My 2 youngest kids (7 & 10) had 3 days snowboarding lessons with Kasper (Polish) and had an excellent time. I was amazed at how quickly they learned so it was testament to an excellent instructor. He brought them on little tours to see the dragon and for hot chocolate. I'm really happy with the school, Kasper and Michal who took my eldest son (12). Highly recommend these guys.

Very good rent: high quality equipment, fast service, minimal waiting time. Flexible payment, you pay for the first day and then after returning of equipment.

Everything was perfect. From the phone support while scheduling the classes and the classes itself. I had Igor as my instructor and can highly recommend him. Professional, friendly, patient and a highly efficient instructor. It was a great experience.

We went to Demanova Rezort for our first ski trip and to learn how to ski. We booked a lesson for my girlfriend and I, and we had our very first ski experience with Tímea. It was very good, she was very helpful and friendly, and we felt safe the whole time. Thanks to her even after one lesson we were able to practice and ski by ourselves for the rest of our stay.

The best service and staff in Jasna. I definitely recommend this rent.The ski conditions nice.

I really recommend this school for snowboarding lessons. We had two separate instructors and both were great. Good progress and in case the slopes are closed you get refund for the classes that did not take place - which is really nice. Next time I will also take classes with ski school smile.

Best ski school in Jasna. Jan is a great instructor and did everything he could to find us lessons everyday of our stay despite being overbooked unlike the other skii schools in Jasná who just said "sorry, were full"

I had a smooth, friendly and open conversations (w/Daniel) both over email and phone setting up kids' individual lessons (which went well, despite of 1-day weather disruption, ski instructor Erwin).
Ski rent worked perfect too.

Update: after my below review Daniel from the Smile Ski School reached out to me directly in email, apologising for the bad experience I had with one of their instructors. He was thankful for my detailed feedback and urged to clarify that though they try hard to provide excellent service and make customers happy and satisfied, it might still happen that some of their instructors does not meet their standards. They are working on filtering out these guys to continue building their 5-star rating. He offered me a full refund and an extra snowboard lesson with another of their instructors. which I couldn't take as I was leaving the ski resort the other day. Daniel's quick, honest and fair catch up proved me that the Smile Ski school probably deserves the 5-star rating they have, it is only that I had a bad luck with one of their seasonal instructor whom they won't employ in the future as they stated.

Original review: As an absolute beginner with zero experience in snowboarding my goal was to learn the basics of snowboarding and be able to slide done slowly on the easier slopes. I booked for a 2 hours session with Smile Ski School, which cost 67 euros. Quite expensive, I thought, but probably it worth the price to learn from a professional and get help with the first steps. I met with the instructor in the morning, and walked to the bottom of the slopes to start. He was a hard face, rigid guy from the first moment and even though it was a private lesson I felt like he doesn’t really want to build a friendly atmosphere to make it easier. As I said, I was an absolute beginner, I had no idea how to adjust the boots, the binding etc. He did not give any help with it. Without doing any warmup, he told me to step on the board, bind 1 foot and try to bend on the toe edge of the board for a few times, and on the heel edge for a few times as well. I was kept on falling and had trouble with getting up. I was struggling, and this guy was just standing 2-3 meters away from me and watching me struggling. Against any other lesson that I watched online since that, for some reason he forced me to try to slide and turn with only 1 foot strapped on to the board, and the other leg either on the centre of the board or on the snow. I couldn’t work it out, had difficulties finding the balance and the sweet spot and this guy did not even try to help me. I was in tears, suffering and wanted to give it up. My boyfriend, a semi experienced snowboarder came to help me up occasionally and when he brought it on to the teacher, why he was not giving any support or help to me, he replied: I am not here to give her support or help her, I am here to give her instructions! That was the last drop in the ocean, and we agreed with my boyfriend to send him away, even though another 45 minutes were still left from the pre-paid 2-hour session. This teacher, or instructor, no matter how we call it had zero empathy, zero pedagogical skills and even though he claimed that he has been doing this for 12 years, it was clear that he is a rascal doing this for the money and not for helping people learn snowboarding. My strong recommendation to Smile Ski School is please do not employ people who are cold hearted with zero educational skills and there only for ripping of newbies. The service that this guy provided worth not much than reading an online article and watching 2 YouTube videos about how to learn snowboarding for beginners. Once this guy has gone without saying goodbye, we started practicing with my boyfriend, based on how his instructor taught him back those days, and I was able to slowly slide down within 1-2 hours.
I am very disappointed with this company who left me in tears instead of a wide smile. I do not recommend them!

Daniel, it turns out that google maps has some editing problems there as it marked the ski school where the rental is nearby your facility. I have never been to your ski school, sorry for misunderstanding. I was there in january though :) I just happened to remember how rude they were in the building next to yours.

I am total beginner and I had two snowboard lessons with Erwin. He's really awesome, patient but encouraging. Good job :)

Who likes riding- highly recommend- friendly staff, new equipment, bikes with electrical support that you choose make it very easy

Polecamy , dobry kontakt , miła i fachowa obsługa budząca zaufanie. Trzykrotnej wypożyczaliśmy tu narty podczas naszego wyjazdu i zawsze było ok. Po godzinie 14.00 można pożyczyć narty już na następny dzień, żeby od rana nie czekać w kolejce. Sprzęt wydaje się w miarę nowy i dobrej jakości , nie mieliśmy żadnych problemów. Każdorazowo był dobierany pod wzrost i wagę i ustawiany dla każdego z Nas. Korzystaliśmy również z nauki jazdy na nartach. Dla dzieci i małżonki to był pierwszy kontakt z nartami a teraz wszyscy jeżdżą. Instruktorzy mówią po Polsku. Pozdrowienia dla Iwony i Kacpra ! Polecamy !

Super kontakt mailowy ze szkołą🙂 mialam lekcje jazdy na nartach z instruktorem Igorem. Przez 4 dni bardzo dużo mnie nauczyl, dużo tłumaczył, pokazywał i przekazał mega dużo wskazówek jak zacząć jeździć na nartach. Igor to mega miły instruktor, bardzo kontaktowy, z dużą wiedzą o stokach na Chopoku. Polecam każdemu tego instruktora, na pewno nauczy jeździć każdego 🙂 szkola ski smile jest super 🙂

Výborná skúsenosť, vypožičanie lyží bez problémov, v Ski rent je milý a ústretový personál. Zároveň tiež plne odporúčam výber tejto lyžiarskej školy mala som 2 lekcie s Igorom,ktorý bol profesionálny a milý,podarilo sa nám aj flexibilne rezervovať ďalšiu lekciu ešte v ten istý deň.
