Nikos Greek Taverna - Centrul Vechi

If you love Greek culture, food and dining somewhere that has a small taste of Greece you should definitely dine in Nikos Greek taverna. The portions were generous, the quality of the food very good and the cooking was excellent. We had several dishes for 2 ppl and had a very good time. Definitely a restaurant we will pay a visit again.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our meals here. The Mousaka was delicious. Really nice sitting outside in a nice warm igloo. Would recommend.

I discovered this charming little Greek restaurant just around the corner from my hotel. The service was outstanding, and the food was not only amazing but also served surprisingly quickly! I was genuinely surprised by the speed of the service.

It's cozy and the food delicious :) Mussels are very well prepared, octopus the same, soft, not dry. We also ate a good feta cheese. The mussels for me is an emblem for any restaurant. So is good. Many things are there too, try... The atmosphere, what to say, Greece, is peaceful, colored, natural.... enjoy!

If you want to avoid the high prices of Old Town, then Nikos Tacerna is your salvation. Not only the prices are good, the plates come in a decent sizes. We've ordered a classic chicken gyros that came with a ton of meat, potatoes, onion, tomatoes and tzatiki, as well as bifteki with potatoes, onion, tomatoes.

It's also located where there aren't masses of people walking around, so you might find in cozy.

The service was great, friendly waiters and the food came really fast. Highly recommend an online order as well!

Went there for an early dinner. Place is nicely decorated. We ordered 2 soulvaki sandwiches, with greek salad. Service was very good and the food was excellent. It was better than any I had in Greece.

A cosy place, with surprisingly good food. They changed the owner, but is still good food. We have spent 20 euro each, with appetizers and wine and main dishes. It was really tasty. We will definitely come back!!!

Situated in the quieter part of the old town, this taverna has a calm atmosphere, the seating outside is nice and quiet, music is discrete, service is friendly and the food is good. We loved that there are smaller portion size on the menu (mezze style) and the food variety allows for few very good vegetarian/healthy options. Our favourite was the feta cheese stuffed grilled pepper with pita bread.
