Loved this place!!! This was right up my street! Nothing fancy, friendly service, and great local food at a good price!!

We got here pretty early (around 11am) so there wasn't a queue, but when we left, the crowds were starting to build.

This place is nestled in the market Obor. There are plenty of places to sit / stand to have your mici.

The first counter is where you order your food, and then the second is where you get your drinks.

There is traditional music playing in the background, but that's part of the charm!

You must come here when in Bucharest! And then you can explore the market after!

By far here you can find the best mici in Bucharest. The place is nicely decorated and has a good service. There is plenty of space to eat and a nice vibe around the area. There was a huge line on a Saturday for lunch but it was totally worth the waiting. The mici here have a good size, they are grilled to perfection and they are so juicy.
The best way to enjoy them is next to a beer so don’t skip it.
Please take into consideration that this is a cash only place so make sure you have some money.

If you're seeking an authentic taste of Romania in Bucharest, Terasa Obor Service is the spot to be. Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of Strada Oborul Nou, this street food haven offers a delightful culinary adventure.

Upon arrival, expect a lively ambiance with the sounds of traditional Romanian music in the background. While English may not be widely spoken, the warm atmosphere and inviting aroma of freshly grilled mici immediately capture your attention.

The ordering process might seem a bit unconventional, but fear not; the friendly staff are more than willing to guide you through the experience. And speaking of staff, a special shoutout to the gentleman who not only served us with a smile but also extended kindness by accommodating our card payment situation. It's these gestures that truly make a dining experience memorable.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the mici. Succulent, flavorful, and always fresh, these Romanian sausages are a true delight for the taste buds. Served alongside mustard and bread, each bite is a celebration of local flavors. And with prices that won't break the bank, indulging in this culinary delight is a must.

The eclectic atmosphere adds to the charm of Terasa Obor Service. From quirky quotes adorning the terrace to shelves stocked with books for solo diners, there's something enchanting about this place.

Yes, there might be a queue, but trust me, it's worth the wait. Besides, what's a little anticipation when you're about to embark on a culinary journey through Romania's street food culture?

In conclusion, if you're looking to immerse yourself in Romanian culture through food, look no further than Terasa Obor Service. With its delicious mici, welcoming ambiance, and affordable prices, it's a dining experience that earns a solid 10 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone craving a taste of authentic Romania.

We saw this on YouTube and the others that came before us were right. The mici sausages are freakin awesome. Highly recommend if you are in Bucharest. It is absolutely worth the trip and the line (there will be a line until they run out)

The most authentic lunch we had in Romania! Fantastic local vibe and fresh succulent mici for a good price. The gentleman serving us was kind when we said we didn’t have cash (only card) and gave us our food and beers anyway and told us where to find atm to get cash nearby! So many places in Europe might turn you down and ask you to get cash before they serve you - we appreciated this kindness/ trust 🙌🏼 highly recommend this place for a mici feast and a cold beer with a local vibe!

Really great place. You can feel the local atmosphere. Most importantly, mici are delicious, fresh, cheap. We went there twice during our short stay in Bucharest. While drinking cold beer in the shade of an umbrella and eating mici, we felt that this was an authentic place - a very good experience for a tourist.

This place is eclectic, with a touch of authentic Romania. The mici are super tasty, and the surrounding is quite a fun one.

This is a traditional Romanian setting where you can taste some of the finest 'mititei' in Bucharest.

One of the highlights in Bucharest. There are two windows. One for the meat and one for the drinks. Line up separately. You want to order the mici with plenty of mustard. How many do you want? Maybe 2-5 per person. Many reviews say to skip the bread. I think you want the bread. Which beer to order? Order the Skol. If you don’t deink alcohol, I suggest the original Coke (not the sugar free one). Hope you enjoy.

Authentic Romanian place! It is filled with sarcastic quotes and funny items all together. Mici are also tasty and go well with beer.

Amazingly juicy meat, suggest you get 4-6, and a couple of rolls of bread! Highly, highly recommend! ***Big tip, they only do cash!***

Don't forget to grab a Skol as well!

We had to wait in line for 1.5 hours but the food is worth the wait. We had 5 micii. As a heads up, Teresa Ober prefers cash.

My first time trying ‘Mici’ and it was superb. OMG! I’m still thinking about it and my mouth waters every time.

I advise to go early since it’s very popular and there’ll be a long queue. Waited for 30 min more or less but it was worth it.

It’s very cheap and so yummy. A must try, don’t skip this place if you visit Bucharest 😂 you have to eat here!!!

Delicious food to enjoy in a simple 90s setting.
Mici - 5 lei/piece
Beer - 6 lei/glass
Bread - 1 lei/piece
Perfect music to accompany you along with the true colors and writings of Ro values on the walls

Hipster place for “mici” in Bucharest. Do expect a big queue(for me it was never below 30’). People go there mainly for “mici” as they also don’t have much more(I remember I saw some sausages, but that’s it)

Everything said here is on point. Mici: delicious, beer: cold, bread: does the job. The wait is way too long, they can definitely benefit from a second service counter.

Verdict: worth the wait!

This is probably the best place to experience local style of cooking native dish - Mici. Taste is amazing, design is unique. Come and see for yourself, you will come back for more 😀

There are somethings you just have to do when in Bucharest and visiting here is definitely 1 of those not only for the best Mici available in Bucharest.
The que when we visited was not the longest and went pretty quickly and the price is great 5 lei per mici and 5 lei for a beer you cant really go wrong.
Served the correct way with mustard and 1 lei for bread if you want it and if you know how to eat Mici it's with your hands no fork and knife.
The seating area is like being in the middle of the countrysids at a bbq with many random decorations scattered across the place and so much charecter with a lot of friendly faces and everybody having a great time while eating great food.
So yes the reason to come here is for the great mici which I will repeat is great and very very tasty you won't get any better but the reason to stay is the place yes it's not fancy or full of people taking selfies but that's what makes it great it's real food, real people in a real environment that is an experience you should all have.
