camping Bystrina

We stayed in the camp for the second time. I would probably best explain my feelings about this site with a short story.
We are 2 dads with young boys who goes camping together from opposing sides of Slovakia. This year we choose a different camping, but when we arrived there, we literally changed our mind at that very moment and come back to Bystrina. That's how much we like it here 🙂
We're looking forward to renewed facilities (planned for September 2023), but even without the renovation, the camp is just a great place with friendly and helpful staff.

Old review:
Very nice place between Low and High Tatras. Not far from the city, but the surrounding nature makes you forget the city really fast. One star down because of the facilities. It was clean there and they cleaned the facilities every day, no issue there. But still, it's an old, 30+ years, toilets and showers. Maintained, but you feel that old communist era everywhere. Other than that, it's a beautiful place to relax in the nature.

Great location, fair price, and clean WC (a bit dated, but supposedly will be renewed late August). The Koliba restaurant was also very good! We will definitely visit again this summer!

It’s a great camp. It offers old but very clean and daily proofed facilities. Great located for hiking and biking!! Super fair prices. Wellness house and restaurant looks also super (we didn’t try!)

A good camping site at the bottom of the nizny tatry national park.
All the amenities you need at the campground.
Hot water all the time!
Few levels for pitching tents or caravan.
The lowest is closer a bit to the showers etc but more crowded.

At night is very quiet and have some lights but not too much.

Well equipped camping with charming reception staff, great toilets, hot water showers and kitchen. Also restaurant if you want that! If you want peace and quiet maybe it's not ideal as it is popular. Anyway it's a good basecamp for going hiking to Chopok och Dumbier! Buses stop across the street and can get you to cable car.

Autocamping Bystrina is very nice camping. There is a lot of space for your tent in beautiful nature. You can use the gas cooker in the kitchen and shower for free. I forgot my pot at home, they borrowed me one on reception. There is many fireplaces.
I was also in the restaurant, they cook very delicious. I recommend this place for you.

Big campground close to hiking and cave experiences. Several fire pits, benches and taps all over the campsite, lovely views, clean facilities. Guests of the campsite can use the spa of the hotel for a little extra.

Nice camping. Water is hot 24/h do you van także a shower aby hour you wants ;). The Staff is very helpful 😁

Great location and pricing)) No fixed pitches, so you can choose your own spot. Sanitary rooms might have been cleaner though.

Beautiful place with amazing view. Not very flat surface though, but managable. Restaurant with good menu.

u might hear bears eat ur food at night but they are harmless.
