Ponderossa Steakhouse Tatranska Lomnica

We went twice to this place. First time we got served by a very welcoming and kind lady. The second time the serving was a bit awkward by the fact that the waiter seemed to constantly question our ordering extra items. On the other hand, regarding the food, I would really like to point out that it was really delicious (especially the grilled corn). Moreover, the prices are really good for what you get, and you can find dishes to satisfy your hunger even if you are on a budget.

Absolutely delightful steaks. This place has never let me down, I think it is the best place to have a steak in the High Tatras area. Nothing comes close in Poprad. The servers are always pleasant, I got my order quick and it was superb. A HUGE plus for bringing me one litre of tap water! Thank you so much for getting me a coleslaw, even though it wasn't on the menu. And it was hands down the best coleslaw I ever had. I definitely recommend this restaurant, I love going here.

A great meal after a long mountain track. Just what the doctor ordered. Rib eye medium rare, all juicy and buttery, potatoes to soak up the juices and nice strong beer.

Fantastic find. Lovely staff and great food.
I had a traditional Slovakian Bryndzových halušiek and it was really good.
All other dishes that we ordered were good as well.
No English menu but they were prompt to translate to us.

We were really happy here. The veal schnitzel was one of the best I have ever had. Nice service. Reasonable prices for the tatras. We will certainly be back.

Amazing restaurant, one of the best restaurants in Tatranská Lomnica. Great steaks and burgers but awesome national Slovak dishes as well. Daily menu for good prices including salad buffet and lemonade that is free if you buy something from the menu. Kind waiters. The interior could be a little better looking but still looks Ok. Has an outdoor seating area with great atmosphere. There is a small outdoor playground and an idoor space for the kids to play as well. This place never disappointed me and I would recommend it to everyone.

Amazing place with delicious food. The best place from all places in Tatranska Lomnica. Strongly recommending deer goulash with knedla and fried veal. Beer was also very good. most favorite place in Lomnica. Must go.

I was supprised by the personnel approach. The staff was very friendly and service fast. Way above the High Tatry standard!

Excellent cheeseburger, very juicy and meaty. Enormous, I had to eat it with knife and fork, sry I forgot to take a picture, I was hungry :/ when I realized the burger was already gone.

Cozy home atmosphere, extremely tasty, not crowded. Staff professional and speak multiple languages.
