A great place to relax in nature with a great view of the mountains. The campsite has showers, toilets, a kitchen and a shop where you can buy drinks and something to eat.

Very beautiful view and large place for a lot of campers!
Could buy some warm snacks and food at this location which is nice if you're traveling only by car and forgot to buy something.
There's also a kitchen available, showers and toilets!

Important: cash only, and the gate closes at 10pm.

The camping site is at a great location with a stunning view on the high tatras. It has clean facilities and a small bistro with reasonable prices. Recommended!

Very cosy campsite with amazing view to the mountains. Quiet nights, correct prices and clean toilets and showers - although, the bathroom section could be bigger and could have been more place for personal belongings, but for a couple of days it was ok.

Great views, close to the train station and the owner allowed us to store our backpacks in the reception.

Great camping very close to the starting points of the trekking routes from the high tatras. Also the view from the camping is very beautiful.
Plenty of space for tents, camping vans.
Clean showers and bathrooms.
There is also a bar with the possibility to buy food ans drinks

We visited in June, there was enough space available. Prices are good, the camping is really well taken care of. The toilets are clean and the restaurant has good prices!

Price is normal, for this area. people are very fine. Very Near to walking areas and cabin for go to mountian. Near to village square etc… facilities here are very normal and standard. The toilet and shower is very clean

Campsite placed in beautiful spot with an amazing view on high mountains. There you have showers, toilets and wooden tables with benches. Sadly, they dont respect payment by card :- (

Awesome camp in High Tatras. Campsite is quite big with no pitches just free spots so you can choose your own space. Staff is really great, helpful and polite. Camp has own small restaurant with shop open from 6:30 to 22:00 where you can buy basic food. Close to restaurant is fully equipped kitchen. Facilities are clean and looks new.

Amazing camping, the staff was very kind when we arrived. The camping itself is very beautiful, if you place your tent in the right spot you have a great view directly towards a high mountain. The services available are amazing as well. There a small supermarket and restaurant open for almost the whole day. They have everything you need in terms of food. Next to that they have a kitchen where you can cook, very clean toilets and showers and possibly the option to wash clothes (if the washmachine is fixed by then). The location of the camping is ideal as well. It is very close to a train station and about 15 minutes by foot to a bigger town. As for price I would say it is good, it was about 9 per person each night with a tent.

Amazing camping. We were here in 2018 and again now in 2021. Prices are fair, I like that the showers are included in the price and you don't have to buy extra tokens for it. Toilets are clean and there is enough of them. I especially anjoy the little "bar" area where you can buy warm food or a glass of beer. Will choose this camping again in the future travels :)

Campsite with a really chill atmosphere. We came with a small 2 person tent and did nog have to specify the nights that we wanted to stay beforehand, but could just leave whenever we wanted. The staff was really friendly and there was a place for dinner and breakfast which was nice. The showers and toilets were really clean, the picture somewhere in these reviews with the yellow and purple shower curtains is not up to date anymore. Showers were free and warm, but you did have to push a button every 10 seconds. Also we could park next to the tent which was nice.

Really nice employees, offering to help when needed. Some speak a bit better English as others but that's not a problem. The site has no places and you just have to find a spot yourselves. The bathrooms have a unique way of confronting yourself with your toiletpaper usage. They are also very clean. The addition of a small kitchen with pots, pans, plates, knifes, ... is really nice. Also, the small restaurant is a lovely additional and generates a cosy feel in the camping. You can charge your phone at the reception , please don't do it in the kitchen. The train stop is only a 10 minute walk and gives access to supermarkets in the neighbouring towns, which are pretty affordable for a tourist hotspot. From the train station you can also start hiking very easily or visit the cable car.

Incredible campsite. I stayed 5 nights as a solo backpacker with just a tent and couldn't have been happier. Well located for trails and with the train. Pitch was soft and clean, pub was friendly and cheap, toilets and showers were always clean. Staff spoke English but were patient with attempted Slovak as well!

If you're catching the flixbus to/from here, choose the location as Tatranska Lomnica! Poprad wasn't worth visiting.

We stayed at Rijo a few nights and when reading the comments I was a bit hesitant initially. True, there are definitely nicer campgrounds and a few employees could be friendlier but overall I got the feeling, that they are taking the feedback very serious. Super clean shower and toilet facilities and 80% of the staff were extremly nice and went out of their way to help us with all our questions. I can recommend it!

Nice place, close to mountains and trains. I stayed there for a week, It's a pleasant experience.

Very clean and plentiful facilities for affordable prices (20,50 for 1 night, 3 people and a tent). The snack bar is very convenient with decent sized portions. Thoroughly recommend!

Great camping ground. It’s near a train station for all the towns along the High Tatras. Has a bistro/store that opens at 6:30AM and closes 10PM. Great spot for a pre hike breakfast and a dinner + beer when you get back. Open field for tents and vans. Friendly staff that you can count on for good hiking recommendations. Clean bathrooms. Great stay overall.

We paid 57€ for 2 adults,1 child, a camper for 3 Nights without electricity, in July. Kind owners, very helpful, all facilities very clean and regularly cleaned. Quiet campsite. 700 m from train station and 2.5kms from first town with shops. I warmly recommend this camping 🏕👌
