La Moon Hostel

The best hostel I have ever stayed! The hostel is located in a fantastic location of Bangkok. It is a beautiful representation of the city and the history. Non and Tong made my stay unforgettable and they could not be more friendly, helpful and genuinely great people. If I could rate this hostel higher than 5 stars I would most definitely! I highly recommend staying and I look forward to returning one day soon!

Very happy with this place. The location is perfect. Second time in Bangkok and I always try to find a place around this area. The hostel is very clean and quiet. Awesome toilets and common spaces, every detail is perfect.The owner is very friendly and nice, willing to help you with anything you may ask him. He book for us a minivan to the airport, and he even came with us to pick it. So highly recommended, I'll come back if I had the opportunity.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Fab location, close enough to everything we wanted to see and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I booked for one less person by accident and they accommodated for us quickly. I put all the wrong booking info in and they were so nice about it.
The place is clean and well kept, nice beds, AC rooms and clean bathrooms. The atmosphere is great with the staff, guests and friends mingling outside every night and we wished we could have stayed longer and got to know everyone more. If I come to Bangkok again I would definitely stay here, got more than my moneys worth!

The best hostel in Bangkok! Pantong is the most genuine host you will find. He really looked after us during our stay, would recommed this place to everyone! Aircon you have your own remote to set it how you like and its powerful which is worth it weight in gold! comfortable beds, decent showers great location

La Moon Hostel is conveniently located in the center of Bangkok. The neighboring landmarks make it easy to navigate around the city, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby to grab snacks. The rooms are affordable and the host is extremely kind and welcoming.

I came alone to the hostel after travelling with friends. i have never met a nicer man in my life. Not only did we chat for hours but he went to every level to make sure i was comfortable. Himself and his son, my new friends and I ate beautiful food and felt like we were really being looked after. we learnt each other languages and i made friends with everyone in the hostel and reccomended everyone else to come and stay here. the rooms were quiet, comfortable, safe and clean. A great location to Khao san road, Soi Rumbutti and China Town. also the room has a key fob so you are able to leave and return whenever, plus there is free Coffee, tea, friut and snacks avalible at any time.(also shampoo, soap, hair dryers, hand towls, towls, thai towls, washing bowls). i never want to leave, 100% coming back anytime im in Bangkok! Thankyou so much for having me ! Kap khun ka!

Cozy and relaxing hostel in old town Bangkok

· Location is perfect for people who like to explore the old town Bangkok.
Khao San Road, Giant Swing, Golden Mount Temple, Phanfa Leelard Pier, etc. are within walking distance. Walking to Grand Palace or Wat Pho is also possible.
A canal is just in front of the hostel, and on weekdays except Mondays there is a local market along the canal. Felt more like a local than a tourist when staying here.
The bed is large and comfy, and the shower is good with steady hot water and water pressure.
The owner is very friendly, attentive and helpful. He even prepared some food as breakfast for guests.
Felt at home during my stay here.

Stayed here several times during our time in Thailand and it was by far the best, room's are clean and tidy, Phantong was amazing helped us with planning day trips and recommended some brilliant meals truly a great host. Look forward to the day that we can come back again and stay here

Nice and clean place, the beds are wide and comfy, some dormitories have their own bathrooms and the location is so convenient!
You can hang out at the front of the house with the other guests or stay on the balcony upstairs if you don't feel like mingling.
The owner is very nice, helpful and great company, you will feel at home in no time!

Great hostel in a quiet charming neighborhood directly behind the city hall and near all famous sites of Bangkok. Charming traditional wooden Thai house. Not near the BTS but many buslines on Ratchadamnoen only 3 min. walking including direct bus to BTS Ratchathewi station. Cheap 4-bed dorm, aircon use unlimited in room. Modern, clean bathrooms. Highly recommend

Really clean, great value, free toast and jam and the staff are really friendly so much so that when I needed to get my wounds cleaned and redressed from a motorbike crash 2 weeks prior they drove me to a hospital and translated everything and stayed with me the whole time. I even offered to give the owner 200 baht for his trouble but he flat out refused my offer.

Can't recommend La Moon enough I will definitely be staying here again.

The la moon hostel is definetely the place to be when you are in Thailand as a backpaper. The owner is one of the kindest people i ever met. The place is new and everything is very clean.

Nice owner, but not much English. Place is small and intimate, well kept and in a good neighborhood. About 12 min walk to all the craziness.
