KOLIBA TRI STUDNIČKY u Tomášovcov

A very pleasant surprise. After a couple disappointments in the surrounding area, this was a marvel. Starting with a stylish and pleasant design of the place, nothing too fancy, one felt close to the outdoor nature. The menu has a humorous dimension and explains the story of the place. We tried several of the dishes and each was a success. The offer of local craft beer and spirits as well as the service was a cherry on the top.

Nice place with rich menu, mostly of local food.
The restaurant is located in a very pretty place so we sat outside by the river and the forest and it was just lovely.
They don't have an English menu but the waitress was very helpful.
We parked for free on the parking of the next door hotel.

Amazing food beautifully served, warm and cosy place. Highly recommended, Duško made us feel so comfortable. We will be back here.

Incredible food and atmosphere!

Great food in not so traditional slovak koliba. We waited for food for quite some time, but that was completely expected as the food was fresh. There was just one waitress but she ( Mariana) managed the serving with smile on her face and friendliness. There is nothing negative to be said about the food, which was delightful and packed with flavour. Absolutely recommend.

From the outside it looks like a classic slovak Koliba. On the inside, you’re surprised by a modern, cozy, and clean space. The food was a absolutely amazing. It was a mix of traditional with a unique spin which makes you feel like the chef is genuinely happy to cook for you and is putting effort into what you receive. The staff is happy to suggest the general favorites and is kind. The wait was completely normal, not long by any means, as this is a restaurant and not fast food. Meal portions were on the bigger side, so you will leave happily fed and satisfied.

Tasty local food. Some good soups and variety of dishes. Menus are printed version nicely. Owner helped or large group find a sitting place. Deserts were not so good, though.

Very cozy place near the Jasna resort. We loved the entire setting and the food they served us. We had the grilled trout and a schnitzel. Both dishes were delicious. We enjoyed a beer as we watched the creek that passes by. I’ll take some pictures next visit. I recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.

Delicious food. Chefs have their own very special recipes for traditional foods. Nice sitting outside by the river. The prices are about +20% comparing to other places

We came here a big group of 14 persons, they welcomed us and offered us this cozy private room. It was so cozy and the drinks were really good, specially their craft beers 🍻 simonka took such good care of us ❤ highly recommended

This restaurant was so good that we went for dinner two nights in a row! The chef’s delicious plates are perfectly complemented by the view of the river. The chicken liver appetizer was delicious! Looking forward to returning.

We had a very nice lunch at this cozy place. My husband ordered trout which was excellent, I had the Wiener Schnitzel - it was delicious. We topped it off with Sulance with poppy seeds. This is a traditional Slovakian meal (sweet). It was very tasty. Our waiter was pleasant and had good sense of humor. We had a very nice time here and would love to come back soon.

Very delicious!! Comfortable to sit and spend time with friends or family. Nice service and reasonable price. I recommend this place to everyone. This restaurant made my day completely happy with family and perfect food!! I will come back again for sure.

On our arrival evening we accidentally came by this place and it left such a strong impression that we returned for two more times during our 5 day little vacation. We tried a lot of local Slovak dishes here and not a single time felt dissapointed. Every dish had a unique flavor and most them had a nice twist on top of that. The menu was crafted with care and we felt that.

The only thing that left us mixed feelings was the positioning and interior of restrooms and exterior around it. The beehives, whether the bees live there or not, should be placed a little bit farther in the area, not near the restroom entrance. Unless it's some kind of a friendly joke :D.
