Strongly recommend “Loksa” (local “pizza”) and duck!

Everything was super tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. And this restaurant is just 3 min from the slopes - one of not many high dining place in this area.

It's worth walking a little further to try the really tasty cuisine, the best place in the area. My favourite dishes are yam soup and fallow-deer ragout, ravioly filled by potatoes, rose hip sauce. By the way, there are few people here compared to the restaurants on the slopes. Prices are standard considering the good quality of the food.

Fantastic restaurant with cosy atmosphere and insanely good food. Huge portions and reasonable prices. A place which you definitely want to visit again.

One small remark - there is no option of paying by card so take some cash.

This place is really unlike the others. It is a small chalet for around 30 people so make sure you book a table at least a day in advance.
You have an option of around 10 meals and one is better than the other. You just can not make a mistake. Prices are higher, yes, but the quality is there and portions are satisfying. They got Bakalář beer on tap and it is served the proper way.

I had only one complain during my three times there and it was solved quickly without any questions to my satisfaction. The meat was on the colder side. 5 mins later I was served again. Thumbs up for that. They know how to please a guest.

The restaurant is part of the Ostredok hotel and visibly went through a recent renovation. They don't have a huge selection (10 main dishes) which means you would likely get it freshly. Their waitress are really attentive, speak English. We wanted eat the only two vegetarian options but unfortunately they were out of it so we had to resort to meat option. I would normally give a 3 star because of it but their Weiner Schnitzel was really good and the Deer ragout with rosehip sauce was FANTASTIC - perfect texture, spiciness, not chewy deer meat, you can feel the rosehip. I wouldn't give it 5 stars as they were missing both meat-free options and the deer ragout were really meat-heavy (3-4 more pieces of cannelloni would make the perfect balance) but their service attitude and tastiness want them to stand out among the other options. Please keep up. The good work

Restaurant Slovak Koliba is good. National dishes, friendly staff. Unfortunately, I am very sad about the legal devastation of the surrounding nature. Unsensitive, brutal deforestation in very hearth of our National Park 😢. Most probably I will not return.

I feel like I went into magical cozy cabin in the middle of the woods. It was so great there. Not sure if it is the owner who greetedguests, the fuzzy decor, the fireplace or what.
But I will remember this restaurant as one of the highlights of the trip.

Also, I think I had the best pancakes of my life there.

Amazing quality food, innovative take on traditional “lokse” was super yummy. Even better is the attentive, fast (late afternoon mid sommer) and super nice, positive staff with smile on all the time :) definitely a place to eat if you’re in the vicinity.

stayed here for four nights B&B with my son on a ski trip. Rooms clean and spacious but fairly basic. Breakfast standard buffet with good variety. Restaurant food lovely and good value. Staff friendly and helpful. Attached ski hire shop had good equipment. Hotel could do with more communal seating for bar area. Would recommend staying here.

Very cozy place with great beer and very tasty food...I can highly recommend to visit...at least evenings reservation needed...

We came here just for a lunch and it was great! Nice service, very good food. They have a nice big glass windows from where you can see just trees what is very calming. We would come back for sure.

We were a bit confused because the photos (chalet style) don't correspond with the current place anymore. It's very modern but we were welcome inside with our dog after a hike. We had a nice view with the windows overlooking the trees, the food was delicious and the staff was friendly :)

Beautiful decor, true alpine hut feel and atmosphere. Great food - some of the best I’ve had, not just in Slovakia - traditional food with a really interesting and tasty spin. Super friendly and warm service. Must try the unfiltered Slovak beer, juniper shots and the potato flatcake (Loksa) to share. Massive meals but so good it’s worth rolling out of there.

If you want real authentic Slovakian experience and food - this is the place! Everything was very delicious. The staff was friendly and overall atmosphere was super. We enjoyed every dish we ordered and their Najlepšie palacinky dessert - the best we have!

Excellent place for dinner if you are staying in Jasná! If you want to visit on a Friday or Saturday make a reservation as apparently they are very popular! We had dinner with 5 and had a great time. Unfortunately we couldn't come back as they were fully booked on the other nights.
