Well worth the price of the lift. The views are amazing and the hikes give you an extra perspective on the area. Get here early as parking gets full quickly. There are shuttle busses from parking lots further out, so it's not a major problem.

Ahh Jasna.. this season it provided an unforgettable skiing adventure! Despite the morning lift queues and challenging main tracks, I had an absolute blast skiing off-piste in the off-road areas. The freedom to explore untouched terrain added an extra thrill to my experience. Highly recommend venturing off the beaten path for an exhilarating twist to your ski trip. If you are coming with car I would recommend paying for parking in the app it's a bit cheaper and easier.

Yet again, in winter season it’s superb place to visit.

Blue tracks however are pretty narrow(although they are slow), and we prefer red but much wider

Jasna skiing… everything is perfect such as slope condition, not queueing and stunning view. If you are not fully ready for ski (beginner), just hit the road for trying. Jasna is ready for you 😁

Beautiful views, although quite windy and cloudy. Amazing place to ski. Queues to gondolas are pretty short - you have to wait no more than 10 minutes. On the peak there is also a small hotel, a restaurant, toilets and a souvenir shop but it's really expensive.

Very good ski resort. From my perspective one of the best for our region (Slovakia/Czech/Poland). Prices bit high but as everywhere. It’s good to come after fresh snow fall. Ski tourers friendly !! ♥

Chopok probably is the most visited mountain in Slovakia. It provides for one of the best round-views – you can see half of the country from the top. It also is the best skiing resort in Slovakia. Great choice of downhill skiing slopes, and cross-country skiing track

Climb from the Jasná valley takes about 2 hours and is easy. Not to be missed!

Really beautiful scenery. Although usually you have to got to be a bit lucky to have the beautiful views down to valleys and surrounded mountains. Good advise - check the weather forecast for the day of your trip and ‘feel’ the weather even before your way up there. The conditions may change in a snap of a finger (as you can see on the videos and the pictures attached) and you might find yourself in the very thick clouds and get lost in milky fog.
Once you lucky though, you are about to see something unforgettable - stunning view on both sides of Lower Tatras.

When the sun is out , and Chopok is not closed, it’s awesome! Spent 4 days there on Jasna Skicenter, but only 2 days was Chopok open for skiing. If there is strong wind you can not go up to the top , as it will be closed.

Amazing to be here! More than 2000 meters above the sea-level! Very fresh air, beautiful view for the surrounding high mountains! Once you have to be here, just hoping a nice, sunny weather without strong wind. I live to be here and look around. It has been taken my breath away...

After high season this place looks good. conditions are almost perfect, no lines and tasty bombardino ;)

Highly recommended hiking site the views are breathtaking, but if you're not sure that you can do the whole hike of the slope down- buy in advance a round ticket to the cable car. There is a discount if you buy the tickets in advance on the app.

Nice views at the top. One can use the cable car to go up (almost to the peak). There are restaurants, hotel and souvenir shop at the cable car top station

Highly recommended to take the cable 🚡 car, drink coffee and maybe eat something.
Go up and walk to the top peak to watch the surrounding view.

we ran on some mountain goats while we were going from Dumbier to Chopok. My guess is that they expected that we have food. Unfortunately, we didn't have any. But anyway, they went down a bit on the road and left after a few minutes.

Incredible views , magic place. Great adventure for kids.

You can enjoy the pick or ride the cable cart to both sides of the mountain.
There are mountain downhill carts on the southern slopes.
Bring warm clothes.

Fantastic skiing! Very beautiful environment, not so expensive, as in Austria etc, middle of march -15°C on the top! Lots of snow. Nice elevators, nice country stile cantines on every level! Fantastic remembrance!
30 years later. Still missing this place.

Rotunda restaurant on the top of the Chopok hill will give you definitely the best view on surrounding hills and majestic High Tatras mountains. They provide finest coffee with cakes when you're staying for a little bit or food and drinks for longer relaxing.
