Teo's Tonics

A bright fun star on route from anywhere near old town. They call themselves a party starters and for sure credit is earned. Variety of liqueurs (lot of them in pocket sizes), super friendly staff and great music anytime you enter the store. Been there like 5 times a day during our trip to Bucharest.

I liked this place a lot! Let’s start with the nice music and the tables outside on the street - a classic European have-a-drink-and-go place. They offer free chips to the beers which I highly appreciate as an appetizer. The variety of drinks is magnificent and the staff is pretty friendly. Toilets are clean and the shop as well. I recommend it for a beer or something strong for anytime of your walk across the old town.

Easily the best place on the whole strip. Had one of the best nights out of my life here.
We met people from all over the world and had so many drinks. This place is very upbeat and has a DJ outside playing some amazing mixes. Shop owner and all staff are very friendly and accommodating. I felt very safe here and had such a good night.

This is a great place to buy a wide variety of beers and spirits as well as enjoy the atmosphere of Old Town. However, the most special thing about it is Teo, the owner. He is so welcoming and generous with his customers, he makes you feel like part of his family. Forget about going to other bars with overpriced beers, go to Teo's!

you can find everything here and mix your own drinks, they offer glasses and ice.
you can sit at the tables or dance to their music in the street, its very cool

I really liked this place because it's really cheep. The guy is really kind and respectful. I love it because there are a lot of young people and it's a really good place to know new people from different countries. I really advice this place to tourists to make friendship. Go to Teo guys!!!

So it's a bottle shop, but one with a difference: outside seating! And lots of it A great place to buy cheap drinks, sit outside and watch the world go by before (or after) being assaulted (hopefully not literally) by the tourist-traps of the old town. The selection of beers, wines and spirits is very impressive, the music good and the proprietor very friendly. Get a sticker (or beer-mat) for the scrap book!

It's called THE PARTY STARTERS for a good reason. Me and my friends went there for a few self poured cocktails to start our night and we honestly had little reason to ever leave. Such a cool vibe. Why pay more for drinks? If you go to Centrul Vechi and don't visit here at the start, middle, or end of your night, you did it wrong. A must visit during your trip to Bucharest.

Great variety of drinks and you can also have them on the spot. The guy was very helpful.
