Hotel Grand Jasná

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights just before the Easter holidays. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
Food was always delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Our favourite is a Wellness centre. As we stayed mid week, it was almost empty and relaxing. Sauna was kept at a good temperature.

There are a couple of cable cars right next to the hotel.

Would definitely recommend!

We came here for lunch when we were skiing at jasná as the club sandwiches here are delicious, there is a play room for kids and the staff for the most part are really friendly apart from one very tall, bald waiter who was so rude! He purposefully ignored the table and then when we went up to the bar to order he ignored us for a few minutes each time before reluctantly serving. The other two waiters were lovely and really helpful.

Beautiful place with wonderful views. The hotel has its own ski lift right next to the facility. Food very good, service nice. I recommend!

Nice hotel, we stayed in a deluxe room, which was very nice, very warm, service was excelent, food was very tasty , diffrent selection every evening, also ski rental in the hotel needs a 5 star rating, guys were very nice and helpful. Will go again

Very good hotel located in a few steps from slopes. It has ski room with lockers on the -1 floor for comfortable preparations. Room was not big, but well equipped and with comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was really good with large selection of food. SPA area was great- salt, aroma and finnish saunas, outdoor jacuzzi, pool. For children there were animation programs every day.
Skipass was included in the accomodation cost.

Great place to stay with kids, for hiking, skiing in winter and relax. All staff was very nice, food was also very good.
In special offer we bought, we had included also other water parks and cableways for free, what saved us a lot of money. Rooms weren' t very large, but we didn't spend there much time. Prices for food were as you would expect in mountain resort. Wellness is quite small, one pool, two outside whirpools, steam sauna, salt steam sauna, 3 Finnish saunas. There were massages and other services available. All in all, we liked it here and if there will be again some kind of special offer, we will use it.

We visited this hotel during the summer season.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and it is located in the Damänovská valley, near to a lake Vrbické pleso.
We booked a room for four days and decided to spend our time in the mountains. Climbing to the peaks Chopok, Ďumbier, and Dereše.
The hotel has a large parking lot. So, you do not need to be worried about finding a place if you arrive in the evening.
The lobby and reception are very pleasant and clean. The staff was nice, willing to do everything to your satisfaction.
The rooms were renovated to a modern style, clean, but a lit bit small. For my wonder, we had a double bed in the room, but the mattresses were single, which I see as a negative experience.
The staff in a lobby bar was kind and very communicative. We ended our day with a good drink after dinner.
The food was delicious. We had a half board included. Breakfast and dinner were served in a continental form. Especially, there was a possibility to choose from cooked or continental breakfast, from many sweats and salty dishes, various kinds of drinks, juices, teas or coffees. For a dinner, there was a possibility to choose from two soups and four kinds of dishes, one of them was an especially vegetarian version, salads, and desserts. I love sweats and in my opinion, the desserts were not very tasty.
We had free entry to a wellness center for 3 hours every day during our stay. The wellness center was rich in saunas, pools, and jacuzzi. It was divided into internal and external parts. Especially I would like to thank Marek, a man, who was responsible for sauna rituals. They were like balsam after a long day in the mountains. It was a great relaxation.
We got full-day tickets for the cabin cars for free and in the next few days, we could buy the ticket for a discounted price.
All things considered, I would recommend this place. It is worth it.

Great hotel with one of the best breakfast I have ever had. The room was nice, the bed can be a bit bigger. The sauna and steam rooms are huge, but the swimming pool is a bit useless as it is too deep for children but too small for swimming and has limited jacuzzi functions.

Very good hotel. Breakfasts were good. Wellness: gets a little bit crowded on Saturdays, but during the rest of the days it was great. Hotel localisation is wonderfull. You can take a dog with you (extra charge). The hotel staff is friendly and helpfull. You have a parking place just in front of the hotel. There is a big constructiom site just in front of the hotel - but it wasnt bodering us, eventhough we had a view on it.
Recommend.

If you look for something known from other hotels with quality it's a good choice. If you want something more stylish or more mountain you won't find it there.

Very nice people met us at the reception, this hotel looks like a five star. Top level service. We are all pleased, next year we will come back.
