route to arrive after the last dinner call, so they called to find out what we wanted for dinner so they could have it ready for us when we arrived. We were greeted very warmly upon arrival with a welcome drink made of grass. The night manager (I feel terrible that I do not remember his name) went over some activity options with us while we waited for our dinner, and he made arrangements for us to do a boat tour of the lake at Khao Sok National Park.
After dinner, he walked us to our private bungalow, which was beautiful.
It’s not a hotel room, so the usual amenities were not there. No tv, no Wi-Fi in the room (WiFi available in the public eating area), and no mini bar (water bottles provided in the room). Also we slept in a mosquito net. We knew this going in, so we were not bummed about not having these things. It really added to the experience.
We were greeted warmly at breakfast and spoke with the general manager Chris, who was very friendly and concerned for our well-being and safe journeys.
When we arrived after our day activity, the night manager made us a mock tail- he had remembered that we do not drink alcohol and made us a delicious drink that went with our delicious dinner.
The following morning, their driver took us to Krabi. The whole stay was amazing and I wish we could come back often! (We live in the US and it’s too far for frequent visits!)
I have not yet even mentioned the view from the lodge, which was out of this world amazing! It was an unforgettable experience from start to finish.

We had a wonderful stay. Simply stunning surroundings, brilliant facilities, excellent food and service. Management bent over backwards to make sure our time there was perfect.

"A Tranquil Adventure" I had an incredible experience at Anurak Community Lodge! From the moment that I stepped off the bus to the last evening at this luxury lodge!

I was welcomed with a refreshing lemongrass drink, and enjoyed exceptional customer service from my entire stay to my hiking, canoeing, and rafting tours. My canoe trip was early in the morning, with light rain drizzle, so it felt as if I had the river and mountains to myself. I highly recommend the river tour during the rain. I was able to just relax and absorb the incredible views along the river, and I was also able to explore the caves while the tour guide prepared tea for me, served in bamboo cups that I could also keep as cute souvenirs! My last night I enjoyed an amazing farewell jungle dinner, prepared by their staff on an open fire at their arts and crafts center surrounded by rivers, mountains, exotic flowers, and copious banana trees.

As a true nature lover, I loved staying at this eco-friendly lodge, and enjoying the breathtaking view of the many limestone mountains above the thick morning clouds. I got to experience this amazing view every morning while having breakfast, and at night, I fell asleep to the sound of crickets, raindrops, and birds singing. The lodge was so serene and peaceful, I felt rejuvenated throughout my entire stay.

I did not get to experience the entire tour during my brief three night stay, so Anurak Community Lodge, you will see me again!

It was one of the best experiences in Thailand! We loved our room! It was so nice, each house has a fruit name! Loved it!

Good breakfast and food in general, big portions!
We did an overnight trip with them at the lake and was amazing too!
We also did the self guided tour around Anurak and loved it!

This place is amazing. Incredibly beautiful and you wake up to all the beautiful jungle sounds. On top of that George is a 5-star host who brings a really calm energy to the property and went out of his way to make us comfortable and help delivery a delicious breakfast along with the cook 🙏.

We had an amazing stay thanks to the great staff who offered an amazing amount of service and overall were just so nice. The atmosphere is relaxed and the scenery and views around the lodge incredible. Rooms are convenient, comfy and stylish, all in all a perfect stay.

Very friendly staff, stunning view and excellent dinner options, including bamboo cooking! Bamboo raft tour was beautiful, and could have been longer :)

Great place to stay, the staff was very friendly and the house was clean. comfortable bed and AC was working well. The restaurant is on a great location, beautiful view. the dishes they serve are outstanding, my personal favourite was the chicken with cashewnut. It was a pleasure to stay here.

If you look for peaceful area in a green environment, this is the place! Very nice staff that surprised me with a birthday cake. Fresh coffee and good & healthy food. I only recommend to book a non-adjacent bungalow as separating walls are not really soundproof. For nature lovers!

I spent several days at the Anurak Lodge some time ago and enjoyed it a lot.
My yellow bungalow was comfortable, everything worked fine, and the surrounding greenery always pleasant. No Wi-Fi in the room, but some signal in the dining area, which is a neat place to hang out anyway, enjoying a cold beer during the sunset is highly recommended.
With decent bicycles available it was easy to explore the country side and there were some interesting excursions available as well, the lake trip is a must do!

Lovely hotel with bungalows elevated above ground level. Rooms are spaceous and well decorated, with an adjoining balcony overlooking the rainforest and mountains. In the central dining area you can have breakfast and dinner while enjoying the view. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here or more than one occasion and the food was great each time!

Where do I even start...

To begin, the property is in a beautiful part of the Khao Sok National Rainforest. Great views of the mountains with the lodges intertwined within the forest. Only a minute from the main road, gives easy access to local destinations but far enough to feel secluded and off the grid.

The room was lovely, quaint and clean. and has all the amenities you need for a jungle get away. The bungalows are all separate and provide plenty of privacy and quiet so that you can hear the sounds of the jungle.

The restaurant located at the lodge has incredible views and a great selection of native cuisine. Although pricey for Thailand, the food is delicious. One great thing is that breakfast is included and they have some great options!

Now to the best part... The STAFF IS AMAZING. I have never been to a more hospitable establishment. Everyone was super friendly and attentive to our needs during our stay.

Leky one of the staff seriously made our stay and he is the sweetest person we met on our trip in Thailand. We will be coming back again just because of how great the whole staff team was.

Lastly, I want to thank George the owner of Anurak for going above and beyond to help me in a time of crisis. During our trip I had been bitten by a Monkey which raised concern for my health. George was nice enough to take me to the local hospital and stay there throughout my care helping answer questions and translate with the local hospital staff.

I absolutely recommend this place.. You wont be disappointed!!!

Elephants were a dream come true, and the longtail boat ride on the lake was as beautiful as pictured online.

Highly Recommend escaping to Khao Sok!

As a frequent visitor to Khaosok it was very pleasant to see a different approach to hospitality at Anurak Community Lodge, the resort itself is located around 30 minutes from the main strip of Khao Sok Town. Which let's visitors enjoy the breathtaking views of rainforest and mountain scenery in a more tranquil and relaxed pace. I was positively surprised by the high level of customer service, food quality as well as the distinctively developed tours, which have been highly personalized and educational. I was sceptical at first about the bungalows but in the end I appreciated the high level of amenities and luxury in these pristine natural surroundings.
