Fantastic island, beautiful. There are so many ways to get to it. Different packages from scober diving to just hiring one the small boats a total of 1250 Bhat return, there was five of us so potentially, try and hangle the price down if there are less of you.

BE WARNED THERE IS A ISLAND TAX OF 250 BHAT PER person that nobody tells you about until you get there.

Great beaches, sunshine, and clear water, perfect for snokling.

Don't forget your bug spray!

My 1-day tour here was simply awesome! The ocean was so clear, it brought me pure happiness. Snorkeling in the clean waters allowed me to see vibrant fishes and amazing creatures. It's a must-visit spot for an unforgettable experience.

Nang Yuan Island is one of the top things to visit in Koh Tao and there is a reason for that. This uniquely shaped island is extremely beautiful and focuses on being a green island as well. You can for example not bring any plastic bottles on the island.

The hike to the viewpoint is steep, with lots of mosquitoes, but the view is 100% worth it.

That is the one beautiful Island in the world, top 5 in Thailand, here include 3 small islands near each other. After ebb tide during 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. you will see sand road, walking path of each island. This is amazing!

One of the most beautiful islands of Thailand , this can be reached by a boat ride from koh samui. There are options of some hotel if you want to spend a night. But yes, that night would be damn right in the lap of nature with only sounds of the waves. Can also be reached for a day trip. Definitely a must visit if you are in koh samui. Little hiking is required to reach the viewpoint but once you reach the view is mind blowing.

(and in the ferry you have complimentary stay in vip room ) The island tour includes a buffet lunch. Some of the spots I took were from the private zones of the tour. the tour start It's very early in the morning so there aren't many people yet. Recommend you to come after Songkran in Thailand onwards. because during Songkran there will be a lot of people 💥 If you want privacy Let's come Monday to Friday. small island but bright water It's very hot during the day. You can rent diving equipment from the water shop. But there is also a deposit (~1000baht)

Beautiful island, the water is amazing. Don't bring any plastic stuff if you don't want to get fined. There is only one restaurant, so everything on the island a bit high prices.

Really nice place to spend a few hours. We got there on a water taxi from Lotus Bar on the beach - 300 baht return per person.

The view point was very busy when we arrived at noon - but only took about 20 minutes before we were able to take our pictures. Be aware you do have to climb some rocks at the very top.

There are a lot of signs saying you can’t lay on beach towels. We walked to the far end of the sand bar and were lucky to find a shady spot by the rocks to chill on our towels and no one bothered us about it.

One side of the sand bar was a bit choppy so we mostly swam on the other side. We were glad to have borrowed some snorkeling gear from our hotel and if you swim out a little ways there’s tons of fish, urchins, etc.

Really enjoyed our 4 hour visit here, which was the perfect amount of time.

Highly highly highly recommend this place for people to enjoy snorkeling without any diving or swimming knowledge. White sands, clear water with beautiful fishes and crabs in sight. It’s a short boat ride from Koh Tao to Koh Nang Yuan. You need to pay small entrance fee and no food or plastic is allowed. Island closes at 5, so be sure to go there early morning to spend the whole day. You can rent snorkeling equipment from there and enjoy. There are also hiking paths and places to view the islands from above.

Unique scenery. I came here twice just to take a photo with that famous view point (you know what I'm saying about. ; ) ). Swimming here is very nice because of the crystal green water and a lot of fishes.

Must see on Thailand! One of the most beautiful places we saw! :) Nature is beautiful and hard to represent on photos. Snorkeling and diving here are great. Here is the place for diving learners. Just beautiful...

Amazing place!! It’s so beautiful and exotic place. View it’s beautiful, you cam see many colors in the ocean. I totally recommend visit this place if you ever in Koh Samui.

How to get to Koh Nang Yuan Viewpoint

The viewpoint on Koh Nang Yuan offers one of the most famous and photographed panoramas in Thailand.

Featured on postcards all over the world, it’s well worth taking the time to pay a visit and to try snorkeling and hike up to the viewpoint.

A great place to spend a day. You can do many water activities on the island, including snorkelling, scuba diving, and simply racing and chilling at the beach. There are also hotels and restaurant to stay overnight if you like and to enjoy lunch on the island. It took about 1.5 hours by ferry from koh Samui to the island. The way was very bumpy, make sure you have sea sick pills with you. If you are not a water lover, You can climb up to the top of the hill and look over two islands. The way up was a bit harsh due to many steps.
