Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort

It is a great resort, truly a 5-star experience! Everything was fantastic, especially food and service. The service level is one of the best I have ever experienced. The hotel has two parts and the modern one (Avani+) is quite different from the older part overlooking the river. The water boat and taxis is the best way to get around, because traffic in Bangkok may be brutal. It was a very pleasant trip and stay at this resort.

This is a beautiful Thai-style hotel in a great location. What sets it apart is the stunning riverfront and pool area. Really good choice of restaurants too with a bridge across to the Avani. The rooms are good if not getting a little tired.

It's a luxe hotel with an amazing breakfast spread. Very well decorated and maintained although it's been around for some time. Location by the river is nice but it only has the Riverside Plaza shopping centre and nothing else around the vicinity.

We had a 3 night stop over in Bangkok on our trip to Thailand in February for our honeymoon. We stayed at Anantara and it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. The service and attention to detail in every part of the hotel was outstanding. The setting and location was excellent and really easy access into the city. Cannot thank the hotel enough for making the first part of our trip so special. We really hope we will be able to come back one day in the future!!! Highly recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay in Bangkok! Clean room, very friendly staff, and nice aesthetics/atmosphere across the property. Some of the restaurants and excursions seemed a bit overpriced compared to what we could find on our own, but glad there were different options available on site. The hotel is also conveniently connected to a mall with several places for shopping, food, drinks, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. Thank you very much :)

Anantara as always, on point. The breakfast buffet is truly one of the best. Highly recommend the club lounge experience. Staff and facilities are exceptional. A haven in an exciting city.

Stayed here for a conference, it's a great hotel, a bit busy in the lobby, and friendly staff throughout. Breakfast buffet is great with lots of options and outdoor seating next to the river. Gym is great as well. The river boat to the sky train is very convenient. It's a bit of time to get to downtown Bangkok or to the airport, but it's a treat to be along the river. Also easy to take a taxi up the road to Icon Siam. Would definitely bring my family to stay here.

What a lovely resort! The rooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. There are beautiful views of the river and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Pool is wonderful and there are so many restaurants to choose from! The breakfast buffet is absolutely insane. Perfect place to begin our honeymoon!

We stayed in a room with a king size bed for 4 nights around the Chinese new year days.

The staff called Jade helped us to organize some private tours (one for the grand palace, and one for Ayutthaya)
And tour guide staffs were fantastic, knowledgeable and absolutely nice people to spend half/a day with.

The room was so clean. The room had a Nespresso machine if you are coffee person it’s appreciated.
Breakfast is fantastic. Good morning sunrise view and You may find your favorite from buffet style foods.
It can be very busy at breakfast.

At the pool, it would be family atmosphere, busy and sometimes hard to get seats.
At the spa, the massage was authentic Thai style. It was the best massage ever, very professional.

My partner and I couldn’t believe that we were starting our holiday in this amazing hotel.

The level of service and friendliness from the staff, especially Sandy and NJ, were outstanding.

Although the bathrooms are on the slight verge of starting to appear dated this minor issue is far surpassed by the rest of the amenities and services offered. The sprawling breakfast was definitely a highlight.

The complimentary boat from the hotel into the central boat stop was unexpected and enabled us to explore Bangkok with ease.

This hotel was certainly a major highlight of our time in Thailand. Definitely want to come back and stay here.

The Anantara is a 5 star hotel. The hotel and grounds were beautiful. The service from the staff was great. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a large variety of food and the food was good quality. The hotel has many restaurants. I very much enjoyed my stay at the hotel and would recommend.

We visited Anatara for the dinner cruise run by the hotel. It's absolutely stunning inside! Everything was very clean and neat. The staff were all very kind and polite. The decor is exquisite. There seems to be a lot to do and see on property. It's a beautiful hotel.

This was one of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. From arrival to departure, we had excellent service in a truly beautiful location.
We arrived in the afternoon after a bad flight with my husband being unwell. They had our room ready for us and they called a doctor to visit us in the room. Until our departure the staff kept checking on my husband. They fulfilled all our wishes without any hesitation.
In regards to the food provision, we had excellent breakfast included and we also had a poolside meal and dinner at the longtail bar. Both were great. Prices are obviously a lot more than going in a local restaurant but you pay for the convenience and the surroundings.
The pool area is amazing. You feel like you are in an exotic resort in an island rather than in the middle of a busy city.
The rooms are beautiful and excellently maintained.
This is a 30 year old hotel that maintains its original charm but also looks timeless. How do I know? I stayed in this resort 26 years ago and I feel it hasn’t changed much, but it still looks like an amazing hotel. I was very touched to speak to a porter who has worked there for 28 years.
I would go back to Bangkok just to stay at Anantara.

Stayed here for a conference and I have to say the service is immaculate from check-in to check-out. The only slight drawback is the room, which is a bit old and the flushing system wasn't working well at first but they got it rectified rather quickly. Overall, a great relaxing stay albeit the busy conference schedule.

This is a wonderful place to stay at. They are so welcoming and modern, and the fact that you can get a room facing Asiatique the Riverfront was an experience that you can not forget. Everything is done through an app available for Android and Apple, ordering food taxi, chats, all of these can be done through the app.

It was our 6th visit to an Anantara Hotel. The service is extraordinary. This hotel offers likely the best breakfast buffet in all Bangkok. The whole hotel feels like a little oasis in the buzzing city which is great after a busy shopping day. Great restaurants and bars available and nice riverfront location.
